Chapter 59 FALL IN LOVE WITH ME QUICKLY

1079words
It's been a week since Anna left her grandfather's mansion. She hadn't forgotten how Noah came to carry her away on his shoulders even if she protested many times.

Not even her grandfather or aunties could save her from him. She didn't want to return but he took her away. Now she was with Noah, she didn't think she was ready for marriage.

Anna hadn't thought this marriage through before getting into it, now she's stuck in it. There's no way out of it anymore.

She had thought of moving into a different room from his, but Noah didn't let her. He said all of the empty rooms were for their children.

Just how many children was he willing to have? There were more than 15 empty rooms in the mansion, was he willing to have that number of children?

She shuddered at the thought. She hasn't even thought of having a child yet, not to think of fifteen children. She sighed. Noah was a crazy man, she should have known he would do something like this.

She stared at her reflection through the round mirror as she brushed her hair, one week had passed since the press conference and the canceled grand opening ball.

Its cancellation had been on the news for two days with people fabricating different reasons why. But she knew it was because of her.

Everyone was back to their normal lives, but it didn't mean people stopped talking about her. There was so much juicy news on the internet about her.

Even if she had requested to keep her relationship life private, it's like her speech did the opposite cause everyone was now suddenly interested in her personal life.

The news about her alleged newfound man was still on the lips of everyone. They had tried matching her with every Tom, Dick, and Harry they could find on the internet, not knowing the real devil was right here under the same roof with her.

They Still called her different names, but not many people cared anymore.

While most people moved on, other paid blog pages kept talking about Anna. Especially the three pages handled by Nari herself.

She has spent the last week at home fueling the news and bashing Anna as well as comparing herself to Anna.

Just when she thought she was successful and Anna was over, something else popped up to keep her on the trend.

Once Anna was done brushing her hair, she stepped out of her closet and into the bedroom to sleep only to find Noah already in the room. He seems to be working on something with his laptop.

As if he noticed her gaze, Noah raised his head to look at her. His lips formed the sweetest smile. His dimples were visible. Noah closed his laptop and placed it on his bedside table before stretching his hands towards her.

Anna but her inner cheek before taking his hands. Noah pulled her into his embrace, placing her between his thighs, as he let her rest her head on his chest.

Anna could feel his steady heartbeat and she wondered if Noah had ever had anything to worry about any day in his life.

"Do you have a tight schedule next week?" She heard Noah ask and she raised her head to look at him.

"There's a party with the Yong's and a few interviews. I also have to rehearse for my speech at the award show coming in two weeks. Why did you ask?"

"You're still attending that party?" He removed a few strands of her hair from her face.

"Lola said it'll bring good press. What's the worst that can happen?" Noah nodded.

"You're right, no one dares touch what's mine." Her cheek warmed up at his words and she laid back on his chest.

"Why did you ask?" Anna asked without looking his way.

"My mother's birthday is next week and I want you to come with me." He proposed.

"We can't be seen in public together Noah." She turned to look at him.

"Who said it's public? We don't post our private lives on the news sweet, it's safe to go together. Though we won't be around each other much, till you're done dealing with those fools." Noah stated.

Vincent has been on Noah's neck for the past week now, saying he wanted to see the pretty lady. So did Lionel, they both wanted to meet Anna. The woman who has successfully stolen the heart of their son.

Noah wasn't someone who believed in love or marriage or anything that had to do with that. Lionel was more than stunned when his son told him about the girl. Though he had seen her on the news and on the internet, he wanted to see her in person.

"Alright, but what day is it? I also have to plan a gift for her." Anna asked excitedly. Noah had met her family, but she hadn't thought of meeting his family.

She was excited but at the same time nervous to meet them. She had no idea what they looked like since no one has seen them on the news. She was scared they might hate her after all the news online about her.

It's the same hate her family has for Noah, the difference is he doesn't care, but she does. She cares so much about what they think of her.

Though she's met Elder Vincent once, the old man didn't seem bad, but Noah has warned her to never get close to any man anymore.

"I doubt she needs gifts," Noah said as he watched her play with her fingers on his chest. She had completely forgotten he was bare and anything she does might trigger his crazy side.

"There's no one who doesn't love gifts Noah, especially a woman. No matter how much she has. The little you offer would go a long way." He scoffed.

His mother was the opposite of everything Anna talked about. She's greedy, a bully, and never associates with people below her status.

"No matter what you do, don't talk to her for long alright?" He tucked a large strand of her hair to the back of her ear to see her nod.

"You'll be there so I have nothing to worry about." She smiled and he smiled back.

"Of course." The room finally turned silent as both people got lost in their thoughts. Slowly, they both fell asleep.
