Noah watched her closely, like a predator about to devour it's prey. He saw her take his hands without looking at him. The woman's cheek had turned pink, she was embarrassed and he loved it.
He wants to be the only one to see her in this state. The thought of someone else seeing her like this irritated him, but he waved it off as quickly as it came.
Whatever it was she did in the past, he would replace it with memories of himself.
Noah pulled her softly to place her between his thighs. Her soft bottom rested on his laps where it belonged, he thought.
Anna was embarrassed, she had to constantly remind herself that they were married and that everything Noah was doing to her was normal.
She was his wife and he was her husband. She wasn't doing anything wrong.
She felt his hands fall from her waist and settled on her bottom. Her body had turned aware of his every little movement, his every little action.
"I couldn't tell you how beautiful you looked today." Noah's hoarse voice rang in her ears and she turned to look at him.
"You ignored me." She finally said, wondering why he avoided her earlier, why he acted like he didn't see her.
"Do you now want me to announce us publicly?" Anna quickly shook her head. It would be a disaster, especially now she was being thorn to pieces online. She couldn't drag Noah down with her.
"Not yet." She whispered.
"If I had given you any ounce of attention, even if I glanced, it would draw the eyes of others and I know that isn't what you want." She shook her head in response.
She saw Noah slip a strand of her hair to his hold, twisting it between his fingers. Anna now understood why he had ignored earlier, he was doing it because they were in public.
In public places, they weren't married, but in closed places, she was his wife. She nodded in understanding.
How could she forget Noah had given her three months to settle everything she had with her past so that he could announce their relationship publicly.
"How did the press conference go?" He finally asked her to see her purse her lips. She was silent for a moment. He knew how it went, but he wanted to hear from her.
"Great." Anna responded now playing with the buttons of shirt. "Everything went according to how we wanted it." She added with a sigh.
Her phone has been seized by Lola and replaced with a non internet phone just so she doesn't get tempted to see what people have to say about her.
"Hurry up with whatever plans you have and clear everything up quickly. Don't forget to ask me when you need help." She nodded.
Noah has been more than helpful to her, she would handle this mess herself. Though she was off the internet it didn't mean she wasn't in the city, and the way people around stared at her made her sad. Especially the workers around here.
It felt like if they had their way, they would make her disappear. She's now known as a desperate narcissist. As much as she didn't want to care, she was human. Her curiousity was getting the better of her even if she knew she would get hurt at the end.
"Here." Noah handed her the glass of drink he poured earlier.
"You can get wasted as much as you want, but only when I'm around." He said to see her take the glass from him with a small smile on her lips.
Noah was unfortunately aware of her bad habits, and rather than chastising her and calling her certain names, he was offering her a drink himself.
Anna stared at the liquid in the glass and took a sip of it." She smacked her lips together.
"It isn't bad." She stated.
"It's not as strong as mine cause I don't want you fully unconscious." He removed a few strands of hair from her face to see her smile fall and being replaced by a gloomy face.
"I wasn't always like this." Her eyes moistened.
"I know." He responded to see her gulp all of the liquid in one go.
Certain situations has turned her into someone she's not and she doesn't think she can ever be that sweet Anna ever again.
Two years ago, she wasn't only ridiculed online, but she couldn't step out of her house cause people insulted and called her different names in public places.
She hid from people for fear of getting beaten up. She was bullied and rejected by the society for something she didn't do.
Anna could recall working endlessly that day cause she got a new product to sell, when her manager informed her about what was going on. She quickly checked her phone and saw a post she hadn't made, mocking Nari's family including her dead father.
Anna quickly deleted it, but it was already too late as the world had already seen it, calling her different names. To make matters worse, Nari quickly did a live stream with over one million listeners crying and spreading lies about her.
Anna had lost more than half of the followers she had at the time.
Everyone believed Nari. No one listened to her cause it was on her page the post was made, which meant she made the post. And Nari being her best friend made matters worst.
Different people she hadn't met in her life came out to say nasty things about her and people still believed it. Whoever had planned her downfall with Nari knew everything about her to the last. And they had everything sort out before the plan was even executed.
That's why she would make them pay for everything they did to her.
"Are you sure you can still attend the grand opening of Linco tonight?" Noah asked silently and saw her shake her head.
"Is it compulsory?" When she raised her gaze at him, a tear dropped from the corner of her eyes and he caught hold of it quickly with his tongue.
"Noah." Anna tried to run from him but he held her in place.
"Stay still." He said.
"I hate seeing you cry for those people or even shed a tear." If she just let him, he would easily deal with both people and make sure they never return to this city ever again, but she wouldn't let him. She wanted to do things herself.
Anna nodded at his words, "Y... You didn't have to taste my tears." She blushed.
"Why not. I already told you, you and everything in you belongs to me." Noah declared shamelessly in the quiet room.
As if realizing something, Anna stared out the door and turned to Noah. "We should leave before someone come in here, I don't think the president is coming anymore." She said worriedly.
"Why will I come again when I'm already here." She turned agape at his words.
Noah was the president of Linco?
All these while she thought he only had a few connections in the company or was close to the owner. She had no idea Noah owned the company, and to think she was scared she would be dropped.
"I... I was scared of getting dropped by the company today after the whole press conference." She muttered.
"Aren't you scared it would affect the company if people found out I'm the face of the company?" Noah shook his head.
"That's why the grand opening ceremony will be cancelled until you clear your name. Don't worry, Linco will function as always, only that the public are yet to know about it." She nodded at his words.
"So you're my boss."
"You're my sexy business partner." He corrected.
