Chapter 49 DINNER

1012words
"How is this?" Anna asked twirling before the floor-to-ceiling mirror checking out the clothes she wore. She had changed into more than seven outfits looking for more suitable clothes to wear.

Though what she wore was way bigger than her usual size, she loved it especially since it belonged to Noah.

She turned to look at the man who was leaning against the doorway, his shoulder pressed into the wood and his legs crossed at the ankles. He had his usual bored expression as he watched her.

Who knew one day he would have a cute little pest invade his life?

Her tiny figure was lost in his large shirt which covered her womanly curves but that didn't make her less sexy. After all, her body is meant to be seen by him and him alone.

"It's perfect." He ran his hand absently over his bare forearm where his shirt was rolled up.

It wasn't only Anna who had changed her clothes, but also Noah since they were both going out for dinner. Since the grand opening ball was canceled, they both decided to eat out.

He would have gone with what he wore earlier, but Anna was scared someone would recognize them, especially her. Noah sighed. He has been caught up in her famous life, having the press and paparazzi chase them no matter where they go.

"It smells like you too." He heard her say with a smile.

"I haven't worn it before," Noah started to see her bite her lower lips in embarrassment and he chuckled.

"I had no idea." She rolled her eyes.

"Of course you didn't." He pushed himself from the wall he relaxed on and walked up to her.

"Stay still let me help you with your hair darling." Anna watched him tie her hair into a loose bun before wearing the black visor he was holding. He held the oversized sleeve of his shirt on her and folded it to her wrist.

"Much better." He muttered raising her chin as he perked her lips.

"You're sure no one will recognize me?" Anna asked to see him nod as he arranged his shirt on her. And she felt the need to arrange his shirt too.

"No one will trust me." She nodded, believing his words.

Noah saw his wife move her hands around his clothes as if arranging his and then his hair which she kept in order. He let her do what she wanted and just watched her silently. Once the couple were done with whatever they wanted, they left the closet and stepped back into his office.

"Do you have a place in mind?" Anna saw Noah pick up his keys and cell phone.

"I don't." He said.

"I know a place."

"Then let's go." He stretched his hands which she took and both people stepped out of his office.

When they arrived in the elevator, Anna tried getting out of his hold, but he held her even tighter.

"No one can see us together Noah." She reminded him in a whisper, but the man seemed unfazed by her words.

"We're in an enclosed space, I can hold you however I want in here." Anna felt her cheeks turn warm as his lips touched the back of her hand.

It was the only time Noah got to spend with her, especially since she wasn't at home for now.

"It's not like anyone would dare use this lift." Noah loved his privacy and had specifically asked Paul to create a special lift for him just so he doesn't get disturbed.

As the elevator door opened a familiar face came to view and Anna quickly pulled her hands from his.

"Mr Declan." An elderly man bowed in greeting and then shifted his eyes to the woman standing next to his young boss. It was the man from the conference, the one who didn't like Anna being the face of Linco.

He looked closely at the woman who didn't dare raise her head to look at him. She was in his boss's clothes, coming out of his private lift with their hands linked together, which meant she had spent time in his office.

Donald frowned when he recognized the woman standing next to his boss. It was none other than Anna Sui, the same woman who made them cancel and change the date of the grand opening of Linco because of her stupid decisions.

He could now understand why Noah was adamant about not replacing her and making her the face of their company. It isn't because of talent, but because he was sleeping with her.

How shameless. Donald thought staring at the shameless woman. He wouldn't blame her, it is what young girls her age did.

They find a wealthy man to mess around with just to keep up with their fake lifestyle and be on trend.

Now this is juicy news. Donald thought.

He wondered what would happen if people found out about this. It will ruin her reputation further to the point where Noah will not think twice removing her from the list of models for their company.

If Noah cannot do the right thing, he will do it himself.

"What do you want Donald?" Noah asked staring at the old man. He had no idea Donald would be around by this time of the night even after cancelling everything they had to do today.

This man was almost the same age as his father, he had no idea why he would still be out by this time of the night.

"You seem so busy at the moment, I'll leave you to have your fun." Donald smiled and stepped aside for both people to walk away.

On their way out, Noah quickly pulled Anna close to himself as they stepped out of the building.

Donald didn't move from his position until both people were out of sight. He stared at the captured images on his phone which wasn't clear enough and clicked his tongue in annoyance.

"What the hell," Donald muttered and walked away.
