"You better have a good reason for calling me at this hour." She growled.
"You need to see the news quickly. It has something to do with Anna Sui." Nari quickly ended the call and went ahead to check the news like her assistant had instructed her.
"...It can't be..." She muttered placing her palm over her lips, her hands vibrating as she held her phone. Her greatest fear was coming back to destroy her again.
Nari has always been in Anna's shadow. Nari knew she wasn't as beautiful as her ex friend, neither was she lucky when it came to all of these, that's why she had fought so hard to make sure Anna never popped back up.
She tucked her hair to the back of her ears and quickly searched for, "Anna." She typed the word hesitantly and behold, the name appeared. Anna was a hot trending topic, not only in their country but world-wide.
When Noah said he was going to bring her back to the limelight, he wasn't talking about their city alone. He meant across the globe.
As Anna stood at the podium, vibrant flashes of camera bathed her face. Everyone fought to be the first to ask questions.
"You have been missing for two whole years Miss Sui, why did you suddenly decide to come back?"
"Miss Sui for the past days you have been trending nonstop did you plan that too?" One reporter asked.
"How is your relationship with Mack Yong miss Sui?"
"Why did you try to intimidate Nari at the mall Miss Sui? Did you do it for your hype?"
"Are you and Miss Nari ready to patch things up, or are you still jealous of her?"
"Two years ago you made that post that ended your career, do you regret it?"

Questions flew from one side of the hall to another. The staffs and bodyguard in the building quickly rushed to control the crowd before they get out of control.
Once they have put everyone back in place, Anna was finally allowed to speak.
"Firstly, I want to thank you all for giving me an opportunity to speak out and also apologize to anyone I must have offended because of my actions." She started.
"No, I and Nari sadly can never be as close as we once were and it is my fault. I take accountability for that. If I hadn't made that post mocking her family, we would still be friends." Whisperes was heard among the reporters.
"The mall incident with Nari, I was indeed trying to create a hype for my return. That I also take accountability for."
"For my relationship with Mack Yong. We are officially over and I would please appreciate it if you can respect my privacy on that."
At her words the entire hall went on uproar. Mack wasn't wrong after all, but they wondered what resulted to the couple breaking up.
Mack and Anna Sui has been in a relationship before she even got famous, why would a seven years relationship just come to an end.
"Miss Sui since you're confessing everything did you also use Mr Yong for fame and then dump him cause you got a bigger fish?" Anna stared at the young man who asked, he was staring at her disdainfully.
"What Mack and I shared was magical. And as much as I wanted it to last, it didn't last."
"Hahahaha." "What the hell is she doing?" Nari laughed watching the conference live from her phone.
She hasn't gotten out of bed since she heard Anna was returning and wanted to see what she was up to.
"You're ruining your image further Anna." She murmured smiling to herself.
"This is going to be a good show." Nari hopped off the bed hurriedly to her drawer and brought out three old phones. They're the once she used to support Anna as well as herself in the past. When she was still naive and stupid.
She climbed her bed and switched on each phone. "Now let's play a game."
Switching on the phones, Nari opened her blog page. The usual pages she had used in creating lies about Anna in the past.
"What a loser, admitting to everything she did and for what?" Came her first post and everyone jumped on it.
She turned on the next phone and started typing. "Even after two years this bitch still can't leave Nari alone. Poor Nari." She posted with a sad picture of herself.
Anna has just used her hands to ruin her image the more. Nari laughed wondering who had advised her to even hold a press conference in the first place.
Admitting everything she had done in the past and claiming she's a narcissist and an obsessed freak was not a good comeback.

Once Anna was done speaking to everyone, she bowed in respect and left the hall with her bodyguards. Noah had promised to protect her and that he did. She just hoped, everything that happened today will work as they have planned.

She wished she could let everyone know the truth about Mack, but what truth is it if there was no proof. It will only make matters worse.

As she walked through the halls of Linco entertainment, everyone stared at her distainfully, including the staff of the company. She could see hate in their eyes, as if, if she wasn't a public figure, they would have thrown things at her.

Why did it seems like people hated her more for taking accountability of everything they accused her of? She didn't do anything wrong, she just accepted what they called her.
Anna was still deep in her thoughts when she saw Noah arrive at Linco with two Giant men beside him and the man that had introduced himself as Paul to her.
It had only been last night she saw him, but why did it seems like it's been ten years since she had seen him. Noah seemed cold and distant.
He didn't even spare her a glance and just walked away with the guards. She wondered if this was the same man that has told her he loved her this morning or if he was someone else.
Was he mad at her? But what did she do?
Did her plan not go through?
"It's done miss Sui, the entire country hate you even more." Lola smiled before Anna and Anna's confused gaze met hers.
