"What exactly am I supposed to do with this?" I eyed the bunny hopping nervously in its cage.
"For you to chase." Kael was completely serious. "Wolves chase rabbits. It's excellent stress relief."

But seeing his expectant expression, I accepted the cage anyway.

Kael nodded, looking satisfied. His fingers tapped rhythmically against his thigh—a wolf habit when they're content.
