Hlaford's POV

I smiled as I watched the happiness on their eyes while embracing each other. Dragunus looked at me and I nodded.

When I noticed that I couldn't see my reflection on the Findan pot, I immediately ask the fairies to change the water. I knew that it would give an unclear result if the water isn't clean. I wonder how it ended up being contaminated with dirt.

"T-This can't be..." Greg whispers, enough for everyone to hear. I heaved a deep sigh.

"Draco is the fated savior of Vortaxia." He frantically pointed his son. He looked at us disappointingly. "Are you saying that Gaviel's prophecy is nothing bu ta lie?!" he yells.

"Stop."

Silence filled the place when Dragunus finally said his word. Greg looked away. The hint of annoyance on his face is obvious.

"Do not forget that we are intruders in this Kingdom. Pull yourself together and let's settle this in our own Kingdom." The God of Dragonia raised his hand and a portal appeared.

Dragunus said his goodbye and we watched them disappear on our sight.

He's right...

Dragunus had verified Lucio's faith from birth. If it isn't him...

I looked at the young man standing before me. Is it him?

Golden's POV

"I really can't believe him!" I huffed. I munched the chewy bread and rolled my eyes.

"How can they come here and make a show," I told him. Damon remained silent and that made me more annoyed. Since his father arrival, it seemed like he have lost his tongue.

"Hey... You alright?" He looks at me and nodded.

Liar

"Is it about what your father told you?" I asked. He bows his head and slowly nods his head. I hissed annoyingly and elbowed him.

"Do you seriously listen to what your father says?" I taunted. He didn't answer. I put my munchkin on the plate and hold his hand. "Hey... Your father seemed to have filter in his eyes. He couldn't see the good in you and I honestly pity him for that."

He looked at me.

"Don't listen to everything he says. Don't listen to anyone who doesn't know you," I told him. My lips pouted when he smiles handsomely at me.

I sure made him feel better.

"Golden!"

I didn't have to look and check who it was because I already know who owns that high-pitched voice. I smiled and waved at Elaine. She came running towards us while Gabby is tailing her from behind.

"I wish we could eat together," she huffs while looking at the two-seater table we're currently occupying.

My smile faded when I saw how intently Gabby is looking at Damon. I cleared my voice and catch his attention.

I feel like he already knows something.

"I think you should go and eat your snack. We'll head to the assembly hall after this remember?" I told her, trying to make them leave. She took my munchkin and waved goodbye.

"We better go now." She smiled and started walking away. Gabby looked at me and smiled.

"See you later," he says and took a quick glance at Damon.

For how long can we hide his race?

We headed to the assembly hall a few minutes later. Damon was holding my hand tightly. I felt bad for him because I know how uncomfortable it must have been for him to be around the Vortans he's not used to be with.

He's the only dragon in Spheria.

My jaw literally dropped on the floor when we entered the assembly hall. It's very huge and I see a lot of flying unicorns everywhere. I winced when a sparkling star-like object landed on my nose. I crossed my eye to look at it.

"It's a pixie star," he says. I watched him removed it from my nose.

A pixie star?

"It's unicorn feces," he added. My face falls from what I heard.

Fe—what?

Feces?

My eyes widened. That cute sparkling star-like object is a unicorn shit?!

My eyebrows furrowed when he suddenly burst into laughter. "I'm kidding!" he blurted. I stared at him blankly and raised my hand to hit him when I saw Travis.

I cheerfully waved at him. "Travis!" I called. He looked at me and waved back. Cecilia is beside him looking annoyed as always. She spits the gum she was chewing and rolled her eyes.

I really feel bad for my boy best friend.

"Have you eaten?" he asked. I nodded cheerfully and didn't mind Damon's glares. Cecilia raised her right eyebrow and checked Damon out.

"He's hot," she commented. My smiled faded. Is she being serious?

In front of me, huh?

"Haha," Travis awkwardly laughs and elbowed his parsen.

"Aw!"

I still can't believe he's here. He never liked my fantasy novels and such when we were still on Earth. I wonder what his gift is.

"What's your power?" I asked him.

Travis gave me a small smile. He looks hesitant. "It's okay if you don't want to tell me. I don't know mine either anyway," I told him.

"It's invisibility."

My lips parted.

"Hey! Enough of your chitchat. I will freaking kill you with my poison if we run out of seats," Cecilia blurted and grabbed him away.

Invisibility?

Oh my gosh.

It was him!

Flashback

"Do your job well you little piece of shit," the customer taunted. I remained silent and just accepted their taunts.

I winced when she throw me a glass of beer.

"Fix yourself. I'll take care of this," Travis whispered. I stared at him for a few seconds before I let myself walk away from the table.

I immediately covered my face and cried my heart out. I started my job here just a few days ago and I've always been warned on rude customers beforehand by Helen. I never thought if would be this bad.

I studied really hard in college. I just had to stop because I didn't have money. And now I'm just being humiliated by a brat who's good for nothing but drink herself to death in our bar?

As much as I wanted to scream and rant at her, I don't want to loose my job.

"Look who's here," a drunk voice says. I looked at the mirror and saw the same girl who stained my uniform.

"How stupid can you get, huh? Bringing me beer instead if margarita?" she slurs. Her legs are noodles and she keeps on swaying because of drunkenness.

I wiped my tears and forced a smile.

"I'm sorry, Ma'am."

"Psh! Sorry your face you dumb bitch." She raised her hand, ready to slap me and I closed my eyes waiting for her hand to land on my face when I heard loud blag on the floor.

"Aww!" she groans. I opened my eyes to see her crawling away from the powder room.

What the...

End of Flashback

She wasn't crawling away.

She was being dragged away.

I chuckled softly and bit my lip. He's always been my savior.
