"You bastard! How dare you insult me?!"
My roar silenced the field.
William spoke coldly beside me, "I was merely helping the Duchess in need. Since when did that become seduction? Did you learn nothing from your books, Wilson?"

I was surprised William defended me. But then I heard Yvonne's inner voice:
[After Madame died in my past life, Duke Cecil knelt in the memorial hall all night — his hair turned white…]
[And I heard they were childhood rivals. Thinking about it now, he must have feelings for her.]
"?!"
Stunned, I fled the hunting scene in a panic.
Later, before I could process Yvonne's revelation, Wilson gave me another "surprise".

He practically brought a woman to front of me.
"Darling… I made a mistake when I was drunk. But Ivy is pregnant now. I have to marry her."
A woman named Ivy knelt and cried.
"Please, Madame, for the sake of the family's bloodline, allow it. I promise I'll serve you and my husband faithfully."

Then, Yvonne's inner voice reached me.
[Madame, you must refuse them! Don't let this woman into the house! She helped them hurt you in my past life!]
I narrowed my eyes.
Now that I looked closely, the woman at the flower shop was indeed Ivy.
I spat tea right in her and Wilson's faces.
They didn't dare move, but their eyes burned with anger.
I smiled. "Since she's carrying the family's blood, I'll allow you to marry her, dear husband."
Ivy and Wilson looked thrilled and repeated thanks.
After they left, Yvonne said anxiously, "Madame, this is like raising a viper in your bosom!"
"Ivy is the mother of that steward! If she enters the house, she'll seek revenge for her son. I worry for your safety…"
"Don't worry." I sighed.
Yvonne was too young to understand — it's easier to control enemies when they're in the open.
Even if Ivy didn't make a move, I'd force her to show her true colors.
Then I'd take down her, Wilson, and Warren all at once!
