Later, I spent ages chatting with Chloe, diving deep into topics like careers, poetry, travel, and food.
Not once did Ethan's name cross my lips.
He was just an incidental mention in my words, and I no longer had any emotional fluctuations because of him.

It seemed that reality and my consciousness were constantly switching.
Although I was speaking loudly, I felt that the world was extremely quiet.
It was even very cold around. Chloe pinched my arm and pulled me hard, signaling me to stop talking.
But suddenly, another big hand grabbed my arm. The inexplicable sense of familiarity made me feel annoyed.
"Tom? Mike? Amy? Jack? Robert?"
"Are you crazy? Let go of my wrist right now! I'm so annoyed."

Even familiar people shouldn't hold me like this, and I couldn't stand it.
After thinking for a while, I kicked out. I didn't know where I kicked, but the person let out a cry of pain and quickly released me.
Chloe pulled me to the sofa, and there was a commotion around.
"Mr. Ethan, are you okay?"

"Lily hit you. How dare she!"
"Have you noticed that Lily doesn't have feelings for Mr. Ethan anymore? She made such a fool of herself tonight, but she didn't mention Mr. Ethan once.Mr.Ethan, now that the mistress doesn't miss you, she won't taint you anymore... Mr. Ethan, why do you look so pale?"
"Mr. Ethan, where are you going?Olivia is still here. Your girlfriend is right here..."
Later, I heard people whispering that Ethan was acting strangely.
Soon, everyone was calling for Olivia again.
Chloe muttered to herself that Olivia had followed Ethan out.
