After an unknown amount of time passed,suddenly a deafening noise rang in my ears.
I suddenly opened my eyes and saw my husband firmly gripping Jack's hands His knuckles turned white from the force,and Jack let out a pained scream.
It turned out that after I fell asleep,Jack had coaxed my mother-in-law to sleep and then opened my door,intending to harass me.But before his hand could even touch a single hair on my head,my husband,who had been hiding nearby,grabbed his hands and twisted them behind his back.
