A sudden rush of adrenaline enabled me to break free from Emma's iron grip.
The officer steadied me,confused.“What’s going on?You look petrified.”
Breathless,I pointed at Emma’s belly.“That child must not be born,or it’ll cause endless chaos!”

“Emma isn't in control of her actions—the fetus is manipulating her.”
“I underestimated the power of a hyper-masculine chimera.Prepare for an abortion.I’ll do it myself.”
The officer’s expression turned grim. After reporting to his superiors, they gave the green light for the procedure.
Emma sat silently, head bowed. But as I entered the room to begin,a strange smile crossed her face.
The moment I opened the door, she launched herself at me, wrapping her hands around my throat.
Her blood-red eyes bore into me.“No one touches my child—not you,not anyone!”

“My child is more precious than my life!”
Emma was utterly mad,her mind hijacked by the monster inside her.
I scratched and pulled at her hands, but it was no use.
The officer rushed to my aid, striking her,yet she didn’t even flinch.

“How is this possible?”he muttered.
The officers here were powerful beasts themselves..A mule like Emma shouldn’t withstand such a blow.
More gathered,some grabbing iron batons.
Struggling to breathe,I watched as Emma’s eyes flickered between moments of clarity and madness, locked in a battle for control with the entity inside her.
The officer shouted,“Let her go right now, or you'll regret it!”
Emma’s expression grew frenzied, her grip tightening.“You want me dead?I’ll take her with me!”
My face turned purple,vision fading.
Then Emma suddenly let go,gasping. She gave me a deep look and fled.
No one dared chase her,and no one could keep up.
In the blink of an eye, she was gone.
My heart sank, and I blacked out.
When I regained consciousnessin the hospital, the officer and doctor were relieved to see me awake.
“Are you okay?”
Ignoring the question,I asked,“Where’s Emma?”
The officer hesitated.“We don’t know.She's vanished without a trace.”
Her child’s power was beyond imagination, evading even the police.
They asked what was happening, and I told them everything—from Emma's initial plea for children to the present.
They were horrified.“So,she’s carrying a time bomb!”
Worse than that. After today,I doubted even I could force an abortion.
“With only one embryo left,if it’s harmed, the child will be born. Then,no one knows what it’ll become.”
After discussing with the police,we issued a public alert to every household, urging everyone to track Emma.
The mule clan objected.Their leader stormed the station, demanding we retract the order.
“This is our long - awaited child! How dare you target him!”
“He’s the only hope for our clan’s revival. If you don’t cancel this,I’ll camp out here and cause chaos!”
He flopped down on the floor, refusing to move.
The officer and I exchanged glances, ignoring him.
Finding Emma was the priority, not his tantrum.
Her child was a hidden menace, and no one could predict her next move.
As the days turned into weeks, my anxiety only grew.
Finally,one day,the police picked up Emma’s trail.
