Chapter 38 THE SHOCKING REVELATION!

The police station received Franchesca's call before the killer got into their house.
About the mystery caller who called Atty. Galiego at 11:42pm, He is the police on duty the moment Franchesca called to their station and asked them to help her. He wasn't able to complete the call when he had to go to the comfort room because of stomachache. So, he needs to end the call because he was the only police that time and no one can take charge of it. His companion went outside to buy foods for midnight snacks that's why they don't know that the policeman on duty used the telephone.
"Sorry for the inconvenience Atty. Galiego. I called you to tell something about the victim before the crime happened," the police apologized.
"Franchesca, the victim was able to told the police on a phone call that she had received death threat a while ago. Her last words, "Please send policemen here in our house, l'm begging you! Save our family" her voice sounds very frightened and stated their address," the policeman stated.
"I know it's been a week; I am so sure that my statement will help you find out if Mr. Jones really killed his wife. I thought of this not just once, not just twice but many times. She called here in our station to ask for help. The policemen tried to save them but it's too late. I received the phone call from Mrs. Jones but I decided to assign other policemen to rescue her because I have an urgent duty that moment. The victim wasn't able to tell me who wants to kill her maybe because of some reasons," the policeman explained.
"But maybe because her body is trembling with fear including her hands, she wasn't able to tell the police who wants to kill her the night and I guess she accidentally touches the red button symbolizes "end call" and the phone fell downstairs but she forgot to pick it up when she saw her so called 'nephew' and hugged him so tight, that's why she didn't saw the killer coming closer to her and from that hugging position, he attacked the victim at the back," Atty. Galiego concluded.
"Thank you for your cooperation Sir, this may help us win the case," they said and leave the police station.
When they were near at Atty. Galiego's house, from their position they noticed 5 people waiting outside the lawyer's house. They walk as fast as they can to see those people.
The moment they get nearer to them, their faces look so familiar to them. Atty. Nicdao and their four (4) friends are waiting for them.
"Hey! What are you doing here by this time?" Vhiann asked them.
"We want to talk with you guys. We asked Atty. Nicdao to visit you before the judgement of the accused Mr. Jones," Dave said.
"Visiting us? We want to rest now, we don't entertain people now. We are tired the whole day," Adam replied.
"Atty. Galiego, is that the way you treat your visitors?" Atty. Nicdao asked with insulting face.
"My young detectives are right. We need rest for tomorrow's battle of the truth. But if you have to tell us something very important then my house is open for you," Atty. Galiego answered.
"Then why don't you open your house and let us talk about important things about the case," Atty. Nicdao said.
They all entered the house of Atty. Galiego, he turned on the lights, he offered their opponent team to sit down.
It's already 1am when they entered the house to talk about something. Atty. Galiego sat down in his favorite sofa and Atty. Nicdao sat down in the opposite sofa to face his best friend.
On the other hand, Dave, Terrence, Kiarra, Kesiah, Vhiann, Adam and Hannah go straight to the dining area and sat on the chairs there.
They were all shocked when Atty. Nicdao stands and get his gun in his suit and pointed the gun on his best friend's head. He warned the young detectives and asked them to stand, put all their hands up. They were asked to fall in line horizontally.
"I thought you were my best friend Galiego, but you wanted me to be punished in jail and stay there until I die. I treated you like my own brother. I am here to please you and beg you to let me win my case against yours," then he laughed like a crazy man.
The young detectives were all shocked.
"Is that his plan?" Dave asked. "I thought he will just go here to wish his best friend luck."
Adam is near the table, he gets his phone on his pocket when Atty. Nicdao is not looking at them. He pressed his phone's recorder to record what Atty. Nicdao will say to Atty. Galiego, he quietly put his phone on the table, no one noticed what he did, just Hannah.
Oh come on my dear best friend! Your face seems so scared, wanna die now? he laughed out loud while going round at Atty. Galiego while the gun was still pointed on his head.
"Why are you doing this? Do you really want to kill me? Then do it now!" Atty. Galiego said.
"You are the reason why I became like this! Your whole family deserves to die, you still don't get it? Let me tell you the story when it was started. You told the media that my dad killed your family but he doesn't, instead he saved you, the one who's always in the news, the one who was named "notorious killer" it was not my dad. You made my life miserable bro. Many people are still thinking that he was the notorious killer until I lost my father years ago because of you, but the real killer is enjoying his life freely in this world. My dad was a good father he didn't kill anybody, he was just a simple man who wants simple life with his two sons. Vincent and George, until his last breath his looking for you, he saved you Vincent," he said in a low energy tone.
"He saved you from the notorious killer!" Atty. Nicdao shouted.
"You are blind, I was there when the killer left because dad stopped him. He was about to kick the door of your room to kill you but dad fights against the killer. He successfully made the killer run because of fear when dad got his gun. The real killer abandoned your house with many dead bodies because my dad came to save you," Atty. Nicdao exclaimed.
"That man is your dad? I saw him, he tried to kill my dad," Atty. Galiego answered.
"You didn't see the real killer when the crime happened because you're inside the room and when you go outside you see my dad trying to save one of the
members of your family, he tried to save your dad but you thought he killed them," he explained while crying.
"You're the one to be blamed. The Galiego Massacre is always in headline of the news and beside that headline is my dad's face, YOUR DAD'S FACE. That sketch was according to your description of the killer," he cried out louder.
"He tried to take you with us but you run away from us after we saved you from the real killer," he added.
"What are you talking about?" His tears flow on his face. "What do you mean, he's my father?" Atty. Galiego sheds tears while asking.
