He realized that he was at the middle of his two best friends, between a good man to his wife and his soon to be child and a man he can't believe should not be trusted now. "BETRAYAL" is just a short word but for him the most painful word when it comes to friendship.
"Atty. Galiego, what will be your decision? Who among them will you save?" Vhiann asked.
Atty. Galiego answered, "The one who deserves it, but doesn't mean to leave the other one behind"
"So, what's your plan? I'm still wondering why he killed the mother of his son, the love of his life," Hannah wondered.
"The answers to our questions are here on Mrs. Jones phone," Adam showed them the phone they might have conversations here before the crime happened. "Before Hannah and I went outside, I decided to charge this phone secretly. I can't open it because it was empty batt that moment and because I know this phone may lead us to the real killer, here let's check what's on it," he explained brilliantly.
"If Mrs. Jones's phone fell down on one of the steps of their stairs, then, she wasn't able to delete messages because she was attacked by the murderer," Adam added.
"Maybe the murderer didn't notice the phone because he was in rush to escape and hide after his first attack to the victim," Hannah said it while looking them.
Luckily, Mrs. Jones phone doesn't have any lock so they were able to inspect it. They checked on the phone's gallery. There are some albums there, they looked into it one by one slowly. Until, they reached the last album "My first love" they saw pictures of cute bouncy baby boy. Videos of the baby every step of his life's journey. From the time he was a new born, when the baby reached one (1) year old and started to talk and walk and so on...
After that, they checked her contacts, the messages and different conversations are seen including her last conversation to her so called "nephew"
Very suspicious right? How can a five-year-old kid can text with someone knowing that he can't read or even type words to say. By this, someone is doing that for him, of course his father. These are their messages to each other.
Franchesca: Hey baby! How are you?
Nephew: I'm good mom, I'm not sick. Can I sleep there and be with you the whole night?
Franchesca: Your uncle is here now, he might suspect us if you slept with me. He just got home from work.
Nephew: Franz and I were now on our way in your house. Do something about it, or else I will tell him the truth.
Franchesca: Don't do that! Let's talk about it first please? I will do something about it. He'll became brother soon to his little brother. Our son will understand it.
Nephew: No! Maybe Franz will like to have a little brother but not me! Do something to abort that child. After all, your pregnancy stage right now is too hard to handle and a crucial stage in pregnancy.
Franchesca: Are you crazy? This child in my womb is mine not yours. How dare you say to abort my own child? I can't do aborting my child, not now and not at all.
Nephew: Let's make it this way so that your husband will not suspect you. Tell him that while he is on his workplace, you got slide accidentally in the bathroom. You weren't able to call him because you left your phone in your room. Someone brings you to the hospital, just pay someone in your area there to tell your husband that he/she brings you to the hospital even if he/she doesn't.
Franchesca: You're insane! Kill me first before I'll do that to my child.
Nephew: Is that what you call me because of that child? Crazy? Insane? Don't you dare asks for help and call your husband or police or else I will kill him brutally and I'll follow you and your child.
Franchesca: Don't you dare go here with Franz. I will call the police...
They stopped reading messages when they heard something a sweet voice coming from a little girl somewhere "Hey Attorney you have a phone call!", "Hey Attorney you have a phone call!", "Hey Attorney you have a phone call!" The lawyer's phone call's ring tone.
The lawyer laughed hard on them when he saw the reaction of the young detectives on their face looked so scared. "Hey! Chill. That's only my ring tone when someone is calling on my phone. You all looked so scared. Wait, I'll just have to take this," he put the phone on the table and touched "Loudspeaker" so that they all hear the voice from another line.
Atty. Galiego answered that phone call, a man told him that, "Good evening attorney, I want to inform you that FRANCHESCA called here in the police station", then the caller end it up.
After a minute, the air comes into the opened windows and touches their skin, the curtain dances so wild.
"OMG! Is FRANCHESCA visited us this midnight? So creepy!" Hannah and Vhiann covered their eyes.
All of them felt like there's a spirit inside the house.
Even though it's dark outside and the air touches their skin like hair-raising, terrifying feeling. It's so creepy and so scary, they go outside and they get the car altogether. They went to the said police station and decided to look for the police who called them. When they finally reached the station and ask who received Mrs. Jones phone call at 11:42pm. All the policemen in the station told them that no one of them used the telephone after 8pm.
"But the number called on my phone was registered as your police station number," Atty. Galiego showed them the call he received from their station at 11:42pm.
If not the police on duty in the station called Atty. Galiego, who called him?
