"That's something you'll have to ask him. I don't know why he slept with her exactly but I know that he loves you for who you are Royalty. You're kind, honest and fun. Everyone loves you Royalty."
I went quiet.
"Nico, I lied to him about Jasper." I turned around and looked at him
"What?"
"I told him I didn't have a boyfriend when I had Jasper."
"Why'd you lie about something like that?"
"Because I didn't want him to leave me."
Damanico went quiet and I soon knew why.
"The both of you have been lying to each other the whole time. Don't you trust him? Apart from the fact that he's got a mafia image to keep up, don't you trust him?"
Damanico was yelling at me by now and I knew he was right.
"I-I..." I stammered not sure how to answer
I loved him but did I trust him? Love and trust go together Reign. If you love him then you've got to trust him!
There was another knock on the door and by then a tear had started to fall down my face. Neveah walked in and stopped. She sensed the tension in the room and looked at Damanico who was looking at me.
"Royalty, he told me to tell you something for a reason." Damanico said to me and I looked at him while trying to brush away the tears "He's giving you a choice. Once Cardinal is caught he's going back to his mafia in America. You have a choice; you can go with the mafia and remain in it forever or you can go back to your life in Miami."
I looked at Damanico in shock.
They're going back to America?
"I told you he has another mafia and that is in New York City." he went on "The choice is yours and he's not forcing you. You can stay with him or go back to your previous life Royalty. Either way I won't leave you. Follow your heart Royalty and do what you think is right."
Damanico got up and walked out leaving Neveah with me and a little confused.
"It's about the move back to America, right?" she asked
I nodded and wiped my tears away.
"Damanico's right." Neveah softly said opening the door "We can't force you. Do what you think is right."
She walked out leaving me to myself and I sank down on the floor.
What am I going to do?
Xavier's POV
I sat on the railing on over the balcony looking out onto the sea. The gentle sea breeze blew through my curls and I watched as the seagulls went out for their early fishing trips. The sun had just risen and the sky was still a little pink. I heard the glass door to my room being opened and I turned around as the boys walked in. I had already given the files to Felix who snuck it into a downtown police car while they were on patrol and they've been hunting the city for a while, forcing some of the mafias to lie low.
"What do you want?" I turned back to the sea
"Want to talk about it?" my brother asked as he sat on the floor
"That's why you have friends Xavier." Jianan opened the big packet of chips "We're here to talk about the problems we have and help each other move on. Now talk!"
I shook my head as a small smile betrayed my will and I turned around and joined the boys on the floor.
"You lied to her?" Alex asked opening another packet of chips and handed it to me
"A shit ton of lies." I answered taking the packet and looking inside "Besides the shit with Jennifer to solve, I've got to deal with the clearing up of a million lies."
"You had to lie." Jianan shrugged "How else were you to get so close to sleeping with such a hot chick?!"
Chrissy slapped him.
"You're not helping Jianan." he folded his arms and Jianan shrugged again
"That's why I'm single, no woman stress." he took a bite of a chip "I'll settle down when I'm twenty and ready to look for wife material but for now, I'm enjoying the last years of unlimited pussy."
"JIANAN!" Geovanni and Cristiano slapped him and I actually chuckled
"Oh J." I shook my head at him and he grinned
"What are you going to tell her Xavier?" Geovanni asked "The reason why you took her or the fact that the tables turned and you're chasing after her?"
"Geo I don't know." I ran my finger through my hair "She confuses me sometimes. I want her but at the same time I don't want her in the mafia."
"That's what love is." Cristiano snatched the packet from Alex "It's full of confusing emotions at first then it straightens out when you know what you want."
"How'd you survive five years with Mirai?" I turned to him "How'd you stay loyal to her and not go sleeping around then claiming to protect her?"
"It's about Jennifer, isn't it?" Jianai looked at me "You're blaming yourself for breaking up with Royalty?"
"Well it's practically his fault." Alex said flatly
"Alex!" Geo slapped him "You're not helping him feel any better."
"At least he's telling the truth." I rested my back on the railing "At first I thought that I was protecting her from Cardinal by having an affair with Jennifer. I thought it was right but now I'm regretting it. She's been suffering from the last four months and it's my fault. I wasn't planning on hurting her and I hate seeing her sad."
"Xavier," Chrissy looked at me and I turned to face him "do you really love her?"
"She's everything to me Chrissy." I answered "I don't want to lose her."
