"This better be good Pierre." I took a sip as the girl ran their fingers up and down my chest and over my neck while one of their feet was over my lap.
The room was big with chairs in a ring with the couch at the head. From my position on the couch only half my body was seen as the rest was hidden in the dark shadows of the room which had dull lamps. It felt dark and for those who came for the first time it sent chills down their spine as they never know what I look like unless they've seen me before or I reveal myself. The room was always dark as it had no window or door and was air conditioned. All of the private business of deal and selling took place here.
"What've you found?" Geovanni asked from his position in Savannah's lap
"Information on why Cardinal really wants Royalty." Pierre answered
"Why?" I asked letting the girls unbutton my shirt and run their hands on my abs
"Apparently Damanico's father had a deal with Royalty that his family would protect the Lemeires no matter what." Pierre said "Cardinal got jealous of that and killed Damanico's parents and Royalty's father. Royalty's mother took her and fled to America. Cardinal wants Royalty to finish the job he started sixteen years ago with her parents. He would have killed Damanico but he found interest in the boy but he wants Royalty dead to finish his deeds. He wants this mafia so he could have more forces and get to Royalty faster but since she's here he wants her dead and the mafia to be his."
"And he's using Jennifer to get to me?" I asked already knowing the answer
"Si." Pierre answered
"She's so dumb." I chuckled "What'd we do about her now that we know everything? My acting skills are running on thin thread now."
"Well we could take Cardinal down now." Jianan suggested "Lucario wasn't that hard so how bad could Cardinal be? Like father, like son."
"We all know Lucario is a runway and his take down could have been a set up." Chrissy joined in
"No exactly." Aless put in "Lucario could have been the easier one as he is the one to gets what he wants and could have another plan. We may have fallen into it already. What Lucario wants he'll get at any cost."
I took another sip of champagne while the girls popped the other bottles.
"I think we should wait a little longer before striking." Geovanni said "We have two time bombs in our court and if we play one wrong the other could blow. Firstly we're trying to capture Cardinal with the high possibility that Damanico had Royalty. If we act to fast he could tell Damanico to do something and if we go after Royalty then Cardinal would do something that we least expect."
"Point taken." I swirled the drink around in the glass "I want Royalty in one piece along with this mafia. We've lost a lot already and any more losses are unacceptable."
The boys nodded and I dismissed the meeting leaving my girls alone with me. I then called in Melodious.
"You called Maestro?" he asked entering
"Yes." I let the girls refill my glass "Keep an extremely close watch on Jennifer. Do whatever it takes to get loose information on Cardinal."
"Si." he nodded
"You can go." I dismissed him with a wave
"What would you do when you find him?" one of my girls, Tara, asked me when Melodious left
"I don't know but I won't kill him." I answered truthfully deep in thought "I'm not a fan of spilling innocent blood."
"Then hand him over to the police without a clue." the other, Allison, offered "He's wanted by them too. Let the state hold him and his men and you can sell the girls making back what Cardinal stole."
"You're a smart girl." I gave her a sly grin.
She giggled and kissed my check.
"Maestro trained me to be a bad girl." she said and Tara laughed "Our Mafia Devil is waking up and Cardinal has no idea who he's dealing with."
"Correcto." I chuckled with a dark cloud in my eyes and danger in my voice
I watched him as he sat down next to me at the table for dinner one night.
"What are you thinking Royalty?" he asked me
I looked up at him as his green eyes stared at me with concern.
"Nothing." I lied and turned back to the pasta I was eating
"Don't lie to me Ro." he turned my head back to face him with his index finger
"I was just thinking about him." I replied looking anywhere but into his eyes "I miss him Damanico. I want to go back and try to make up with him again. I want to be back in his arms with him whispering how much he loves me in my ear. I want him Damanico."
Damanico looked at me softly and I turned away from him again.
"Royalty-" he started but I cut him off
"Jennifer ruined everything." I said before getting up and leaving my dinner half finished "I still love him."
I went up to my room and threw myself on the bed.
