I went to Chrissy's room to see if he was there. I opened the door and looked around.
Not here either! Where on earth did he go?
I found something and all the acting I did for the last month paid off. I just needed Chrissy to pull it off. I was about to close the door again when I stepped on something and I looked down. It was a note addressed to Chrissy without any name. I opened it and read it fast.
She slipped herself up without knowing.
"Silivo!" I called to him and he came immediately from around the corridor
I walked to meet him with a sly grin.
"She told you everything?" I asked standing in line with him
If anyone passed it would look like I was walking past him but we were actually talking. He was facing one direction and I was facing another.
"She talked to me the day when we were given holiday." he answered "She was planning on drugging you."
"I know." I said "I found the blue powder in her jacket pocket. I knew something was fishy about her sudden wish to stay here. She's working for Cardinal?"
"Si Maestro." Silivo answered "He wants the mafia and he's using her to get it."
"She's such an ass." I chuckled "She thinks I'm under her spell but I'm not. Never trust the boss of a mafia. Find out more about her plans and I'll keep up the acting."
"She's a real dumb girl when you really check it." Silivo grinned "Any girl who knows you well would know you were faking it and take the hint long ago!"
I laughed.
"Have you found anything on Royalty?" I put my hands into my jeans pocket
"Not much but we have a feeling that Damanico has her but we don't know where." he answered
"Keep looking for her." I whispered "I want her back here and safe in my arms once all the drama with Cardinal is over. He doesn't know that he's playing with and a the devial and he's about to unleash the beast in me."
Silivo chuckled and we both walked off in separate directions.
With Royalty out the way thanks to good acting it makes it easier to use the mafia to full extent without worrying about her getting hurt. After all the drama I'll go look for her and bring her back. Good plan Xavier! The Mafia's Devil is awakening again. Doesn't Cardinal know about my demon? That's what makes me the mafia the ace!
I went off to find my brother and found Neveah coming back. She stopped when she saw me.
"Where were you?" I asked and she looked at the floor
"Out for a stroll." she answered and I knew she was lying
I walked up to her and I spotted something red on her shoulder. I brushed her hair aside a little and she shivered under my touch.
"You were out with a boy." I told her running my hand gently over the spot "He's given you a nice hickey Neve."
She went red and looked at me frightened. I chuckled and bent down to whisper into her ear.
"Hide that from Chrissy or he'll go ballistic." I said softly "And don't stay out so late. I'll cover you if I can but make sure you don't run into trouble."
She relaxed and nodded and I smiled down at my little sister. I bent and kissed her cheek.
"Ti amo." I walked off and she giggled
"Ti amo." she smiled at me and ran up the stairs to change before Chrissy saw her in casuals
I found my brother and a girl outside under a tree flirting.
Doesn't he have a girlfriend?
"Hate to interrupt but can I borrow my brother?" I asked and they turned and looked at me
"Sure." she smiled and left the two of us alone
"What's up?" Chrissy asked "Found anything more on Jennifer?"
"The acting's paying off." I said "With Royalty not here it makes it easier to use the mafia. She won't get caught in the middle of all of this but the other trouble is that she's missing."
"True." Chrissy agreed as we walked in the garden "She won't like to see you when you're a mafia. The nicer you say something the more dangerous it is."
I laughed.
"I don't mean to scare her and sooner or later she'll see that side of me but I don't want her to see it yet." I said "We've got a lot of information on Cardinal all we need to do is find out where he is and get him."
"Then we have to look for Reign." Chrissy continued "I have a feeling Damanico has her."
"So do I." I said as a cold sea night breeze blew through the garden "I'll find her after and make it up to her."
"You love her, don't you?" Chrissy stopped and studied me for a while
"I've never felt like this with another girl but every hour that she's not with me I feel lost." I answered softly "I want her back. I want to make up with her and kiss her and tell her how much I love her. I want her back in my arms. You have no idea how much I love her. I just let her go for a while so I didn't hurt her and she just disappeared."
"If you love her that much, then hurry up and find her." Chrissy grinned at me "Don't hide anything from her. Let her know why you really left her."
"If she takes me back." I looked at him "I lied to her about so many things then just slept with another girl behind her back and lied to her about it. I don't think she'll forgive me so easily."
"Try your luck." he stuck his tongue out at me "She might just come back. Now let's go. We have a meeting to attend to."
