Keith woke up and saw an empty spot beside him. He sat up in a panic and stormed out of his room.

'Did I act too much last night? Did she got mad and leave?'

'No...no...no! I can't lose her!'

He ran towards the kitchen where she usually goes in the morning and saw her cutting vegetables.

Keith breathed out in relief as his heartbeat slowed down.

He quickly walked towards her and hug her from behind. He exhaled her smooth fragrance. Vale was startled at the sudden hug and relaxed when she saw that it was him.

"God, I thought I lose you again." he admitted.

Vale sighed before turning around and hugged him back. He wanted to stay in the nest of comfort that she brings to him.

Forever.

They stand and hugged each other in silence, listening to their heartbeats until they heard a click.

Dylan looks at them, grinning from ear to ear with his phone on his hand.

"Perfect!" he looked at the photo on his phone.

Keith shot Dylan a playful glare, and he walks away, rolling his eyes at them.

Keith looked at Vale and smile.

He kissed her on the cheek before he ran away. Not before he heard her mutter something like ‘gross!'. He chuckles and heads to his room to take a shower.

Dylan can't believe what he saw. They're hugging each other as if they are one. As if they need each other in their life. As if they never want to let go of each other. Their attractions to each other are extremely strong.

'Who am I to ask? It's too obvious to all of us. They're just too damn ego to confess their love.'

"Earth to Dylan!" he was snapped out from his thoughts when he heard Jake's voice.

"For love's sake, Jake. Do you want me to die from a heart attack?" he cried out in exasperation.

"My pleasure." he smugly retorts.

"Do you want to spar with me?" the horror on his face made Dylan smirk evilly.

"No, thank you. I wish for my face to be kept intact. The ladies wouldn't be happy with a battered face." he said while grimacing making Dylan rolled his eyes at him.

There was silence before Dylan spoke his thoughts out loud.

"I can't believe it." he muttered.

Jake who was sitting beside me and had his eyes on the Tv turned his attention towards him.

"Believe what?"

Dylan took his phone out and show him the photo of Keith and Vale. Jake chuckled looking at it.

"Believe it or not, I bet they'll confess to each other if one of them is close to losing their lives in a war."

Dylan furrowed his eyebrows.

'Is it possible?'

"Have you heard about Keith's family dinner?" he asked.

"Yeah, I wanted to see Vale's reaction when Keith's mother asked him to marry a girl on her choices. It'd be fun." Jake chuckled.

"Wait, do you think Keith will bring her with him?"

"Yeah, he already shows his feelings for her. Can't you see? I bet he doesn't want to let her go anymore."

"You seem too excited, man," Dylan stated.

"Shut up. It's nothing..." Jake scratched his neck and look away from him.

Oooh.

"Don't lie to me. It's about Mitchell, Keith's little sister, right?" Dylan asked, a smirk forming on his face.

Considering that they are Keith best friends, they are invited to the family dinner.

Jake has taken a liking on Keith sister, Mitchell.

Dylan sighed. He doesn't want to die alone.

Caleb has feelings for Nancy.

Brett's in love with Lexy.

The two ego lovebirds in the kitchen don't want to admit their feelings to each other.

"Dylan!" Jake shouted near his ear.

Dylan jolted and smacked the back of Jake's head.

Hard.

Jake rubbed his head as he glared at him.

"Seriously, man? What got you so distracted?" he shouted again.

"You." Dylan rolled his eyes.

"Why am I distracting?" he grinned.

'Oh no. You didn't.'

"Why don't you confess to Mitchell?" he backfires at him.

Jake's grin dropped off his face.

"Dude, I don't wanna die yet." his face was as pale as a ghost.

"You need to confess to her. Heard that she likes someone in her high school." Dylan smirks evilly at him as he stood up and goes back towards the dining room where the breakfast is almost ready. All of them are already there.

He walked and sat beside Vale, earning a glare from Keith. Dylan raised an eyebrow. Jake sat beside Caleb.

They eat silently, knowing that Vale doesn't like talking when eating.

Need breakfast? Follow her rules.
