Jaw clenched, he looked very angry. But not at her this time and somehow it made him look attractive to her. His eyes were dark and dangerous, glaring at the men around the table.
It surprised her how quickly they followed his orders as if they were afraid of him. Good thing she wasn't the only one. She actually felt better now that no one's staring at her, making her feel less nervous.
Most of all, she was kind of glad he's the one who made her feel this way. She shook her head. No, she shouldn't be thinking he was being kind to her! He locked her in this mansion! He wasn't letting her escape, too!
What else to say to prove he's a monster?
A large hand suddenly grabbed hers, stopping my fingers from fidgeting. She looked up to meet his eyes, full of different emotions. His much larger warm hand covered her little hand and she felt tingles all over her skin.
Her stomach felt funny as she felt her cheeks heating up. A smirk came up on his face, as if he knew how she felt with just that simple touch of his hand. She tried to ignore the way he was rubbing his thumb over her skin.
Ugh, why was he making her feel this way?
"You look beautiful, baby doll."
Her face reddened even more. She just knew it.
"Thanks," she mumbled shyly. "You, too."
He looked amused and she mentally facepalmed herself. She probably sounded stupid. But he really did look beautiful. His eyes. His cheekbones. His jaw.
Even his white shirt hinted at his perfect arms and muscles. Something about him really made her feel uncomfortable. She ignored what she was feeling and they began to eat soon. There were many foods to choose from on the table.
She saw how they ate like hungry animals. Like the men they were, craving for something more. It was like nothing could satisfy them. She, however, wasn't that hungry. She could only eat a little then she'd feel like she was already pregnant or something.
"Not hungry?"
She looked up at him and shook my head. He pierced a piece of whatever it was on his plate and showed it to me. "Here, try this."
She shook her head again.
"Just eat it," he insisted, his tone letting me know he wasn't going to let her get away from this.
She sighed and took a bite. She chewed on it for a few minutes and a moan escaped her lips. It was delicious. She licked her lips for a moment and his eyes zoned over her little action. She quickly took a tissue and covered her mouth so he looked into her eyes.
"You should stop moaning like that," he stated, almost in warning.
"I'll moan whenever I want to," she replied nonchalantly.
He glared at her then. Why did it feel like she was enjoying this?
"You best behave or I'll spank that little ass of yours," he warned.
Spank? Now, he was just being a tease. He wasn't really going to spank me.. was he?
"Excuse me, but my ass is not that little," she snapped. She certainly believed that it was her only asset. He laughed at her and it sounded so merry.
"I don't think so," he commented, looking at her with dark eyes.
"Luna," someone called.
She turned to look beside her and saw a man with brown hair and green eyes. Again, she wanted to say that her name's not Luna but she guessed it didn't matter. She was about to get away from here anyway.
"I'm Beta Edward," he introduced himself. "It's nice to finally meet you."
"It's nice to meet you, too," she replied, smiling, even though she didn't know if she should call him Beta or Edward. She guessed both would suffice.
"How do you find it here?" he asked.
"I.. I don't know." Honestly, considering the way she began her day here, she didn't really want to think how she was going to express how she felt.
He chuckled. "I know this isn't a good start but give him a chance."
Instantly, she looked back at the Alpha and she saw he's talking with someone else. It's like they're arguing about something.
She sighed. "I hate him." She really was confused about how she felt about him. She didn't understand the strange feelings she experienced.
"He's not a bad man."
She glared at him and she could say he looked taken back. "He's not that good, either." Why else would he take her here? What was so dangerous that she couldn't go home and be with her father?
He was about to say something but the sound of loud clinking broke their conversation. She looked away and saw a man standing up. Everyone's eyes were focused on him. His loud, firm voice boomed around the room, "I offer this toast in honor to our Alpha," then he pointed to her, "and to our Luna, his future wife."
He spoke the word "wife" as if it was foreign and she sat there beside the Alpha, shocked and speechless.
