"What are you saying?" Anastasia spoke with confusion. She couldn't stay here with him. She had plans for herself and for her future. She wanted to be with her father. She wanted to go to college. She wanted to have a better job.

"I'm not giving you a choice," he stated seriously. His strong arms tightened around her so that she was pressed firmly against him.

"Let me go," she hissed through gritted teeth. But still, he didn't and she gave up. She surrendered in his embrace. Soon enough, she was finding herself falling asleep in his arms. The next thing she knew she was lying down on the large couch at the corner of his office.

Why did she feel so tired?

She sat up and stretched out her arms. She could see he was sitting behind his desk doing something. She wondered what he was doing.

Soon as she stood up on her feet, his eyes darted towards her. Seeing his stare on her bare legs, she instantly pulled down her shirt, shifting uncomfortable on her feet.

  "Still sleepy?" he asked.

  She shook her head.

  "Hungry?"

She shook her head again. He narrowed his eyes at her and she looked away. The bookshelves at the corner of the room quickly caught her attention. Decisively, she walked over there.

There were business and management books. She took out one, opening a random page. It seemed interesting enough to satisfy her boredom so she walked back to the couch and sat down.

She flipped through pages and pages until boredom consumed her. Her eyes momentarily looked up and stared at him. He was a handsome man behind that desk. She thought about how sexy he'd look if he was wearing a tux.

How could someone so mean look so handsome like this?

His eyes instantly caught her staring at him and she blushed, looking down at her book. From the corner of her eyes, she could see him standing up from his seat and walking towards her.

She kept her head down until he was standing in front of her, towering above her small figure. She looked up innocently at him and he leaned down, putting an arm beside her head.

Hovering over her, he lifted her chin up and gazed at her, his eyes tainted with hunger. For a moment, she thought he was going to kiss her then and there.

But then he stopped himself as if someone called him. His gaze lowered down to her parted lips as he rubbed his thumb over the bottom.

"Stay here while I sort something out," he said huskily. She nodded her head in submission even though she badly wanted to ask where he was going and what he was going to do.

She closed her eyes as he leaned down and kissed her forehead. Pulling back, she watched him leave, closing the door behind him. Knowing how possessive he could be, he probably locked the door so she couldn't escape.

Sighing, she looked down and continued to read the book. Soon, the doors opened and a familiar girl walked in. Her thick brunette bangs casted over her eyes. She bowed down before her, a tray full of different fruits and foods placed on her hands.

She placed it on the coffee table and asked, "Are you hungry, Luna?" she asked.

Her name wasn't Luna but whatever. Anastasia took one grape from the tray and put it in her mouth. She looked up at the maid and smiled. "Do you want one?"

The maid shyly shook her head.

  "What's your name?"

  "Jenny."

  "Nice to meet you, Jenny."

  "Nice to meet you, too."

Anastasia took another grape and popped it in her mouth. "Do you know where he is?"

She looked down at her feet and shifted uncomfortable. "You mustn't ask this kind of question, Luna."

  "Why not?"

"These men are brutal. I mustn't give information. Their secrets are forbidden to be revealed. The Alpha punishes those who disobey him."

"Why do you call him Alpha?"

"It's his title as our leader. He is known for his great strength, intelligence, and power."

So was this some kind of a mafia? She could feel fear creeping through her bones as she realized this. But come to think about it, she hadn't seen any guns since she was locked in here.

  "What place is this exactly?"

"A place for beasts," she answered. "But they're not as brutal as you may think. When I was lost in the woods, the Alpha found me and saved me. I owe my life to him and in return, I will serve him faithfully for the rest of my life."

Anastasia looked at her as she spoke. Her eyes shined brightly as she remembered her memories and something flickered in her mind.

"You love him," she stated. It wasn't a question.

Jenny's eyes widened as the words registered in her mind. A tinge of pink covered her cheeks and she bowed down her head in embarrassment. "I'm sorry, Luna."

"You don't have to say sorry. I just.. I don't understand how he can be as merciful as you think he is. He's been so mean to me lately."

"He's always been cruel," she stated sadly. "But with you, he's different. It's a rare sight to see."

"How is he any different?" Anastasia muttered in disbelief. "He took me away from home and now he's threatening me if I leave him."

"He's not going to give you a choice. When he took you here, your fate was already sealed. You're his and he'll never let you go."

Confused, Anastasia looked at her, begging to hear more.

What was she trying to tell her? Was she bound to be locked here forever? Was she bound to be with him? Be his prisoner? His sex slave?

  "I don't understand."

"He will marry you, Luna, and you will be the mother of his children."

She gasped, covering my mouth. She shook her head as light tears swelled in her eyes. This wasn't what she wanted.

"I don't want to marry him."

A shade of sadness flashed over Jenny's face. "I'm afraid you don't have a choice."
