"I don't know. They gave us a few hours to deliver the money, and if we don't they'll release more videos to the media." She explained. She was so scared too, the video evidence was too much and might send them to jail.
"This is Anna's doing." Mack suddenly said with a frown. He hasn't forgotten how easy it was for Noah and Anna to destroy them the first time. They may be doing this again to hurt them, but why was Anna suddenly after them?
Why did she want to destroy them so much? Is she still jealous that Nari and him are back now. He had seen the way she looked at him the last time they had met, if she wants him back she could just ask and he'll be willing to give her anything.
Maybe Noah's no longer enough for her. He knew she would come crawling back again.
"I'm talking to you Mack, why do you say that?" Nari yelled a little and he was back to reality. He hasn't stopped thinking about his ex since the day he met her again. Anna looks different now and more appealing than she did back then. He regrets everyday why he let such gem go.
"She confessed herself to having evidence against you and your parents. If she went to the asylum herself. It's obvious isn't it?" Mack shrugged. Now he has discovered the reason for her sudden outburst, he would have to handle it himself. He would need to speak to her privately.
"So what then should we do?"
"I'll talk to her and ask her why she wouldn't leave us alone." Nari shook her head, she was yet to believe Anna would do such. The hackers gave them hours to provide the money else more that video would be posted.
"We can't wait till you talk to Anna Mack. We both know she'll deny it and not accept any proposal. And what if it's not Anna? What is we get distracted and they release that video to the media?" Nari was shaking as she thought about it.
She's a known figure so obviously the video is going to get viral, and when it does, she'll be arrested along with Mack and his parents and then her life is officially over.
She would never let that happen.
"So what do you suggest we do? How do we raise such amount in a short time?" Mack asked. It is inhumanely possible to come up with a hundred million in a few hours. Most people can't even make 1000 in a day. The demand was too high, did they think they pick money from the streets?
"Mother talked about reaching the hundred..."
"Nari, don't even think about it. We can't steal from her yet." Mack shunned the idea immediately.
"But she'll never know, it'll be like old times, like a robbery. We could higher a few people." Mack shook his head at her words. It was too risky, of they steal from Kate, she will never trust them anymore. The Sui's family wealth will be gone for good.
"Mack think about us, think about your parents. We have no other choice and we have less than 5hours to come up with a plan." The door finally opened with Kate walking in. She had been up all day writing and sending letters to the royal family to at least give her their properties back.
There's no way they added an extra hundred million and have demanded she paid back in 24 hours if she wanted her properties back. Kate was going crazy already, she had no idea what to do or where to start from. These people were playing with millions like it was nothing.
It used to be nothing to her before she lost everything she had. Making money wasn't easy at all. She would have to bury Grace and her grandfather quickly to be able to raise more money, just Incase she doesn't reach the 200 million mark.
"What's going on here? You look hideous Nari." Kate stared at both people.
"You look a mess mother." Nari responded wiping her tears.
"Are you two fighting again?" She looked between them both. Nari wasn't in the mood for relationship questions, her life was in the line now. She had no idea how Mack is so calm about everything.
"We're not mother." Kate found her way to the couch. She was exhausted from her work too. Nari was right, she did look a mess. Maybe she should go out for a massage today, or may she should call the family together for their first family meeting so that they can start speaking about the burial at hand.
"We'll be having our first family meeting today, get ready we're inviting everyone." Kate suddenly said to them and they both nodded and started walking away. Both Nari and Mack had a huge problem to think about anyways. Family meetings are the least of their trouble.
Anna was and Noah just arrived at their destination when a text came in. It was from her aunt Kate about the first family meeting for Grace and her grandfathers burial.
"How interesting." She smiled.
"What is?"
"We're having our first family meeting this evening for the burial arrangements."
"Then we'll go together." Noah declared. To him, Anna isn't safe staying alone with those people. They're monsters and deserve each other.
Anna didn't argue, she wouldn't even want to go alone anyways. Both people stepped out of their car and headed inside the large hospital. It was a mental Asylum, but a better one.
It looked more like a normal hospital, there weren't any mad people moving around, everyone was indoor.
