They were in trouble, whoever is after them have too much evidence against them. The person wants to destroy them finally. Nari walked past Kate who was oblivion to what was happening. Kate has yet to speak to anyone since the previous day.
She was still on her appeal letter to the royal family. She thought maybe if she kept sending the letters to them, they'll finally pardon her. But what Kate did not know was that, the letters she had sent were being sent directly to Noah's dispatch bag and thrown into the trash can.
The royal family were no longer involved in anything that has to do with the Sui. He still had the seal, that is why he could still make real letters.
When Nari arrived in Mack's bedroom, she realized he wasn't around. He has asked her before to release a live video debunking the rumors and that he was going to meet a few people that could help them clear the images of the internet.
He has done the before and he was sure he could do it this time again, but little did they know what they were up against.
"Are you still there Nari Sui." Nari saw the computer screen in Mack's room suddenly turn on and she flinched. She hadn't expected for it to automatically turn on, what's going on.
"What do you want from me? What have I done to you?" She cried out.
"All we need is money, a hundred million is enough to seal our mouth and delete all of the images away from the internet. It will appear as though it was never there." She read through the screen.
Where the hell is she supposed to get a hundred million from, these people are demanding too much whoever it was.
"This is absurd. Where do I get such amount from?"
"You have today to provide the money, else we will be releasing more video evidence." The screen suddenly turned off and all of the devices in the mansion were working again. It's almost like the confrontation never happened.
Nari moved her hands through her hair, wondering if whatever she had experienced was real or a dream. She's never seen anything like it in her life before. Was this a new system now, is this what people do?
While Nari wallowed in her mysery, looking for the next way out of the trouble she has caused, "Is it done?" Came the soft voice of a woman from the other end. It was Anna, she was just heading out with her hubby to visit her aunt Grace and grandpa, as Noah had promised when Lola's call came in.
"Yes ma'am. It's done. You need to have seen her face." Lola laughed and Anna smiled. Without asking, Lola sent a video of Nari pulling her hair when she screamed Anna's name. Anna smiled as she watched the video play. She didn't even need to do much and Nari was ready looking like a mad woman.
This is what she wanted, make them run mad the same way they have turned her aunt into a mad woman. Grace has done nothing to harm anyone, all she's cared about is herself and her family. All she ever wanted was a peaceful family, yet somehow, the universe decided to bring together the worst people that would harm her aunt Grace.
Anna has decided to punish each and everyone that has hurt her family. She was done playing nice, it was time to let them know she's more than just a pretty faced model who has no experience about life. They will never see her coming again just like before.
She could be as dangerous as anyone when she wants to. Kate's doom is also near. How perfect her plans were coming into place.
Mack who had left the mansion in search for help returned empty handed. The images on the media were still available, people were still talking about it. Though whoever it was didn't release more photos of Nari's family again, the ones they have released were still available.
As Mack walked into the Nari rushed to his side. She has been waiting on his return since the hacker called. "Mack." Nari cried out tugging his sleeve. Her hair was a mess, mascara line already dragged down her eyes since she has been crying for a while. She looked so hideous, like a monster.
"What happened to you, and why didn't you release a statement like I said?" Mack asked. He has been waiting patiently all morning for her statement to at least stop the rumors but Nari did nothing. He even tried calling many times but for some reason he couldn't reach her. Maybe if she had released an official statement, things wouldn't be as bad as it is now.
Nari has never been know to play with her image, so he couldn't understand what was happening.
"Releasing a press statement will do nothing Mack. I don't think Anna's the one after us." Nari said. Anna isn't as smart as whoever had hacked all of their devices at once.
"What are you talking about?"
"I think we've been hacked Mack, someone more serious is after us."
"Explain" Mack demanded clicking his tongue in annoyance.
"T... They have the video of us the day we took my mother to the mental asylum. The asylum had camera's we didn't know about and now whoever is doing this had more than enough evidence about us. They threatened to release the video to the public." Mack moved his hands through his hair. That is why Nari said Anna isn't the one after them, to her Anna is too dumb to come up with such idea...
