"Don't worry, continue, I don't want to disturb you. I'll see you two at home tonight." Vincent quickly ran out of the office. He was overjoyed to see his grandson and wife settle their differences. Anna has just made his day, he knew those two can never be inseparable, they were meant to be.
How could he be so stupid to think his granddaughter in law would cheat with another man? He must be getting really old now to have such thoughts. Vincent sighed as he walked away.
"I have your car washed elder Vincent?" Paul announced. When he left Noah's office earlier, Paul hadn't expected to see Vincent arrive in the organization too, he had tried to stop the man from interrupting his boss and wife but the man sent him on an errand instead.
Vincent asked him to inspect the washing of all of the company cars and to make sure they were counted and packed in order. Washing cars was far from being Paul's job, but he still had to do it.
This old man. Paul had no idea why he's the one Vincent attacks all the time. He's hated him since he became Noah's pa, and things hasn't changed since then.
"Whatever it's not like I need it anyway. Make sure you have a good night rest Paul. I will be having the same myself." Vincent tapped the man on the shoulder as he walked away. At least his grandson knows how to be a man and not a boy anymore. If Noah continues like this, he would have countless little grandchildren around.
Nari and Kate were still attending to a few more guest when a visitor walked in. From his appearance and attire, one could see he was from the royal family. Seeing the royal family arrived in here mansion, Kate got up with pride to talk to the man. It's not everyday the royal family get to visit people.
The women around stared at Kate with curiousity.
"A letter for miss Kate from the royal family." The royal servant said. Kate signaled the housekeeper and she took the letter from the announcer. The man left almost immediately since his job was done. Kate had just hired a new housekeeper to keep their mansion in order so we they would be having guest all week till her grandfather and Grace is buried.
They now had enough money to afford a comfortable lifestyle for the time being. Kate quicky snatched the letter from the house keeper. She has been expecting a response for hours now since she sent the letter of appeal. She hopes the royal family would respond to her quickly and give her her money.
She couldn't live without it. She needed to go back to it, she needs to have her money again. Her life was perfect, there was no one to tell her how to spend anymore.
Kate opened the letter quickly and read through it. She frowned reading through the letter.
Rejection?
The royal family were rejecting her proposal? Kate's hands shook as she read the letter.
"Dear Kate Sui, sending an appeal to the royal family will not compensate for the harm you and your family have caused. We may have demanded for a hundred million, but now it may have doubled. You would have to wait until we are ready to lift your punishment. That would be, whenever we are ready.
How dare they? How could they reject the money? They said the only way she could get everything back was to pay a sum of hundred million, and now she has the money, they can't give her?
They are threatening to add more money to the debt. What family acts that way? Was the royal family getting broke too?
Kate felt so frustrated, this is not how she thought her day would go. Why does things have to be this way?
Nari who noticed her mother's mood change walked up to her immediately. "Is everything alright mother?" She asked calmly. It was because most of the guest were begining turn curious about what has made Kate so angry all of a sudden. When the letter arrived they have been curious, but as she read the letter, her mood has changed so badly.
"They rejected the offer." Kate said to her and Nari frowned. This was not good. They needed that money more than anything now. Just as Nari was still talking to Kate, her manager called.
"Miss Sui, hurry online and check what is happening. We have no idea who gave the media images of your family, but they are all trending online." The man said and hung up. Curious Nari hurried online to see pictures of her family trending everywhere. People had began to question whether these people in the photo were her parents or not and to crown it all, the news was spreading like wild fire.
Nari have spent so much money trying to cover up these issue, there's only one person responsible for this is, Anna. But why did she release the photo? She promised she wouldn't mess with her family if Nari didn't mess with hers.
Nari made a call immediately, "Take down news trending online about me immediately." She said. She was losing it slowly, her whole body was vibrating, Anna has done it, Anna had stepped on her tail again.
"We're so sorry ma'am, but those photos are viral photos and cannot be taken down." The man hung up. Mack who had seen the news rushed to her side. He knew something like this will happen sooner later, what's why he had told her to kill her parents too in the beginning.
"You'll have to make an official statement tomorrow, the photos are already viral." Nari clenched her hands into a fist as she stared at him. She would also have to come up with a pay back plan for Anna. Anna will never know where it hit her.
