Chapter 421 MISSING FAMILY 1

1033words
Now in one of the public cars Mack was headed for his destination, the barber shop. He looked so unrecognizable that it was easy for him to blend with the people without getting noticed. The last few months have been nothing but short coming for him, Noah Declan has turned him into something undescribable. He had a lot of chatching up to do with his life and career.

He couldn't believe this forever. He would need to get his life back on track again, somehow.

He would make sure Noah pay. He was now a free man, it means he could finally pull some hidden strings to get his life back on track again.

Mack moved into a local shop where he would get his hair done. Nari had given him the spare money she acquired from Anna and the Declan's. From what he heard from his wife, Noah Declan was affected by the whole royal family thing too, meaning, he is as broke as anyone but can still thrive because of his family.

It's been months since he had seen his parents, Mack could only hope they are in good hands. His father hasn't been in the best condition, and if he knew he wouldn't return after he left that night, he would have left more money for them. The money he left for them wasn't enough to cover his father's drugs and medical bills till this point. He couldn't even begin to imagine how they were fairing without him.

After getting his hair done, Mack found his way to the slum his parents live in.

While he tried to blackmail Nari back then, he had saved a couple of millions in his account. Since he isn't involved in the royal family, he's certain his money is still intact. Today, he would finally move his family to the Sui's old home where they would live together. At least they had better roof above their head, thanks to his drastic decision that day.

As he moved on the street quietly, he recalled the first time they had moved in here. Their neighborhood had been bad and smelly that day. He couldn't even stay for a moment because of how bad it was, they literally had to hide everyday to leave just to be free from paparazzi and nosey reporters.

It was indeed a time he wouldn't want to revisit. But whatever Noah thought he did to him, had made him ten times stronger than he was. To Mack, if his mother hadn't been a big bully back then to almost everyone she was close to, she would never suffer the way she did now.

Her friends and family would have been there to help them. But she hasn't listened to him when he told her about it.

As he walked into the house, he found it empty. His parents were no where to be found, not even a trace of their properties were in the small room where they spent together anymore. Mack wondered what had happened to them.

Did they move out?

But where will they go to? This is the only place they have to stay, he had told them to wait till he arrived.

Did something happen to them?

Did someone try to harm them?

Mack stepped out of the house, "Mack Yong, is that you?" A woman approached him. She's one of the women his mother had made friends with while they were here. Veronica had been more humbled since they turned broke, and had learned to mingle with the people she felt were beneath her too.

"What happened to you?" The woman looked at the once fat young man that had turned I to something else after disappearing for months. She could recall how much Veronica cried everyday for her son to return. She talk about a rich man being after them and holding her son hostage.

"Yes its me. I haven't seen my parents around." Mack glanced around the small looking house that looked like it had been abandoned for months now.

"Your parents moved out a month ago Mack. Henry turned so sick that poor Veronica had to return him to your family house. It's unfortunate we haven't heard from them all this while. Where have you been, your mother hinted something about you being missing." The elderly woman asked.

"Mack, you should be careful and help your parents like always. You're all they have now..." Mack didn't wait for her to complete her words as he started walking away. His father couldn't be that sick could he?

Of if anything happens to his parents, Noah Declan is going to pay with his. He's the reason his life is like this right now.

After a few hours driving to the outskirt of the city, Nari and Kate finally arrived at the mental asylum. With the information Nari had just told her, Kate hoped Anna hadn't discovered Grace and the general has been in the me tal asylum. It would be trouble for her.

She had no idea why that neice of hers keeps destroying g every plan she has. She could decide to do something nice and in the next moment, Anna Sui has somehow destroyed her plans. It happenes everytime.

Their car came to halt at the entrance of the building and Kate and Nari stepped out of the car. The asylum was as busy as always, the yard was filled with different deranged and mad people moving around. A few of them hung around, others where just sitting down and doing nothing while a few moved around.

Kate wasn't comfortable around, but she knew she needed to be here to confirm something. Her eyes moved around the whole place as she tried searching for a glimpse of Grace or her father around.

She would be relieved if she sees them now, even if she would still demand their execution, at least she knows no one would know about it.

She has decided to declare them missing forever after killing them. There's no need looking for dead people anymore and the earlier she announced their death, the better it would be for everyone.
