Seeing how everything turned out in their favour, "We need to change our course for tonight." Kate whispered to her daughter. They had come here in hope to change everything Anna did through our the day, but they just realized they couldn't yet take out their only source of income at the moment.
Anna's presence here is the reason they hadn't been humiliated and had been vindicated by the family. Even if being around the Declan's was the last thing she wanted, Kate knew she needed them now more than ever. She should settled things with them, rather than being the bitter witch Aunt.
"Thank you so much so much Evelyn for sticking by us through that little mishaps." Evelyn smiled politely. After everything she's heard from her father in law and Noah about this woman, the continuous humiliated she had caused her son in the past because of his love for their daughter. She would want anything to do with Kate, but Anna and Noah are still married. And in other for love to reign between them, their family needs to be together to matter what.
What's a little adjustment they cannot make in their heart for a devil.
"It was nothing. No one has deserves to go through whatever Rose had done to you. That's straight out bullying. It's obvious Anna has tried her best to cover up your tracks for now and it's best the public doesn't know whatever has happened in your family." Evelyn said.
"I also heard the whole royal family issue did affect the Declan's." Kate asked. She has been meaning to ask for a while now. It was impossible for a family like the Declan's to be affected. She knew her neice was lying, Anna is just a selfish manipulative demon that lies and decieve people.
"Whatever has happened has happened. All we should worry about is the future of our children. Isn't that right?" Evelyn smiled. If Noah hadn't downloaded everything to them a few days ago, she would have never known how everything was going. Though he has asked them not to get involved with Kate and that he was dealing with her himself.
Her punishments was long overdue. He wanted to make it as natural as possible.
"You all have been so kind to us. Even if you know my Anna is as useless as a fetus, you still love and want her around. It's something we would never find in any family." Kate said but Evelyn didn't say a word. She wondered if this woman was truly Anna's aunt or relative. To be so bold you constantly remind them of her neice's infidelity, it's almost like she's the happiest person to be blessed with such news.
Was this why Noah and Anna decided to keep their pregnancy a secret for now?
Just what type of family are the Sui's?
Why was there so much conflict and animosity?
"Children are gift from God. Everyone would have their child at the right now." Evelyn maintained her composure. She was no longer comfortable with the conversation about her daughter in law. Anna is a very nice girl, and if the Sui's cannot value her importance up to this moment, then the Declan's can as well adopt her and make her a full family member. But she would never let any soul harm her daughter in law anymore.
Anna is a Declan and should be treated and respected as such.
"But you know what I mean. She was blessed with it, but so stupid to lose it because of selfishness..."
"It was an honest mistake that could happen to anyone. You're Anna's Aunt and you should know the full detail of the story, unless you're siding with the enemies now?" Evelyn turned fully to her and Kate laughed softly.
"Side with the enemies?" She giggled. "I would never do that Evelyn Declan. I speak for the truth no matter what."
"Even if that truth are all lies and could jeopardize your one future of never leaving in the streets where you belong?" Evelyn asked her anger showing now. Never in her life has she seen a family member turn against another.
"What are you talking..."
"You speak the truth yet you're the one that had brought this shameful predicament upon your family because of your selfishness."
"You have no right to judge anyone Kate. You should be kissing my daughter in law's feet everyday for considering you her family. Without her, my family will never bother associating with individuals like yourself."
Sowing the seeds of discord amongst families was her specialty, but it seems the Declan's aren't as easy to decieve like she thought. Kate bit her lips, she has let her hatred and jealousy for Anna get the better of her once again.
Her neice has also bewitched them too with her pretentious nature. She has tried to pretend for Anna. She has tried to like Anna like a family member. But she couldn't. There's no way songs of praises could ever leave her lips about her neice. She would always do something to discredit her in soany ways.
"I'm so sorry Evelyn, I didn't mean it that way." Kate smiled looking around, scared that someone else would hear their conversation. Now she knows she couldn't change the heart of these people against her niece. Why would they love Anna so much?
"Such distasteful words from your lips about your family. For the short time I've known your daughter, all she's ever done is being the best version of herself to everyone."
"I'm so sorry if you had misinterpreted my words Evelyn. I love Anna more than life itself, I would never do anything to hurt her." Kate started with her victim card again, like always.
"I've just been so worried that you all might hate her for being barren."
"And who told you that?" Evelyn asked.
"Who said my daughter in law is barren? Who started such rumors?" Evelyn asked. This is one of the rumors she wanted to stop tonight as well as the other rumors about her family and tonight she would have to address them all.
The Declan's are not just any family that should be played with. She would never let anyone play in the face of her family, ever again.
