1327words
It all looked suspicious that up until now there is no news in the press about any campaign going on anywhere.
Nari really wanted to visit her family for the first time in years. She wanted to see how they were doing after everything that happened between them. She had abandoned them in there for so long, but they do deserve it. After everything her father put her through without her mother being able to say a word about it or even try to stop and protect her.
He had set her up with hoodlums in the past to rape her for the money he owe. He always use her body as payment method till she met Mack. Mack had been the one to save her, he had also been the one to help her silent her stupid father and lock her mother up.
Though her mother did nothing,Nari was mad that the woman was just too powerless to protect her. Her life growing up was hell, she couldn't have imagined a more better life than the one she's had with Mack Yong. Even if the Yong's maltreated her in some way, it was better than whatever it was her parents had done to her.
Visiting that asylum again had reminded her of a past she had learned to forget. A past she had buried long ago. Maybe visiting that asylum is not a good idea, maybe she should let them rot in there, after all they deserve it.
Nari had planned for revenge for years, and the revenge, she did get in the end. They would have to rot in there till the day they die. Her siblings would have been exempted if only they listened to her. But everyday her brother threatened to expose her to the world of she died release their parents. She couldn't jeopardize everything she has worked so hard for, so she locked them up too.
"I can't believe Rumero wouldn't let me see my family because of some stupid guest." Kate started walking across the room as she placed her bag on the couch. For her, today has been the worst day yet. She would never wish to experience a day like this any longer.
"What is money that I haven't given him before. He insult me to my face because of money." Kate said.
"The money we clearly do not have now mother. But not to worry, we'll have that and more when Mack is free. Let us hope that stupid neice of yours will agree to free him tonight." Nari said. She wasn't in the best mood anymore and couldn't watch her tongue as usual.
"You seem to be in the worst mood since we arrived. Are you okay?" Kate asked and the girl nodded immediately.
"I'm fine mother, you have nothing to worry about. I'm just exhausted from the days stress that's all." Nari said with a smile.
Both people were still talking when they both heard noises coming from the front door. Nari's mood turned sour at who it was that had come to visit. They were both about to bark and pounce on her when they noticed a particular short figure behind his daughter in law. And another familiar figure directly behind them all. Lola. Noah's mouth peice.
Everyone avoided the girl like plaque. She could be working for Anna as her manager, but that's Noah's minion. The girl with the boldness to destroy them the first time. People often misunderstood her looks, but her slender figure was just a disguise.
After Noah explained a few things to his grandfather, Vincent never saw the Sui's the same again. He couldn't even think of why people like these existed. Why would someone fight their family member over petty things that could be resolved?
Kate's hate towards Anna is diabolical and she needs to be stopped before more damage is done. This woman has inflicted so much pain on his daughter in law from what he's heard.
All Vincent wanted to know how well Noah was punishing them, and from the look of their appearance, his grandson was doing an okay job.
But he didn't like the fact that Noah is so generous with this money because with everything he's heard about Kate and Nari from Noah, he would have made sure they suffer more than they were doing now.
For two cunning witches, his grandson was taking good care of them pretty well.
When Anna said she wanted to visit to get Nari's hair samples, he had insisted on coming with her. There's no way he would leave his great grandchildren with the same people who happened to be present when he lost his first great grandchild.
"Anna, oh how I have been waiting for you to visit us." Kate rushed to her neice's side. She needed to put up a good act in front of her in-laws, especially at a time like this when she needs Anna out of their family for good. She needs to be the loving and caring Aunt to Anna, and then paint Anna as the ungrateful neice. The script just never gets old.
"I'm so sorry for not visiting soonest aunt Kate. We have a lot of preparation going on in the mansion for Beth's birthday party so I completely forgot about you too. How are you doing today?" Anna asked with the brightest smile. She understood her aunt's game very well now, and would beat her to it.
"Oh, we have been doing great dear. It is you who we should be asking that. How are you feeling, you don't look so good?" Kate said through gritted teeth. She just could not forget her jewels, Nari said she had seen Anna exchange them herself. It is is true then Anna deserves nothing but death at the moment. She wished more than ever to kill her neice with her bare hands.
"I've just been stressed all week aunt Kate, it's really nothing you should worry about." Anna smiled.
"For compensation, I asked Ashley to drop two beautiful gifts over. Did you see them?" Anna asked.
"Oh we did very well, Anna, that was so thoughtful of you. You know the best thing anyone can ask of is a neice like you, who would be willing to sacrifice everything at a time like this." Kate tapped her neice's shoukders.
"Things like this would have been avoided is that foolish person hadn't tried to play with the royal family. I wonder who that fool is, I need to hit them with this stick." Vincent raised the stick in his hands shocking the woman there. Of course he has heard everything that happened.
His grandson finally told them about everything, that is why they decided not to involve themselves with the Sui's at all.
"But why would a family member try to tarnish their image like this, just what were they thinking." Lola chimed in, as if she had no idea it was all Kate. Kate who was at the center of being scolded scratched the back of her head. She didn't like where these conversation was leading to. She would never take accountability for her actions, it was all Anna's fault.
Maybe if Noah didn't love her even after finding out about her barrenness, maybe she wouldn't have gotten so jealous to make drastic decisions.
"You must be Vincent Declan, Noah's grandfather?" Kate turned to the old man.
"Nari, get tea for grandpa, he must be exhausted from the long travel. You know you didn't have to come all the way here." Kate changed the conversation immediately, pushing her neice aside a little while she placed the elder on the couch.
