Nari came up with a plan. She decided that Christmas had to come early this year and then she would launch the new products she has been hiding for a while.
It was already all over the news that Nari was at one of the biggest mall in the country interacting with fans and gifting them. Her presence alone dragged the eyes of a few reporters and the media to the mall.
But her day dream was short lived when one member of her team showed her the news spreading online about her. She had noticed the people in the mall act somehow, a lot of women dragged their little children from her side and returned the gifts.
No one wanted to be associated with anyone tagged as a homewrecker or a boyfriend snatcher. What will children get to learn from such women, how to steal men?
Nari couldn't believe her plans being destroyed again. She had planned today through and through, how did that news suddenly come up again and why is everyone suddenly so interested in knowing about her personal relationship with Mack?
"I think it's time to leave miss Nari, before things escalate more than they have." Her manager walked to her side and she agreed immediately. She would pay for whatever she had bought for people and leave.
Today is supposed to be her day. She's meant to use the nagative press from Anna to launch her new product and bring her name back to the limelight. While Anna suffers in pain, she'll be elevated and happy. That's what today was about for her. It was such an important day.
Oh Anna Sui. That bitch is the person behind this right now. She had threatened her before, she said she was going to release something about Mack and she's done just that.
Nari clutched her hands into a fist. "Please everyone step aside, Nari has other needs to attend to at the moment." Her teams said as they started moving people aside for her to walk by. Nari went to stand before the cashier, she knew she had to pay for the things she purchased. It should be a few millions and nothing more.
The prices of items here were expensive, but anything to put on a show. She was tired of people calling her poor even if she has no money. She's as broke as a day old who had nothing to inherit. The Sui's have been the one covering her. Due to the negative news she's been involved with, brands have refused to work with her, that is the reason JK had threatened to drop her.
Nari was scared. Launching this product at a time like this was the best decision, but Anna had ruined once again. Anna is hellbent on humiliating her time and time again.
"How shameless, look at her go." The women by the side had already started their side comments about her. Once upon a time, she used to be the most loved person in summerlane, but right now, she had her fair share of the insults she caused to Anna on the daily. People genuinely hate her to the point she would most times for e online hate on Anna to make herself feel good.
"People like this should not be role models to our children." The other person remarked.
"What a disgrace of all women around the world."
"It is the audacity to think they can buy our hearts with money because they got some. What an insult to us."
"Celebrities like this should be band from Summerlane. So evil, so vile."
"So audacious." Nari couldn't stand their insults anymore so she passed her card to her manager to pay for her while she walked away. She needed to leave this place as soon as possible.
Before she could reach the door of the mall, she was stopped by the security men at the door.
"Ma'am, we just got an order not to let you pass through." One of the men stopped her.
"What is the meaning of this?" Nari asked the men standing before her. The two guards she was with were about to stop them, but they were outnumbered. The guards by the door has surrounded her like she was some criminal. She frowned, her anger already evident.
What sort of embarrassment is this? Did this people know who she is?
"Miss Nari, I've been calling for a while now." Her manager rushed towards her.
"What is the meaning of this?" Nari barked. She was already upset about the things the women said about her the news online about her wasn't helping at all. She was slowly losing her cool. Why does today have to be bad for her too? It's meant to be a bad day for just Anna, not her.
"Ma'am, the card. I... I think something is wrong with it." He whispered slowly in her ears making sure no one hears them. With the amount of reporters stationed around after the news going on online, they wouldn't want any more nagative news about Nari out again.
"What do you mean it's not working. Is this some kind of Joke, my card is limitless, there's no way it wouldn't work." Nari yelled at him. What sort of insult is this? Was that the reason this men had the guts to block her part. Did they think she really would steal from a place like this?
She was above stealing. Stealing here would do nothing for her and her brand. And to think she had blessed them with her presence and wanted to start her official business in here. Nari clutched her hands into a fist.
"Hello ma'am, I'm Ma, the manager here. I think we have issues with the card. Why don't we look at the card again?" A man approached her.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Nari laughed, her pride and ego showcasing itself. She had made sure to bring the limitless master card with her. That card belongs to the general himself, it can never decline. Even if the Sui's aren't as rich as the Declan's, they had their fair share in wealth. Embarrassment like this was far from them.
