This was the little idea she had thought about. No matter how much she didn't want to believe it, her neice is now way above her. She knows the only reason Noah is letting her off the hook is because of his wife. He would have destroyed her long ago, the same way he did with the Mongrel's.
The Mongrel's have now lost everything they work so hard for, for so many years. Noah wasn't the only one that came for them, his entire family had dealt with them from all angles for the embarrassment they gave Anna.
The Declan's don't play about Anna. They've never played about her and never will.
"Anna, I'm so sorry about how things have gone between us. Remember we weren't always like this, you used to be my favorite person." Kate said mindfully, playing with words like she always does. She would never believe if anyone told her she would one day beg her niece for forgiveness, but now is the time to drop her pride and do it.
Anna smiled at her Aunt's words. Did this woman really take her to be a fool? Kate Sui is not someone that wakes up and changes her mind overnight, she would never apologize to anyone if she doesn't want something in return.
"I was kicked out of your estate this morning by your husband Anna. Please say me well to him so that he would let me in. No matter what we're a family." She continued. Anna's eyes widened a little, she had been the one Noah ordered Lurch to escort out of his estate without a second thought.
She knows Noah would never disrespect her family members normally, but Kate has been more than a menace since the first day she met Noah. Anna has thought with time her aunt would learn to love her husband, but she didn't. Her hate for Noah only grew stronger.
She deserves every treatment she is getting now.
"Noah would never let someone like you in. And if you're apologizing because of Mack and Nari, forget it." Anna said. Nari will have to embarrass herself ten times more than the embarrassment she gave her. She wasn't a fool to be easily decieved by Kate, she could see through all of her aunt's tricks.
"Nari will do whatever you want Anna, I don't mind. That's how much we're willing to let go Anna. Let's start over again, let's make amends, don't forget we're a family." Anna said. Kate has done so many bad things to her before, she had done things that can never be forgiven. Even if she had asked Noah not to touch her family, she was hurt.
She wanted to make amends with them so badly too, but at the same time, she had to be careful with Kate. Everything Kate was doing looks so suspicious, Kate cannot have a change of heart in one day.
"Anna if you have time, let's meet and discuss some more so that you can see how genuine I am." Kate suggested.
"Not today, I'm busy for now. I'll see you some other time." At her words Anna hung up. She still didn't trust Kate but her family coming together again in peace is what she has always wished for. Maybe her Aunt had really changed. Maybe she doesn't hate her anymore.
She's willing to let Nari embarrass herself for Anna. Kate's words were too good to be true.
Still in her thoughts her phone rang again, it was Lola calling. Lee must have arrived already. She picked her purse and stepped out of the mansion.
When Anna arrived at the montel chosen for their meeting, she stepped out of the car in a nose mask. The last thing she wanted was paparazzi capturing her face, but JK was already ahead of her. They had already set out a few paparazzi that captured her even if her face was hidden.
"Thank god you're here." Lola sighed in relief when she saw Anna arrive. She had thought she wouldn't arrive in time. "You're very late." Lola added to see Anna smile. This was no joke, there was a serious meeting going on there and here Anna was acting like it is nothing.
"Better late than never" Anna said still smiling. She would not give Lee any form of respect, not after what he did to her.
"Mr Lee brought out the entire JK entertainment lawyers." Lola said.
"And my lawyer?" Anna asked.
"They're already in a heated conversation with JK, with how things are going, you might win the case." Lola smiled.
"Lawyers?" Anna asked and Lola nodded. She had never thought Anna would be free just like that. But this morning, Noah instructed his lawyers to attend the meeting in place of Anna. He had demanded to change the time a little so that they could handle everything before his wife arrives.
Since his silly wife wouldn't ask, he had taken matters into his own hands. A single person cannot fight an organization. Especially a big organization like JK.
"Yes, Eclipse has more than enough Lawyers to handle the case. They wouldn't want to lose the face of the company." Lola smiled. Noah had told her not to tell his wife it was his doing, else, she would kill him with scolding tonight. Even if he has everything under control, he still wants her to feel like she's in charge.
Anna smiled at Lola's words. If she knew eclipse would be providing her with lawyers, she would have never bothered herself with anything.
She walked into the conference room filled with men that looked like they had just concluded a meeting. She had no idea what had happened but the look Mr Lee gave her made her believe she had won the case. He had a deep frown etched on his wrinkled face.
This man, she despise him so much.
"You're free this time Anna Sui. Congratulations." Lee said when he reached her side. She couldn't believe it, and she didn't even have to do anything about it.
Her lawyers started leaving the room one after another, each bowing when they reached her side.
The conference room was now empty again and Lola appeared by Anna's side again, "I just got an information that Ava just applied for a modelling position at Eclipse." Anna turned to look at her, a sly smile displaying on her lips.
