Chapter 313 GIFT 2

Anna and Grace hurried into the mansion admist the loud scream they heard only to see Nari in the living room with Kate. She looked hideous and furious at the same time with what seemed like vomit on her dress. It is obvious the scream came from her, and by the look of her appearance, Anna knew something was wrong. She smiled at how helpless Nari looked.

"What happened Nari?" Kate asked placing the paper print in her hands on the sides stool as she gave her full attention to her daughter.

"The old fool spilled all of his food on me." Nari yelled showing her messed up dress to her mother. The maids surrounded her immediately, some with towels and others with basin of water to clean her body, but she didn't let any one of them touch her. Grace who just walked into the scene frowned at Nari's words.

She didn't like the way Nari address her grandfather as foolish old man. How dare she?

"Watch your tongue woman. You don't speak of my father that way." Grace clicked her tongue as she stared at the girl.

"Well Nari isn't wrong. Father is foolish." Kate turned to her sister in disgust.

"What are you doing here?" She finally asked. After the drama and disrespect from both she and Anna last night, they still show their faces here?

Anna had humiliated her before everyone including Channel and Ava.

As she stared at Grace, her eyes met Anna's and she frowned more.

She heard everything that happened. She was already so angry Anna wasn't among the ten men killed last night, how lucky to must have escaped. But not her next plan. She would never escape the next plan.

"Where else will I be Kate? Do you think I would let you take care of father after what I've just seen?" Grace asked back walking further into the mansion.

"The nerve to come back here after what you two did last night." Kate hissed.

"We did nothing Kate, it was all you. You brought the humiliation on yourself. Your selfishness will be the end of you." Grace barked. "You can't always have everything you want in life Kate. The faster you realize this, the better for you."

"Mother did nothing wrong Aunt Grace. She was only trying to make grandpa feel happy." Nari defended her mother.

"Don't bother explaining anything to them Nari they're not members of this family anymore." Immediately, a guard walked in and handed an envelope to Kate. Anna raised a brow, eager to know what was in it. It seems her package had not arrived in time, and had rather arrived now.

She smiled waiting for what she had actually come here to see.

"You have no right to decide who stays in this family and who doesn't. I'm as equally our father's daughter as you are."

"That's alright." Anna pat her aunt's shoulder. Grace is quick to get angry, sometimes, she fears for her health.

"What's going on Kate dear, we heard noises?" Channel walked down the stairs only to see Anna and Grace back in the mansion

"It's nothing, just trying to put some unwanted guest back in their place." Kate responded. She didn't stop Grace from stepping in because she knew it wouldn't be long before the woman would leave again or disappear again.

Anna and Grace left the others in the lounge and went to her grandfather's mansion to check on the old man. When they arrived there were maid and servants tending to the general. The general's eyes were barely hanging open, but he looks a little better than last night when Kate foolishly tried to embarrass her father.

"You can all leave." Grace announced and the maids and serving boys left the room. She picked the food being given to the general and started feeding.

"Poor thing." She muttered. "All of these wouldn't be happening if you haven't raised a monster father. I warned you but you wouldn't listen." Grace said calmly staring at her father. She had been away from him when all of these happened, there is no final word or anything from him. Just Kate destroying the last piece of company her father has and Nari squandering his savings.

This is not how she thought their family will turn out to be. Where did they go wrong.

"Anna." Grace called and he neice turned to look at her.

"I didn't want to say this before, but I have no choice now. The entire Sui's enterprise, the mansion, the businesses, the winery's and farms and estate all belong to your father." Grace said. When Anna's parents died, though the companies weren't yet established, they had agreed to grow the company for their neice as. A result of her surviving the accident, but they had no idea things would turn out like this.

She had wondered why Noah asked her about it before and then he openly told her he had seen the General's will and spoken with the lawyer the day the man was down. He knows Kate will try something stupid, especially with the new adopted daughter thing, so Noah had to do something else. Noah had spoken with the generals lawyer and the advanced man had confirmed everything written in the paper.

They all thought the general wouldn't make it, but now he did, Anna will have to take over under the impression that her father is no longer physically fit to handle the company and that the Sui's enterprise will now be joining the Declan's group. It's the only way their family can still stand. But before all of these is done, he has to eliminate the wrong people out of the family.

Kate's judgment day is coming soon. It's only so much she can do. When you play with the tigers tail, you should be ready for the ferocious bite that follows.

"What does that mean?" Anna asked her Aunt.

"It is time to be responsible like father always told you. If you don't take what belongs to you, Kate and Nari will steal everything a way from you and I wouldn't want that."

As both women talked they heard a loud scream again from the lounge, but this time. It was Anna's name being mentioned by Nari. "Anna!" Nari called, her voice growing louder, slightly above peach level. She was upset, so upset.

There's no need trying to fake her true nature anymore, Kate loves her for who she is.

"Anna!!!" Nari called heading towards the General's room. She had seen the photo of Mack. Her supposed husband looks like nothing but a jungle man and the image is all over the internet. People made fun of her and Mack's relationship, saying Anna dodged a bad thing when she left.

No one saw them as the power couple anymore, they just saw them as nothing. Anna has turned the media against her in many ways, destroying her career over and over again since the diamond show. The only image she had now, is that of being Anna's newly adopted sister, yet somehow, people still use that to mock her.

Nari was fed up. She was tired of everything.

"You should learn how to act like a lady Nari, you don't go around shouting at people so early especially before grandfather." Anna placed her hands around her chest as she stared at the girl. She has decided to act kind, even if she knows her Aunt tried to kill her, she would kill them with kindness still.

"You can drop the act now Anna, we already know what you did." Nari barked. "Why are you so hellbent on disgracing I and my husband. I thought you're married now, aren't you happy with your husband?" Nari asked playing the victim again.

"Buy I haven't done anything wrong to you and Mack since I got here so what are you talking about?" Anna asked innocently.

"Enough of your nonsense Anna, we've had enough of you and your antics. Let Mack go if you have nothing against him. Don't tell me you're still in love with him." Kate said as she walked in too along with her minions, Ava and Chan.

"You keep accusing me of having feelings for that boy yet you're the one that adopted his side peice and tried to kill me for her."

"How dare you accuse your Aunt of such Anna?" Chan asked. To her, Kate is a good woman and would never harm anyone. Anna and Grace on the other hand are the bad people that would do anything to harm others.

"She accused me of trying to kill grandfather before you that night and you believed her. Why can you not believe my words without evidence too?" Anna asked the woman whose words got caught up in her throat.

"For the last time, I have no feelings for Mack Yong and I already told you all what to do if you want to see him again. The clock is ticking, by tomorrow, the news online will be far worse and my punishment...". Her eyes met Nari's.

"Wouldn't be as easy as it is now. So make up your mind."
