Noah chuckled. His little wife thinks she's so sleek. He would deal with her tonight when they get back to the hotel.
Noah deeped his hands in his pocket as he stared at the boy with a crown on his head. The clicked his tongue. He should have known he was dealing with his cousin. The women around who saw him made strange sounds as he walked past them.
There is no one in this room that is strong enough to resist his beauty. Even men turn two times to look at him. He didn't need to do too much to steal everyone attention, as they all stared and wondered who he was. This is one of the reasons Noah doesn't attend parties, he hates when women gives him this kind of reaction.
The only person that never did this is Anna, which is why he had fallen for her. She's the only woman that treats him like a human, and not some demigod.
His eyes were on Damien and so was the prince's eyes on him. The smiles and giggles from the women standing around drew more people attention to them, wondering why they were all reacting this way, and then they saw Noah. Elizabeth smiled. She was seeing her favorite nephew again in flesh and blood. They had just heard Noah has recently won the richest man on earth title at only 27, yet he doesn't want it out yet.
Elizabeth wasn't surprised, he has earned everything he owns. Noah has several successful multi billion companies all over the world. He just has the key of making money and has been on top since. At this point, she doubts anyone would top him. Once the youngest billionaire and now the richest man title. She wouldn't blame Evelyn for always bragging about him.
Noah got to where the women sat and pressed his lips on his mother's cheek from behind. When she turned around, she smiled brightly. "You're here Noah." The other women's eyes twinkled as they saw him. Some saw him as a potential son in law, and others saw him as a potential sugar baby. To them, he's too handsome to be given to their daughters.
Noah found his sit next to his mother, but his grey eyes never left those blue eyes that stared at him either.
"Evelyn, how can you be this heartless? You never said you had a son this handsome." Evelyn blushed feeling really proud of her son. She didn't need to say anything, the world knows who Noah Declan is.
"For a man of your status Noah, don't you think you need a wife." The queen asked.
"Oh Noah already has a wife." Damien almost scoffed at this. He should have known this man was all too familiar to be an ordinary bodyguard. He should have known this is his useless bully of a cousin Noah Declan. The one that treated the palace like his playground and always bullied him.
Damien was a special child growing up, shy and timid even if one day he would rule. He was so shy that his father was scared he would never be able to handle the kingdom, but here he is.
"He does?" Elizabeth was genuinely shocked. She frowned at her friend for not telling her about this. How could they not invite her for Noah's wedding?
"I'm so disappointed in you Evelyn. How could you leave me out of such?" She said.
"I'm sorry my dear friend. I wasn't also invited to my son's wedding either." Evelyn explained. She had been equally shocked herself when Noah announced it. Evelyn hadn't been disappointed because Anna already bought her heart with the birthday gift she gave her. Flowers.
She loved the girl even before finding out she was a model. Anna is a likeable person, you have to be a devil to hate her. That's how she saw it. And right now, Anna has turned into her favorite person.
"I've forgiven you. Damien will be getting married soon anyways and you will be honoured." The queen said proudly. She then turned to Anna, "Anna my dear, when will you be returning to Summerlane, I would love to meet your family." She said.
"My family?" Anna asked to see the woman nod. Her eyes met Noah's whose grey eyes were already on her. This little woman gives him more stress than even his job. She didn't have to be this beautiful to attract the eyes of every man to herself. He wished he could just hide her away, but he can't. "How troublesome." Noah muttered softly.
"Yes, I would love to discuss a little thing with them. Things only adults can understand." Elizabeth said with the brightest smile.
"That's enough mother I'll handle the rest alone." Damien said cutting her. The last thing he wanted was for his mother to scare the girl, he wants their relationship to be as natural as possible, even if they would remain friends for a while. His eyes met Noah, both men throwing silent glares at each other.
Jealousy meets jealousy.
Power meets power.
A fight at who will get the girl, without one knowing she already belonged to the other. Damien is not a child to not know Noah has feelings for Anna, even if he pretends. It is either he's afraid of telling Anna, or she has rejected him before.
"It's nice to see you again Noah." Damien finally greeted his long lost cousin. It's been almost 14 years since they last saw each other and Noah seemed to have changed so much. "I didn't recognize you the last time we met, since you were playing bodyguard with your employee." He smiled.
"I wasn't playing a game cousin, I am her bodyguard." Noah responded coldly.
