When Grace told Noah she was leaving, he had set everything up for her to leave with, including arranging his chauffeur to carry her when she arrives. He promised her he would tell her neice about it and they'll be back in no time.
Grace wanted to see her father. She couldn't believe the general is finally awake. She wanted to know who had hurt him, surely, he must have seen the person right?
Grace hurried out of the car when she reached the hospital, she walked past the group of doctors and hurried into her father's room. When she reached there, she was greeted by the maid Kate has kept there to be with him, the doctor and his nurses.
They all turned to look at her the moment she stepped in. "Grace Sui, welcome back." The doctor said walking up to her.
"How's he?" Grace asked staring at the man on the bed with his eyes and mouth hanging wide open like he had just seen a ghost.
"He's stable, but there have been no improvement since he opened his eyes. He hasn't been able to say a thing or look at anyone." Grace walked up to him. She blinked her tears away as she stared at her father. His eyes were moist and his eyes moved to her direction the moment she was near. It felt as if he wanted to say something, but he couldn't.
"Maybe his memories came back fully and he was too shocked. Never in my career have I seen a case as this before." Came the doctors words.
"Will he get better." She held her father's hands. "He has been like this for hours, let's hope he gets better." Came the doctors words.
"I shall leave you with him for now, but should Incase you need anything, don't hesitate to call me. Your father is a strong man, he'll push through. He has to." The doctor started walking away with his nurses, leaving the room to only, Grace, the maid and her father.
The maids left the room, giving her madam space with her grandfather. She wasn't new to the Sui's family, infact she had been there when Kate struck the generals head with her makeup box. She's the same maid Kate has asked to lie against Anna.
She was hoarding so many secrets that it was eating her up. She didn't know whether to tell the truth or just not. The maid didn't know how long she could keep it in, maybe she should just run away. Go as far away from Kate and the Sui's family as possible. These wealthy families come with series of troubles, troubles the media isn't aware of and it's just so surprising because the people out there see them as holy people.
They see them as happy people, meanwhile, they're sadists.
"Father." Grace called the general gently as she wiped tears from her eyes. Everyday she regrets why she left the mansion, but she couldn't blame herself, the mansion had gotten too toxic for her to leave in. Everyday it is Kate finding a new means of destroying Anna or her career. Grace was fed up by it.
And the most annoying part was that her father did nothing about it. He let Kate do whatever she wanted to anyone without saying a thing. She just hoped he recovers quickly because right now, they have no idea who the culprit is, whoever it is might still be leaving with them. Grace stared at him.
"You should keep fighting father and wake up. Don't give up yet." The general squeezed his hands at her words and Grace got up from her seat. She couldn't believe it. She quickly pressed the emergency button and a few nurses rushed inside the room.
"What happened to him?" They asked staring at the old man.
"He squeezed my hands just now, I think he's coming back."

Nari and Kate finally arrived in Summerlane, "We're headed to the hospital. We'll talk about the other things when we get back home." Kate said to her daughter. As of divorcing Mack, she would never let Nari divorce Mack, that will be her punishment for even marrying that useless boy in the first place. She would never let people mock her and call her daughter weird for divorcing her husband.
It's enough that they mock her for never getting married and never having a child in her life. They mocked her when they heard she had adopted a grown ass woman to be her daughter. But Kate cared less. If she did care, she would hang herself to a pole and maybe die by now.
The chauffeur arrived at the entrance of the hospital and both she and Nari stepped out of the car. Kate walked inside the busy hospital and went directly to her father's room. It's been so long since she came to visit, it's not like she cares about Gabriel. All she wants from him is the announcement of his obituary. She just wants him dead so that she can move on with her life. Is that so hard?
As she walked towards the general's room, Kate saw the maid she kept standing outside the door. "What are you doing out here. Who's inside with father?" She asked.
"Uhm, madam, young ma'am arrived earlier and I thought to give her little time with the general." The maid said earning a glare from Kate.
"You were brought here to take good care of my father, and you leave him in the hands of strangers?" Grace who heard her sisters scream from the inside the room frowned. Kate walked in in fury only to stop in her track when she saw the general.
At first she thought he was taking his last breath, but when she looked closely, she noticed he was frozen at a spot. Tears began running from the corners of his eyes as she got closer. It felt like he wanted to say something but for some reason couldn't speak.
