"I want a divorce Mack, I'm not marrying you anymore." Mack panicked. This is not what he planned also, but a divorce is too much on him. He had played his part like she wanted, he called the man he knew and they promised him she would win.
Kate who held her daughter didn't know her eyes were wide open and mouth hanging open too. She couldn't believe what she just heard. Kate shook her head, a man like Mack could never be her son in law.
Channel who saw everything display walked up to Kate too to sympathize with her only to recieve a dirty slap from the woman. Kate was furious. First her daughter had lost the competition after all of the millions she spent and secondly, Nari is married to Mack Yong?
How did it happen? When did it happen? Why does God love to punish her this way? Nari had a bright future, why did she let herself be decieved by Mack Yong?
Immediately several men in military attire approached Mack and took him away under the order of Noah Declan. They were deporting him back to Summerlane where he belongs. Nari couldn't face the embarrassment anymore and she left the hall in shame.
Now the whole world knows she's married to Mack Yong because she had publicly exposed herself due to anger. This is worse than she had imagined. Nari could take it anymore. She felt like killing herself.
As everyone left Anna, Damien went to specially congratulate her himself. "Hi." He waved at her, dipping his hands in his pocket.
"Hi." Anna responded with a bright smile. She didn't like the way they left off but was happy Damien wasn't angry with her. As she spoke to him, she felt a strong piercing gaze from a corner and when she glanced at where the gaze was coming from her eyes widened. She couldn't forget Noah's words. He promised to kill Damien and give his head to her. And right now he was staring at them from where he sat.
Anna moved back a little, creating more space between them but she still maintained her calm smile. She wouldn't want anyone getting hurt or dying because she cannot stay away from them.
"I'm so sorry about earlier." She said to Damien.
"It was nothing. Your guard is over protective, which is not a bad thing." Damien said to see her nod. "Congratulations on your victory." He said.
"Thank you." Anna said.
"Alright for the final pictures." The queen herself said as she pushed Damien closer to Anna for their next picture. It was strange to Anna, but as always she smiled for the camera ignoring what has just happened. She didn't want to think too much about anything.
"After the celebration, Anna left the stage to change and prepare for the after party. Her clothes were ready and as always camera's and reporters were going to be in attendance. The press were ready to talk about her since she's the tall of the town.
Investors and top brands were all in attendance to speak to her and sign deals with her. But Anna had something else in mind. Today is Noah's birthday and she didn't celebrate it earlier because she has plans for him tonight. She couldn't ruin his first birthday while they're married. And she couldn't miss her after party either. It is mandatory that she attends the event.
"Congratulations Anna." Lola rushed to her side and hugged her. She had been excited too when Anna won. Though they had been so scared earlier about Anna winning, they were all still glad she did. She needed this win to solidify her position in the industry.
A lot has happened in just three days, but they were glad they came out successful.
"Let's get you ready for the party tonight." Lola said she couldn't wait for the party.
"We have your dress and glam team ready for your party." She said.
"Where is the party being held?" Anna asked. She needed to leave for Noah's party, she couldn't miss that for anything else.
"Our car is already waiting outside for the party. Do you have someone to attend it with?" Lola asked. She had forgotten to inform Anna about the change of event. The after party suddenly got another sponsor that changed everything to a masked party. Each diamond were to arrive with a partner to the event.
It turned into a mask party because it is stated that dignified attendees will be attending the event to party with Anna and that they would love their identity sealed.
Not just anyone can turn a party around at the last minute. All the attendees ran around looking for mask to wear just so they could attend the party. It is going to be for the books as everyone in Crownsville wondered who the dignified guest were. Are they the royal families? But they have nothing to hide. They were there before, why would they conceal their identity because of an after party.
Rumour had already started as people made speculations about the after party. Lola had her suspicions, but she wanted to believe it's not true. Yes, Noah is powerful, but is he that powerful outside of Summerlane?
She had seen how casual he dressed here and how no one noticed him except the fact that he's handsome and outstanding. But why would Noah change the party at the last minute, did she want to attend too?
Or has Anna caught the attention of a more powerful man? Oh it's going to be bloody and fun at the same time if she has because her boss will never let any man close to his wife. But what if the man is more powerful than Noah Declan?
Lola hoped it is only her imagination, be a use somehow, Anna has a thing of attracting trouble wherever she goes.
Anna and Lola arrived in her room, which had now turned into a dressing room. The bed and large wardrobe was now gone leaving a large dressing table, a few other faces and Ashley.
Oh if this people are in here, there's no way she could escape. Does that mean she'll miss Noah's birthday party?
