Chapter 265 HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY

They had passed this stage before, she no longer used to be ashamed of him. That side of her did come out last night but it was only for a few moments. He wishes more than ever she would regain her memory, at least they could both find out who had done this to her and his child.
"You have nothing to worry about my sweet girl, open your eyes." He watched her open one eye and then the next, till her blue eyes met his grey ones again. Both people stared at each other in silence for and then Anna took a step close to him.
"I... I'm not ashamed of you Noah." She confessed, stuttering even. She would never be ashamed of him, she was only scared of seeing him. Even if they've done unspeakable things a few times, she still wasn't bold enough to look at him.
"I... I just haven't..." He pulled her close to his warm embrace. He was stupid to try and force her. Maybe all he has to do now is something that would make her remember everything. The doctor said she had 50% chance of remembering everything and 50% chance of the recalling anything at all.
He hasn't been able to tell her everything the doctor told him. He hoped she would regain her memory quickly so that he could tell her.
"You don't have to explain yourself, I'm sorry I even tried to force you into something you don't want." Noah said stroking her back and she hugged him tightly too. As she hugged Noah, she quickly remembered something that had her eyes going wide.
How could she forget? She's been planning his surprise for days now. Everything that happened today made her forget. She contemplated whether to say it or let it go.
Anna pulled herself from his embrace and she stared at him. She placed her palm on both his cheek, a smile hanging on that lips of hers. "Happy birthday hubby." She said shocking the man who stood before her. Even he has forgotten his about his birthday. The last time he celebrated was at 18 and that's the same day he moved out of his father's mansion.
Unlike Beth who liked throwing extravagant party on each birthday, he did his solo. Most times with his family, other times alone in his room. He doesn't even acknowledge that day. But for some reason today's birthday seems special, because a special person has wishes him a happy birthday.
"Thank you." Anna pegged his lips. If she has remembered today was his day, maybe she would have granted his wish. How could she be so stupid to have forgotten such an important day?
She dropped her hands from his cheek and started fixing his buttons. It's time she learns to be a good wife because Noah is more than the best husband one could find.
"For today I'm ready to do whatever you ask, tell me what you want and it'll be granted." Anna asked.
Noah stared at her with a soft smile, "I want to see the crown on your head tonight." He smiled.
"Alright then, I'll get it for you." As they stepped back inside the room, they found it empty. Anna wondered where Lola and Paul have both gone to. She stared at Noah and both of them stepped out of the room.
"You're done?" Lola walked up to her. She had advised Paul to leave the room because they both wanted to give their boss and his wife the space they needed. She saw how flustered Anna was when she spoke to Noah. The silly things she did. Lola smiled.
She has seen so many people in love but her two bosses love was different. It was beautiful.
"Mrs Lacey is waiting for you to try out the dresses she made for your catwalk tonight. Can we go there?" Anna nodded as they started walking away.
They arrived at Lacey's fashion house, a two story building which looked so beautiful. She has her fashion houses scattered around the world containing all of her designs. As they stepped inside the building, they could see Lacey standing there.
"Welcome." Lacey said as she exchanged kisses with Anna. Her brand has seen the biggest sale since last night and she has been so busy with the orders. But even at that, she still made time to prepare a few clothes for Anna's runway tonight.
"I was lucky to pick to get the theme of tonight's show and prepare dresses according to it." Lacey glanced at Noah as she spoke. The man looked... Different. But dressed in a cheap casual attire that was not her taste, and so she took her eyes off him as quickly as it went.
She was disgusted by people who lack fashion taste, little did she know the man standing so casually before was not just anyone. Noah stared at the fashion house, to him her clothes were okay, but not up to his taste.
He didn't have a specific designer when it came to fashion, but he picked whatever he thought was good. As they walked through the halls, Anna could see workers cutting through a few pieces of clothes as she sued. They all looked so exhausted but we're still working anyways.
"We've had huge orders since the runway show and we have to meet up." She explained for Anna to nod. She was so excited she was seeing these things.
They arrived in a room containing beautiful clothes all sampled on a mannequin. Anna was in awe as she stared at them. But if they sent the theme for every designer last night, how did Lacey come up with something so beautiful?
