"Now, let us let Mrs Lacey announce her winner and list the prices." Laura said gesturing her hands for Lacey to take over. Lacey smiled walking over to the stage, she hugged Laura the moment she reached her and took the mic from her.
"When I got in here today and met this talented girls tonight, I didn't know which I would pick because they were all so good. But right now, I've made a decision." Lacey said.
"My winner for the runway and overall performance for tonight is none other than Anna." Everyone cheered for Anna. Those who watched from the live broadcast celebrated her, the others who were in the building celebrated Anna too. She was given a mini crown as given to Nari the previous night.
Nari and Ava couldn't hide their disdain for Anna. They have both tried to fake their smile, but they just couldn't. There's no need smiling. The thought of Anna being the next diamond irked Nari to the last. She knew she had to come up with a plan as soon as possible, because if she doesn't, Anna might as well become the next diamond.
For tomorrow's award, the public had only thirty minutes to vote for their diamond, Nari knew they weren't on her side. How would she gather enough vote in only thirty seconds to win?
She knew she had to do something to get them back on her side again. She needed something big to sway the public back on her side, a big scandal for Anna Sui. As Nari stood there wondering what next to do, her eyes swooped among the crowd till it fell on Grace.
She narrowed her eyes wondering what the old fool was doing here at this time. As she looked further, her eyes went wide. Noah Declan was present in flesh and blood and his eyes were on her. He stared at her like a predator about to finish it's prey.
Nari went stiff, she tried to draw Ava's attention to him but for some reason she couldn't move or speak. His eyes got her stuck to the floor. She watched him stand immediately with Grace as they started walking away. Only then did his spell leave Nari and Nari quickly tapped Ava.
"Ava look." She tapped the girl beside her but all Ava saw was the back of a man wearing black and that of a woman walking beside him. If one didn't see the little wrinkle on Grace's face they could mistake her for a twenty years old because of how petit and perfect her body looked.
Lola came to stand beside Anna as she congratulated him, so did Ashley who congratulated her too. Anna thanked them both and handed her flower over to Lola.
"Who was that?" Ava asked as she still started at the door the man walked through. She had no idea why Nari decided to introduce that man to her, is it the man she's chosen to use for the public sympathy?
"That's Noah Declan, he's in the country. He's here to see Anna." Nari whispered so that the other girls will not hear them as she dragged Ava out of the hall. Tonight would be Anna's celebratory party and it's obvious who would attend the party as a casual person.
She would give him a good 80% out of a 100 at how smart he was. Did he really forget she was a part of this competition and that she could expose him without lifting a finger.
"This is our chance to expose him." Nari smiled but Ava stopped moving and stared at her.
"You know Nari I used to think you were so smart. What is really wrong with you?" Ava asked. Maybe it's because she hasn't won and now it's affecting her brain.
"What are you talking about?" Nari frowned at her friends words. She didn't like the way Ava was talking to her like she was a child. She had brought up a plan which could help them destroy Anna once and for all. Noah Declan will never let his wife continue in the competition if his image goes out, neither will his family let him marry Anna if his image goes out. Nari thought.
She already has everything sorted out and didn't appreciate Ava's response to her plan.
"First things first, Noah can easily come out publicly to deny everything and level us as lairs because no one has seen his face before." Ava stated. It was true, the man has not been seen by anyone before, even she doubts Nari was telling the truth about Anna fucking the man. It could be someone else posing as Noah Declan.
Ava couldn't help but giggle at her thoughts. It would really be ironic and funny if Anna was sleeping with someone else and not Noah Declan.
"So what do you suggest we do?" Nari asked and Ava smiled.
"When the time comes." She said.
"Release the old news you have against Anna. Make the public turn against her and the other plan I have will just be an icing to the cake." Nari nodded. She quickly called her publicist the publish the news about Anna. The news she's been hoarding for days. The news that made the world turn on Anna. The lies she had spread around before.
While Anna was being congratulated, Nari's publicist quickly released the news as instructed. Nari stared at her phone and smiled, it's only a matter of time before the news goes around and everyone would hate Anna Sui again.
She couldn't wait to see Anna's reaction when she finds out. She had done the same thing to her, she had paid people to post old news about her, so it's time she pays back.
