"What are you talking about?" Ava asked, shocked at the revelation. She picked her skin to be sure she was hearing clearly. Chan too who was listening to Nari speak turned agape. She couldn't believe her ears.
Everyone knew the owner of Eclipse entertainment was Noah Declan. The most powerful man in Summerlane and one of the most powerful in the whole world. He isn't just a mogul, but the new king of the media. He controls everything there has to be about the media.
Chan immediately felt so jealous, so did Ava who was eying the man secretly. Though she has never seen him before, she felt like she could get to know and see him once she gets close to Anna and into Eclipse.
"I'm not supposed to say this but it's true." Nari said.
"Are you saying you've seen Noah Declan?" Ava asked and Nari nodded. She felt so jealous to Nari, it is every girls dream to meet Noah Declan. There have been so many tales about Noah and she believed all of it. She didn't know how to start asking Nari questions from.
"Is he everything written in the magazines?" She asked to see Nari nod.
"He is and beyond." Nari explained. Noah had charmed her the first time she met him too. She couldn't forget the day she heard his voice at the auction. She wanted the man that had bought such expensive jewel but she never knew he was already with Anna.
It irked Nari how good things always followed Anna. Everyone thought her life would be over the day she left Mack only to catch a bigger and better fish. Infact, the biggest fish in the sea.
"How come you never said anything about this or even involve the media. Nari so you know how much this would sell?" Channel asked her. Bringing out a news like this was hot cake.
"That man is not all Mr perfect like you all think. He would destroy me if I ever did that. Plus he just forced me and my mother to sign an NDA so that we wouldn't disclose anything about him and Anna." Nari rolled her eyes.
It should have been her who found Noah not Anna but there's nothing she can do now. Anna has taken a bigger portion of the cake but she won't let her have it for long.
A knock was immediately heard by the door and Chan went ahead to open it. When she did, she saw Laura standing before the door, "Laura Craft." Channel greeted blocking the entrance so that Laura would not see what they were doing.
"You have five more minutes before the show starts. I gave Nari grace this morning for not attending breakfast but she would be disqualified if she doesn't attend the event of tonight." Laura stated.
"You have nothing to worry about Laura. Nari is almost ready for the competition." Laura nodded and then started walking away. All of the girls have arrived for the event, including Anna. But for some reason, Ava and Nari were not yet present.
"Did you go through the script I provided?" Chan asked and both girls nodded. It was either Nari or Ava wins tonight competition or no one would. That is how Chan have planned everything for tonight.
She would make sure After Nari wins, Anna would leave in shame.
"We did." Ava responded. After hearing the little information of Anna, she felt even more jealous of her and wanted everything she had. How can someone that evil have everything good happening for her and they who she bullied, have everything bad happening to them.
"About your scandal online Nari." Ava said as they both stepped out of the room. "You can always use relationship to sway the public's opinion from the vile accusations against you. Find a cute boyfriend and stick to that." Ava started walking away without waiting for Nari to respond and Nari smiled as she watched her walk away.
She knew Ava is ten times more vicious than she is and would destroy Anna quicker than anyone would. If people think she's a snake, then they haven't met Ava. The deadliest snake with a poisonous vernom.
When Ava approached the hall, she smiled the moment she saw Anna and Anna smiled back at her. The girl looked so genuine and she was getting to like her. Hopefully, she's not a user like others who have tried to get close to her. Lola smiled at her too as they exchanged pleasantries.
Lola who was standing next to Anna until now, recieved a text that made her eyes go wide. "Are you okay?" Anna asked and she nodded.
"Bruno will stay with you." She pointed at the guard standing there. "I have to go get something." She started running away. How could she forget such important thing, oh she's in so much trouble.
"Did you at least learn anything today?" Ava asked Anna.
"Not much, I only learned about a few history of Crownsville. It seemed like an interesting topic." Anna shrugged staring ahead. She hadn't been nervous before but seeing the first girl step out of the place with tears in her eyes, Anna turned nervous. The other girls tried to talk to her to get a few hint from her but she said nothing.
Every girl who hadn't seen the questions were as nervous as hell.
"Did you learn anything?" Anna asked Ava back as she tried to get her mind of some things.
"I learned a few things." She said calmly. She watched everything Anna did wondering what a man as powerful as Noah Declan saw in her. Why was he even attracted to her?
In the face she appeared to be so calm and innocent, who knew she was an industry whore? Ava thought to herself.
As Ava stared at Anna, an idea immediately popped into her head and she smiled.
