They screamed at her, calling her different names. Anna has never felt this way before. Even if the world had been angry with her the last time Nari framed her, they weren't this bold. Right now they were harassing her and threatening to kill her.
Noah who had gone to his office to sign a few papers recieved a call from Paul immediately. "Boss man. Your wife is being chased around the city by a group of angry mobs, they're threatening to harm her." Noah rose from where he sat immediately.
The chase was being recorded by the people in the airport who found this whole things entertaining, while others found it not funny. A lot of people still tried to figure out who the person is they're chasing like a criminal. They could hear them scream Anna Sui, but no body could see her face clearly.
It's because the person they were chasing was wearing a hat and shades and she covered her face with the hat that looked like a giant mat on the head.
Who the hell wears track suit and a hat? Anna Sui is a fashion Icon not a fashion don't. As they wondered who the person was, Anna ran out of their sight. She had no idea she would run this fast until now.
The mobs were trying to corner her to do whatever they wanted with her and she had ran faster than even her bodyguards and Lola who was still trying to catch her breath. Lola couldn't run anymore, she would rather get help than run.
"Come back here Anna, no one will save you today." A girl among them yelled as they chased Anna around the airport and back. Even the security men around could not stop them, they outnumbered them. They had called for backup but no one has arrived yet.
Never in this city have the people been this brave to attack a know figure.
Anna moved through different corners of the airport till she came to a dead end. She stared at the tall wall looking for a little space she could squeeze herself between but she found none. She should have listened to Noah when he had suggested her using the private jet.
But for the first time in a while, Anna wanted to feel like before. Flying with her fellow models and try to make friends as always.
She knew the industry in a cunning place filled with fake friends and fake lifestyle, but she still needed friends. She still believed there were other people as genuine as she is.
"We have you now Anna Sui." One of them said clashing her huge body against Anna who staggered back a little. She maintained a calm composure and didn't dare say a word to them or let them see her face. She would never get a second hand embarrassment again.
It they don't see her face, what will they use against her? She knew that's what they wanted.
"Why are you hiding behaving like a chicken. Can't you oppress us like you did to Nari?" Anna gritted her teeth at their words fighting not to say a thing to them.
"You think you're all mighty because of your little fame." The fat girl who had hit her before poked her head as she streamed live.
The live video had more than a million people love streaming, the highest anyone in the country has gotten.
This is barbaric, this people weren't just anyone, they have been hired by Nari to stall her here so that she misses her flight for the award show and get kicked out. It's all Nari's game plan.
It's not like they would hurt, they wouldn't dare hurt her. "Answer us Anna Sui, get that hat off your face and show that hideous face to the world." The girl dragged the hat off of Anna's head and she quickly shielded her face with both her hands falling to the floor and squeezing like a ball.
Anna was terrified at the same time annoyed. She needed a way out of this mess. As she raised her eyes a bit, she saw a small opening and ran through it immediately. The mob who were taken unaware ran after Anna, immediately two people wearing the same same outfit appeared before them.
It's good that Anna had decided not to wear one of her custom made dresses for this trip, it was easier for them to find a stunt touble to distract the mob. Maybe not just one stunt double but three as they all ran with Anna making it four people with the same body type and height.
Even if they didn't have Anna's face, Anna wasn't showing her face either. As all four women took different route Lola tried to keep tab of Anna as she ran after her.
Today was actually the craziest day of her life since she started working with a celebrity. There is not doll day being Anna Sui's manager, she had too much enemies trying to destroy her all at once.
The mob tried to separate themselves and chase after all four women but we're easily outnumbered this time and we're all caught by security. Anna who had stepped out of the airport building ran into the black car waiting for her with Lola.
"That was close." Lola panted trying to catch her breath. She may look all slim and beautiful but it didn't mean she had the strength to run. Running is one of the things she couldn't do no matter what.
"Are you alright?" Noah's voice startled Anna and she flinched a little. "Y... You're here?" She blinked at him. She didn't think Noah would know what was happening especially since today is his off day.
Anna stared at her hubby who stared back at her silently. His silent was loud enough for her to know he was mad at her. He had suggested she used his jet but she insisted she was fine.
Who knew some angry mob would chase after her today?
