"And what happens when he eventually wakes up?" Kate asked, she was scared her father will wake up. She had a lot to lose and it's not like her aunt was available to support her anymore. She had talked about Noah sending threats to her family.

She had no idea why she had wanted her daughter to even end up with Noah, it would never happen. Noah will never look at Nari as long as Anna is very much alive.

"W... What I meant was to tell me if he would face other implications if he does wake up?" Though Kate has heard it a million times already, she wanted to confirm it over and over again to be sure her father was not going to wake and expose her.
"Oh that..." Fletcher drawled staring at her. "He'd be paralyzed for life and might not even be able to speak again. His life will never be the same so he's as good as dead." Fletcher said the truth, but he did seem the woman feel sad or cry like the rest. Kate was in deep thoughts, weighing the doctors words.
It's a good thing she's the one taking care of him. For now she wouldn't do a thing to know how his health will improve. If she sees positive changes, she would have no choice but to kill him herself.
"Are you alright ma'am?" Fletcher as calling her back to reality and she quickly nodded. "I shall take my leave then." At his words he stormed away.
When Kate got back to her father's room, she turned on her iPad and started watching the broadcast Nari had told her about. Her daughter had also informed her about the all expenses paid trip to the country they were headed for the diamond award.
They would be there for three days and each perform. Their performance would determine the next diamond of the country. They usually host this show in the country but for this year, they have decided to not go local anymore.
They have decided to let other contestants from other countries were to join them. There would be 40 contestants and only one will take the crown home.
Kate had used all of her connections to make her daughter win but the award show wasn't a biased one. They couldn't just crown anyone the diamond of the country. Every diamond needed to earn her title.
After so many money spent, she finally got a spot for Nari at the final stage, where she's to compete with for other girls to be crowned the diamond. As Kate watches the live broadcast, she frowned when she saw her neice signing the contract for the lead role. Anna was all smiling and bright, while her Nari sat at a corner like a no body.
Kate did not like the way they treated her daughter at all. She would do everything to get Anna for the way Nari is being treated.

Anna and Lola had arrived at the airport and stepped out of the car. Anna had changed her clothes from the elegant dress she wore to a casual track suit as she walked. She wore her usual disguise, the horrible one Janjan has warned her about. The big hat and shades.
Both she and Lola didn't have to carry their luggage since the guards did it for them. Both women's eyes and ears were on alert as they walked carefully through the hall.
At first the people waiting in there didn't notice Anna walking, till one of them screamed. "ANNA SUI!!!!!!
Everyone turned to her as they rushed towards her. Anna who heard her name turned to see an aggressive Mon running towards her and both she and Lola took their heel as they started running. They airport security ran after the mob.
When Lola had told her about Nari setting up something for her, she never thought it would be a thing like this. Anna frowned. She knows why the bitch had done something like this. To scare her and Kate her miss an important event she's meant to attend.
Nari wanted her out because she knows if Anna doesn't make it today, she would be out of the competition. "There must be another way out." Lola said running out of breath and the mob didn't look tired at all, rather they started throwing things at them.
There's no way they could fly with such people after them. Anna bit her lips wondering what next to do. She couldn't miss her flight today, else she would be out for good. She hadn't taken this diamond crown seriously before and just wanted to be there since Lola said it would be good for her career.
But since Nari wants to play with her, she would have to attend and take the crown from her. Anna knew all of these dirty games and she knew how to play them too.
At the far end of the airport, Nari smiled as the mob chased Anna. More humiliation for Anna Sui. She smiled feeling so proud of herself. She has managed to ruin Anna's reputation in just two days.
"Let's go, we can't keep standing here all day." Edward said to her and she nodded. Nari then turn to the man beside her, "Make sure she doesn't leave."
If she couldn't win the award with Anna present, Anna just doesn't have to attend at all.
