"Is he okay?" He murmured. After a while, Noah came back down to meet his butler. "Where's my wife?" Noah asked the man.
"In the kitchen sir." Lurch bowed and walked away. He should have known that silly woman would be in her favorite place. As Noah stepped into the kitchen he was greeted by a slender looking woman in a tiny black dress and a short apron tied around her waist. Her blonde hair was tied to the back as she wore her chef hat.
He smiled as he saw her. She has never looked more sexy before in the mini dress as she prepared the dishes.
He walked close to her immediately, shocking a few helping maids around her
She looked so sexy in the little dress. Noah has not really seen his wife's long beautiful legs, especially since she hasn't worn any shirt clothes before him. She always tried to dress as modest as possible since he's met her.
He wrapped his arms around her from behind and kissed her slightly exposed neck. "Stop playing around sugar." Anna whispered with a soft smile appearing on her lips. The maids who were around their madam, quickly found their way out of the kitchen.
Everyone knows how shameless Noah Declan can be when it comes to his wife. His beating heart.
"How was your day?" Noah extended his kisses down to her shoulder and a little whimper escaped her lips. She has no idea what spell this man had casted on her, but everyday she finds herself falling into an unexplainable pit with no return.
Noah's presence alone was overwhelming enough to make her forget about her bad and depressing day. "I'm trying to prepare a meal for us." Anna confessed, but as the words left her lips, Noah turned her around and turned off the stove.
"The only food I want to eat it you." He lifted her chin and kissed her lips. His kiss was so soft and gentle as his tongue sucked on her lips. Anna moaned into his mouth as she dropped the utensils in her hands on the counter to wrap her arms around him.
Noah deeped the kiss eliciting a moan from her lips over and over again. She quickly pulled out of his contagious kiss before she got too carried away. In this life, Anna didn't think she would ever have a taste of what true love was about till she met Noah over and over again. Even if she couldn't recall what their past life together was like, she was still very much glad she had met him.
"Noah, I have to cook this. Y... You can't always rely on eating me to survive." She blushed, her action only made him smile.
"Fine, let me help you to cook." Anna stared at him with wide eyes. The business tycoon Noah De lan can cook?
"My hubby can cook?"
"Come on, just this once. After today, we both will not enter into the kitchen anymore. I don't want you hurting yourself." Anna smiled at him. This husband of hers. He's just too overly protective of her.
"It's not the first time I'm cooking." Anna said to see him wave her off.
"Nonsense. My wife will not be subjected to making my meals, that's why we have maids my sweet girl." Noah pulled his sleeve and picked the vegetables without warning.
He took them to the sink and started washing, while Anna focused to frying the chicken. After much deliberation, she had finally decided to fry the chicken.
After preparing dinner, both people arranged the dishes on the table while Anna asked Lurch to get her aunt. Both she and Noah smiled at the little dish they had both prepared together with the perfect smile on their lips. The food looked so beautiful, they could already tell it would taste the same.
As Grace arrived, all three people ate quietly on the table. "Do you have anything tomorrow?" Noah asked his wife who nodded. Lola had talked about her signing some documents for the lead role of the movie, 'MY ENTERNAL'.
Maybe they would shoot some covers too. She would get to meet some crew members and other actors there. Anna couldn't wait for the experience. "I think the contract signing for the new movie." She said eating her Vegetables and Noah nodded.
She hadn't forgotten his birthday at all and wanted to surprise him. She would need to get him the perfect gift and she knew what to get him.
Noah didn't say anything to Grace who had been quiet since they started eating. She needed some space to process everything that had happened today. Right now she didn't know what statw her father was in. The last thing she wanted to do was trustKate with handling her father, Kate didn't know how to care for other except herself.
Grace dabbed her lips with the napkin. She didn't eat much because she was worried and has not lost her appetite. "I'll be in my room first." Grace got up and started walking away. "What's wrong with her?" Noah asked his wife as he added more vegetables to her plate.
He felt so bad he had used Anna and Grace as his bait in whatever he wanted from Kate and the rest of their family members and he has gotten just that. "We were kicked out of the hospital earlier." Anna explained. There is no need hiding anything from her hubby when it's all over the news.
Noah might see it one way or another, so it's best he heard from the horses mouth. "Don't get involved Noah, it isn't something I cannot handle." Anna quickly said to see him nod gently. This was her family issues, and they could resolve whatever issues they have themselves.
The last time Noah was involved, he made her family go bankrupt in seconds.
