It must really suck to be a celebrity in this kind of family. He sighed.
"They will not be allowed in here anymore since you don't want that." He said to see Kate and the rest of them smile. Martha was excited because Anna and Grace, her now worst enemies will not be allowed in here just as she wanted. To her it's the best punishment to give to Anna and Grace. While Kate was happy she finally had a chance to deal with her father. She would end all of these once and for all.
Finally, everything was going accordingly. She would deal with the butler that had tried to tattle tale on her and lie in her face. Bean is so going to be dead when she gets back to the mansion. She wouldn't kill him, so as not to arouse suspicions, but she had a special way of punishing him.
"Alright all you have to do is sign here and here." Fletcher brought the document Noah had ordered and placed it on the table.
"What is that...?" Kate's words was I trusted by the sudden raps on the door.
"Come in." Fletcher said pressing his forehead with his thumb. He was already stressed out from talking to them.
Almost immediately a man walked through the door. He was in a black suit, his black hair tied down to the back. He had a soft smile on his face. The same smile that kept Nari's gaze lingering on him longer than usual.
He looked between 25-28 and she wondered who he was. She knew he isn't a famous person but he could sweep the current stars out of their spot if he decides to become one.
"Adam, finally." Fletcher said the moment he laid his eyes on him.
"I'm sorry I'm late, my boss kept me there longer than planned." He said politely to Fletcher who smiled back at him.
"You're not late at all, infact you're here just in time." Kate's confused gaze met the doctors as her smile fell off her face.
"Madam." Fletcher called Kate, drawing her attention back to him, "What's going on?" She finally asked.
"All your demands can be met, but you'll have to sign a contract madam." Nari frowned at this. "What do you mean sign a contract?" Martha who has been quiet till this moment spoke up, confused too. Why would they need to sign a contract before they can see her brother. They are his families, not some bunch of strangers.
Do this people know what they are talking about?
"Yes, what are you talking about?" Douglas demanded, backing his wife as always. He would do anything she wishes and support her whenever she needs it.
"The condition we met your father and brother in was a critical one." Fletcher began, his voice pitiful as he spoke. "We don't know who had tried to kill him and who's still trying. So we can't trust anyone."
"Are you trying to say we hurt him?" Kate asked furiously glaring at the doctor. "How dare you lay accusations on us?" She asked.
"Don't forget your place doctor. You're payed to treat him not keep his family away from him the moment he needs us the most. If anything happena to my father I will sue you instead." She should have known since Noah found her father he would begin his stupid decisions like their family is his.
It is time she puts that man in his place. She was tired of him trying to control their family, especially since he's just a son in law and nothing more. He should stay in his son in law place and stop poking and trying to control their lives.
"Does it matter madam. This should be a big deal considering you are willing to stay with your father." Fletcher said with a frown.
"If your father dies it should be my fault. I tried all I can to revive him just like I'm doing now." He added.
"This is disrespectful to us as his family. I've been taking good care of my father since a child why would I try to kill him?" Kate barked.
"No body can be trusted on what happened to your father. And I'm not trying to blame you madam, don't get me wrong. But if you'll have to take good care of your father, you shouldn't be worried about signing the deal especially since it doesn't even say much." Fletcher said.
"What does it say?" Martha asked.
"That whoever has decided to stay with the general would have to sign an undertaking under my guidance. If the general dies under their care due to unnatural causes, they would face life in prison. You can read the document for further understanding." Adam opened paper before them.
Martha didn't see that as a bad idea, it would only make them take care of her brother even more. Right now she wasn't aware of who had tried to hurt her brother and restricting his hospital visit wasn't at all a bad idea.
Kate gritted her teeth at his words. She should have never accepted to take care of her father if she knew about this. If she backs down now she would look suspicious. Kate hated being stucked like this, she would have to follow through her words.
She would have to find another means of killing him. One way or another.
"You can leave me to my clients now Mr Fletcher, success on your surgery." Fletcher rose to his feet nodding to Adam before leaving his office.
"It's not a bad idea Kate since you'll be the one taking care of your father yourself as always." Martha said. She infact found the whole signing as a good thing. At least it would keep Grace and Anna out of this place and far away from her brother.
