"What." Beth finally spoke for the first time.

"And you too Beth. Come on, you both know my line of work and I don't want anything about me out there." Cara frowned at this. It was enough that Anna and Noah were being all lovey-dovey before then and now she has to sign this.

She stared at Noah who's eyes were finally on her and she tensed. Why is he looking at her now.

"I'm not going to let you disrespect me this way. You're letting your wife disrespect me Noah" Beth yelled staring at her brother who looked as calm as always.

"She is not wrong Beth. Sign the NDA, unless you want to disclose things about her." Noah said staring at her. Beth opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. Noah has accused her stylishly without uttering a word from his lips. Did he think she had something to do with who drugged his wife?

She had no idea who did it. The only thing she did was escort her friend to set up a camera in Anna's room. Though both she and Cara wanted to drug Anna, they didn't do it this time.

"I would never disrespect you Beth. You're my sister in-law. I just don't trust your friend here." Anna turned to Cara who had barely spoken even if she had a million and one things to say ran through her mind.

"Cara has done nothing." Beth defended.

"Of course she hasn't, but she's not family Beth and I cannot trust her." Anna shrugged.

"Miss Sui is right. It's not an insult Miss Elizabeth, you do the same as a known person too don't you?" Lola asked and Beth couldn't say anything else. It wasn't an insult, everyone did it. But since Anna had asked her, she felt like it was an insult.

She took the paper from Lola, gave a copy to her friend as they both signed it. Anna smiled as they have the paper back to her manager. "Thank you for complying." Anna smiled.

"Now since we have that settled. I have a movie premiere coming up next week, I would really appreciate if you two can attend for me." Anna mustered the sweetest smile she could staring at the two girls.

"Fine." Cara said shocking her friend beside her. Beth thought Cara didn't know what she was doing, but Cara saw any opportunity as a leverage to exact her revenge. She would not stop until she's taken Anna out of the way.

On the way back to their mansion, Nari had posted a disturbing post which had stirred a conversation on the news as everyone questioned her actions. It wasn't news the Declan's were having a dinner party with few distinguished celebrities in attendance. But no one knew who and who had attended.

Obviously only the who's who's were in attendance, but people had no idea who they were until Nari took a posted a picture of herself wearing a mask and when she wasn't wearing putting a ring in the caption.

She had hated the way Noah spoke about Anna today. Maybe they knew Anna was married to him, but is the public aware of it?

She turned off her phone after the post and focused to solving to problem her mother had created in their mansion. She wondered if the old General was dead already, she had seen him, and from the state he was, nothing and no one can save him.

Their car accelerated into their estate and stopped before a black gate which screamed open for the chauffeur to drive in. The yard looked eerily quiet, as if something evil had befallen them. Everyone has probably heard to the news about the general's death and they were waiting for them to arrive.

Kate smiled because she knew she was now in charge. The anger that settled in her heart from the embarrassment she got had now dissipated. Even if she couldn't get Anna last night, there will always be a next time to get the girl. And when the next time comes, she would never make the same mistakes again.

Kate stepped out of the car with her daughter Nari behind her. As if he noticed their presence, Bean stepped out of the mansion with his maids to welcome her. Everyone looked so sad and unhappy be cause they know she was the one to hurt their General.

"Welcome back madam, miss Nari." Bean took their bags as they walked past him.

"How is my father?" Kate asked immediately as she started walking away without waiting for him to speak. She would have collected important documents from her father's office last night but she had been in a hurry to attend the Declan's party to deal with Anna that she forgot what to do.

While Nari went ahead to her room, Kate went to her father's office. "Send message to the extended families and tell them the terrible thing that has happened. We need to arrange for his burial as soon as possible." She said without looking up at Bean as she searched for a certain document which had Anna's name before.

The general had been so angry with his granddaughter, but he never changed her from being the heiress of the family. Kate knew he had willed everything he owns to Anna since she was a child. He did it because she's his son's only child and everything he owned was meant to be his.

She had been angry back then. It was one of the reasons she hated her neice. She's his first daughter and the next in line to his son, yet, the general never saw her as a worthy successor after everything she's done for him. It's not like Anna is any better.

Kate can never let that little girl control her life and finances. She's the oldest and should be in charge of everything. Not Anna.

She would never let Anna take anything from her.
