"She's your neice, how come you never made her debute." The woman in a twilight fug dress said. She was standing next to a girl who wore a beige pink dress and hasn't stopped staring at Anna. Anna couldn't make out her face, especially because of the silver mask she had on.

She wasn't smiling, just staring at Anna with that brown hazel eyes of hers.

"You know we never had the chance to after everything that happened..." Grace trailed and Madeline quickly understood. She knew what Grace meant. Everyone had seen the news back then but there was nothing they could do about it, they didn't want to go down with the Sui's.

Anna who has been standing there watching both women speak quickly waved her hands to call a waiter. She was exhausted from all of the walking and greeting. It turns out her aunt knew quite a few people in here.

The waiter came to stand before her holding a tray was filled with glasses of wine in his hands. It looks like he hasd just refilled his tray and was moving around to serve people.

The glasses was filled with red wine and only one contained a white wine. As always, Anna picked the different one and took a sip. She liked tasting knew things, she could already taste the red wine since she's had that countless times.

She smacked her lips together at the deliciousness, waving her hands for the waiter to leave.

"We also heard what happened with the Yong's." Anna turned curious at the woman's words. Did the Yong's do something her aunt hadn't told her about? It was frustrating that she could not recall a thing from before, she felt like a fool staring at the news faces she sees everyday who claim to know her.

Grace frowned a little at Madeline's words, but she quickly smiled. "Yes, our Anna is happily married now." Grace said. She wished she could brag more about her neice to these nosey woman. But Anna and Noah wanted their marriage private for God knows what reason.

She would have loved to shut everyone up on e and for all.

"She is?" Madeline sounded shocked. "How come nonody heard about it?" She asked staring at Grace in surprise.

"Anna is a known celebrity now, she wouldn't just throw a big wedding and invite everyone." Maybelline nodded in understanding.

To her, she felt like Grace was lying. There's no way Anna would be married to a prestigious man and would attend this party alone. This is a private party where no one knows anyone it's not a problem if she came with anyone.

"There's something called a private wedding Grace." Madeline said softly smiling too. She could already tell what they were here for.

They had both come here like other people with the same goal in their minds. Getting the attention of the Declan heir who was not even present at the party. Everyone has stayed clear because Cara was announced as Noah's fiance, but since they rejected her at Evelyn's birthday party, everyone saw it as an opportunity to introduce their daughters. Who knows, one of the young girls might be the one he picks.

It's a shame Grace is now parading an old woman like Anna for marriage. Her time has passed and it's not their fault they couldn't find her a husband because of the life she had chosen to live.

The Sui's were already known for their unmarried lifestyle, that's the reason a lot of people couldn't get close to them. It wasn't surprising when the Yong's left their granddaughter. Veronica Yong has already declared the girl a whore and saying her son had caught Anna cheating. Everyone in the country knew of that story.

Grace stared at Madeline speechless, she had nothing to say because she knew nothing she said would be believable. Anna's marriage had happened in the blink of an eye. One moment they had sent her out of the mansion and the next, she was back with her husband.

No one would believe this story. It is impossible. Right now she has a son in-law like Noah Declan, yet she couldn't brag about him.

"You should reduce the men you meet Anna, it'll leave a bad review on your name." Madeline said. "You're almost past your marriage age, you need to find a husband and soon." Anna frowned this time at the woman's words. She had tried not to involve herself but she couldn't take it anymore.

"And your daughter." Anna stared at the girl.

"What about Mary?" Madeline asked.

"She doesn't seem to be taking you advice very keenly, she's also soon past the marriage age. How long will you keep looking for a husband for her?" Anna crossed her hands on her chest as she saw Madeline's lips tremble. The woman looked so upset by her words.

Just what she wanted. She can have all that big mouth for her aunt but can't take the taste of her own medicine.

She hated these women that judge others with every little chance they get. It's obvious she's one of the many that have been speaking about them.

"I see that you're very rude." Madeline began. "You're totally everything they say about you." She added.

"And what exactly do they say about me?" Grace held her neice from speaking but Anna didn't seem like she would listen. She was ready to put this woman in her place tonight.

"That you're very rude and a whore?" Madeline said. "I was only trying to advice you, but it seems you want to end up like your aunt's." She said and started walking away without waiting for Anna to complete her words.

"Don't listen to anything she said." Grace said to her neice immediately and Anna smiled. She knew that. Calling her a whore was nothing compared to the bully she faces on the internet daily. Madeline was another gossip monger talking a lot about people but never about herself and family.

"I know." The girl who followed Madeline stared back Anna and Anna felt bad for even involving. She had been upset the woman was insulting her aunt's. It's not their fault they didn't get married. And who says marriage is a major priority in life.

These senseless women...

"Enough greeting for tonight, let's join the others for the dinner." As Anna walked away with her aunt she felt a little hot. As they walked into the open space, the heat intensified and Anna fanned her face with her hands.

She had no idea what was happening to her. Why was she feeling so hot?

She started sweating profusely and then a familiar ache began between her thighs.
