She saw him sigh as he leaned backward to rest his back on the couch. He had his coat hanging on his legs, the first three buttons of his black shirt were open revealing his flexed muscles and perfect abs which automatically turned Anna weak in the knees. She unintentionally bit her lower lips.
His front hair was scattered all over his face, he looked exhausted as he spoke, yet somehow managed to have this powerful and domineering aura around him.
She could feel her heart skip a beat at the sight of him. Noah is a demi-god. Perfect and hand-crafted by God himself. It's almost as if God stole all the beauty of 80% of the men in this world and gave it to one man.
Anna still didn't know how she had gotten married to this man because looking at him right now, it was inhumanly possible that a girl like her had attracted him. Did she walk up to him? Did he meet her? Just how was it possible?
As if Noah noticed her stare, he turned his gaze to her. His lazy eyes stared at her blue ones and she had no idea she had stopped breathing. Anna tried to compose herself, but every attempt seems to be failing miserably.
Her face flushed red, showing the evidence of her embarrassment.
"Where are you coming from?" Noah asked tapping the empty space next to him and her eyes followed unable to understand what he was talking about. To the world right now, she might be the big-mouthed Anna Sui, heartless and cruel, and so arrogant, but before this man, she was nothing but a helpless cat who wanted to run and hide from his eyes.
M... My..." She hated that she stuttered but here she is.
"Come sit here my sweet girl," Noah said in his deep voice which sounded like a command at the same time plea. She had no idea what spell he had just cast on her, but she felt her legs moving towards him. Her heart beating so loud that she created the people in the room might hear them.
She stopped moving when she got to him. She was shy, and he loved every bit of it. "Sit next to your husband sweetheart." Noah said seductively. She didn't need to be told twice for her butt to land on the couch next to him. "Good girl." He muttered.
"I shall take my leave now sir." Pitch who was not used to his master ultimate seduction skills bowed and left the lounge along with the maids. Leaving the two love birds alone.
"How are you feeling today?" Noah's voice was deeper than usual.
"I... I'm feeling okay." She bit her tongue from stuttering. She shouldn't stutter before this man. He shouldn't get this kind of reaction from her, but yet he did.
She should be hating him, he was her enemy, and his family had killed hers, but here she was sitting with him.
"Where did you go to?" Noah finally asked again pulling a few strands of hair from her face and she shuddered. For some reason she loved his touch. Now she knew how she got pregnant, this man seduced ber.
"My grandfather's mansion." She said briefly. Noah didn't ask further as he already knew what she probably went there to do.
"Did you finally get her kicked out of your mansion?" He asked the obvious to see his wife shake her head in frustration as she let out a silent sigh. Her pink wet full lips trembled slightly and one swipe made it wet again. That action alone made him clench his teeth.
This wasn't easy for him too. It's just like starting their love story afresh, or maybe rewriting everything that happened. Right now Annanis the innocent sweetheart he had met a few months ago, the one that knows nothing about being loved.
"I think they already signed some papers and until my aunt decided to unadopt her, there's not much I can do." She sighed.
"Do you need my help?" Anna shook her head immediately. "I'll handle them myself." Nari isn't someone she couldn't handle, especially since this was a family matter. The last thing she wanted was to invite an enemy of the family into their home.
"Make sure you get into trouble, I'll always pull you out no matter what." Anna smiled. Every husband tells their wife to avoid trouble, but here she is with this crazy man that wants her to get into more trouble.
"I'll keep that in mind." She said.

When Anna got back to the room after dinner, she picked up her phone and called her manager Lola while Noah stepped into the batbroom.
"Yes miss Sui." Lola's voice rang through the phone.
"I heard the director of the new movie, George Borne has kicked me out of my role and I've been replaced by Nari Sui. I want you to set up a meeting with him." Anna ordered.
"Are you sure ma'am, we could let Mr Declan handle that matter." Lola suggested. And she did that because she had been the only one Anna informed about George's threats. They were still looking for more concrete evidence against him before the accident happened.
Lola didn't know why she hadn't talked about this earlier. "Why would Noah handle such small matters?" Anna asked. It's not something she couldn't handle alone, a little money could do the trick and George will give her the role back. She can even threaten to withdraw every investment Noah had made for the movie.
"Uhm, I... I think it's because of where you left off." Lola tried to explain.
"Where we left off? What are you talking about?" Anna asked with narrowed eyes. Did she know the man before?
"You see miss Anna, before your accident, you had a little issue with George Borne."
"What exactly did I do?"
"You slapped him at the after party of Eclipse opening."
