"ANNA!!" Kate screamed but before she could get to her niece, "Kate!!" The general called with a firm voice. Nari at the same time went ahead to hold her mother like the good child she was. "Mother please don't hurt her, she's still very hurt by everything that happened. Her words only angered Kate more.
"What are you trying to do?" The general asked staring at her and his daughter. "You want to fight your niece?"
"Did you see what she did to Nari, father? She raised her filthy hands on my daughter." Kate barked.
"Father you saw Nari didn't do anything. Nari would never hurt anyone." Kate added.
"Never hurt anyone?" Anna huffed burning with fury. She was mad at the same time hurt that her family would do this to her, she couldn't believe it. Her aunt Kate went ahead to adopt an enemy into the family, an enemy that has separated her from the family.
Just how weak was she to have let this happen before? She would never let her family adopt a girl that destroyed her life and according to what she had seen stole her boyfriend Mack.
"Did you all forget everything she did to me? You're so bold Kate to adopt her." She removed the title from her aunt's name. To her, she doesn't deserve such a title anymore. She doesn't even deserve to be a family member if she would do this to her.
"Kate?" Kate murmured her name. "Wow Anna, finally showing your true color. Did you think I wouldn't find out how you lied to us to to the world about Nari just to tarnish her image?"
"How dare you slap my daughter?" Kate clenched her fist to the point her knuckles had turned white. She knew how much she was controlling herself not to unleash her wrath on her.
"How dare I slap an intruder?" Anna asked her. "I see she lied to you about everything. As always you would always pick side with a stranger over your own neice. My father would be very ashamed of you." Anna received another slap from her aunt, but this time she didn't slap anyone back. She just stared at Kate with a blank expression. Slowly a smirk appeared on her lips.
"How much more shameless can you be Anna? How dare you say that to me?" Kate yelled at her niece, tears breaming in her eyes.
"But I'm not wrong. He left me in your care and look what you did." Kate didn't say anything else and just stared at her niece. "I knew you never liked my mother but extending your hate for her to me is absurd." Anna continued her blackmail.
Her aunt thought she could blackmail and guilt trip her but she would show them just how good she is in that too.
"All I know is that your father wherever he is knows I tried for you. He knows I tried a lot to raise you." Kate's voice turned low.
"But did you do a good job though? You hate me, Kate, you hate me so much that's why you would go as far as adopting this bitch of all people to be a part of the family. But all I know is she is not a member of this family and must leave."
"You have no right to say that. Nari is my adopted daughter and she'll stay here as a member of this family." Kate declared eyeing her neice disdainfully. What has come over this girl?

"Then I cannot and will never be disowned. Even Grandpa cannot disown me anymore. If you harbor an enemy In my home, I will remain married to Noah Declan and there's nothing you or anyone will do about it."
"You have no right to make decisions in this mansion. You're already disowned..."
"This is my home and I am uncomfortable leaving with a girl that almost killed me. If you want me back to this mansion you should get rid of her, if you can't, then I'm not leaving my husband." Kate shook with anger. How is her niece turning everything back to her, this was the same condition she gave Anna a few weeks ago when she had adopted Nari.
Kate was about to speak when Anna started walking away.
"Come back here Anna, I'm still talking to you," Kate screamed but her niece didn't stop and just continued walking till she was out of sight. The Anna of before would have stopped and she would dog walk all over her, commanding and treating her like trash.
"That's alright." The general tried to touch his daughter but she pulled his hands off her. "Don't touch me!" She yelled.
"You let that girl disrespect me before you and still said nothing?" She asked her father. A maid gave Nari a cold towel to apply to the red spot on her cheeks and she did, still in shock at everything that happened.
It's almost as if Anna wasn't here just now. She shook her head, that person cannot be Anna. She's always had a soft and stupid personality, anyone could ride her or step on her. They've done that for the longest and thought she would be as easy now she's lost her memory. But Nari had been wrong.
Anna had a different powerful Aura that made her shiver, like the way Noah does to her.
All she cared about now was how to get Mack the money he needed to start his life again. She would never be able to steal anything if Anna was this way. Nari gritted her teeth. Oh, she wished now more than ever Anna had died during that fall.
"You know she's still trying to recover, she just got out of the hospital a week ago." The general said.
"And I wish she never made it out of that hospital," Kate said without remorse...
