It was their family issue and she'll deal with Kate herself. Both she and Anna were already coming up with a plan to finally remove Nari from their family when all of these happened, which made her wonder who was behind it.
Who really tried to kill her neice and who's telling everyone Anna was as good as dead?
As they approached her bed, Noah's sharp eyes caught a slight movement. Anna's fingers twitched ever so slightly.
"Grace!" He exclaimed and rushed to her side.
Grace's eyes widened, and she rushed to her niece's side, grabbing her hand gently. "Anna? Can you hear me, darling?" She said staring at the girl. She knew her neice was a fighter and would fight to the end.
Noah wasted no time and quickly stepped out of the room to get a doctor. They needed to know what was happening.
"Anna, baby say something if you can here me just do something. Say something baby, your aunt is so worried." Grace said her tears falling from the corners of her eyes. She was overwhelmed with everything going on. All she needs is for her neice to be alright.
Anna squeezed her aunt's hands and the elderly woman's heart almost burst for joy. "Oh my baby." Grace called kissing her neice's hands. She took in deep breaths as she said, "Hang in there Anna, I want you to know we really love you."
Almost immediately, Noah rushed back with the doctor and a few nurses. "I didn't get the first thing you said Mr Declan, what is it you said again?"
"Her fingers moved," Noah said, pointing to Anna's hand. "She's showing signs of waking up."
The doctor immediately checked Anna's vitals and observed her closely. After a moment, he nodded, a small smile breaking through his lips. "This is a good sign. It means she's responding to stimuli. Let's continue to monitor her closely."
Grace held Anna's hand tighter, tears of relief spilling down her eyes. "Thank you, Doctor," she said softly.
The doctor gave a reassuring nod. "I'll have the nurses keep a close watch on her. If there are any further developments, we'll let you know immediately." Noah nodded at his words staring at his wife. He tapped Grace shoulders, "She'll be fine." Grace nodded and sat on one of the sofa's there.
The day has been nothing but stressful, but knowing Anna was responding positively to her stimuli made her happy. She could sleep tonight knowing her neice was going to be fine very soon.
"I want you to make a press statement tomorrow at the company." Noah said to the elderly woman and she met his gaze. Grace was shocked at his request, she wasn't a speech giver or media person to give speech like that.
"I... I don't..."
"Don't worry it's only going to be you and the camera and you'll say what appears on the screen." He said staring at Grace. His body itched to stop all of the nonsense happening online but that would mean going against his wife's words. He didn't know how bad she'll scold him when she wakes up. But who cares right?
They'll only fight for a few hours and that's it. But he'll make sure everyone present at the scene where his child was murdered pay.

"What was that?" Shen barked as he stepped back into their mansion. The plan they had, the plans they have been making for a week now has all shattered because of Anna. The entire Declan have put a hold to everything because of one person. One worthless person.
"Baby, you need to calm down." Mia said to where husband as they stepped back into their mansion. Janjan who had been quiet lately since Anna's accident didn't say anything to her parents. Her best friends demise really put her back in her shell, especially after finding out they knew something behind what had happened.
She couldn't tell what they knew yet but she knew the evidence hasn't been destroyed yet. She was still contemplating on telling Noah or sticking with her family. Everybody knows Noah would never forgive them, he already shook more than half of their income causing a few damages in some businesses.
They have lost a lot of investors and business partners following the news of Anna being hurt in their mansion. Her family shouldn't have been in the news and in bad light if she hadn't invited Anna like they wanted. Shen was still very much angry with his daughter for everything happening.
"We had everything planned Mia, how the hell is she going to get help if the Declan would not assist her?"
"We'll find another way." Mia said tailing behind her husband, she held the rays for support as she climbed the stairs.
"Another way when?" Shen turned to look at her. "We've lost almost all of our investors, the media is deeming us as murderers and the Declan's have postponed the wedding till one of them wakes up. We don't even know if that girl ever wakes up." He raised one hand to illustrate everything as he spoke.
"What if it takes ten years for her to wake up?" He sounded really frustrated. They were barely hanging on thin line hoping Janjan's marriage will be their means of survival but who knew Noah could control his family too. That best was really put for them, destroying them slowly because he can, so that others would not understand.
This is exactly what he had done to the Yong's and now, nobody knows where they are. The last time Shen saw a Yong, it was Mack, now a serving boy for Noah. Thought he had no idea how that Nari girl escaped from Noah, and he knew the only reason Noah hasn't touched her is because she's now a member of his wife's family.
He had been happy when Chalamet came to ask his daughter's hands in marriage, but seeing how weak he is compared to Noah, Shen was gradually having a change of heart.
