Kate stepped out of her sleek black car and walked confidently toward the entrance of the exclusive La Belle Époque restaurant. The elegant decor and the soft, ambient lighting reflected off the polished marble floors as she made her way inside, drawing the attention of a few diners who recognized her.

It's a restaurant for the elite people, so it's normal they recognized her especially since her neice has been on the news for a while now. She took out her shades, her eyes searching for the one man she was looking. He had better no deceive her into coming here when he hasn't arrived yet.

She was here for a crucial meeting with George Borne, one of the most influential producers in the industry. He had the power to make or break careers, that's why he had said those vile things about Anna before. He thought he could break her career like the others but who knew somehow that girl finds a way out.

Now rather than Anna being criticized and insulted for having a toxic working environment, the world pitied her and are prying for her recovery.

George clicked his tongue as he stared at Kate from afar. He didn't even get to have a taste of her before that night. If only she had agreed to come to his hotel.

Anna was one of the most beautiful model in the industry. Yes she is just as beautiful as the rest, but there was something spicy to her that made heads turn multiple times when she walks by. She makes men go crazy just at the stare of her. Everyone wanted to be with Anna Sui.

Kate approached the maître d', who nodded respectfully and led her to a secluded table at the back of the restaurant where George was already seated. George Borne, in his mid-fifties, with graying hair and a commanding presence, stood up to greet her.

"Kate, it's been a while. Please, have a seat," George said, his voice smooth and practiced as he stared at the woman flirtatiously. He used to be one of the men in line to asj for Grace's hands in Marraige. Every man back then ran away from Kate because of her bold personality. Men are sometimes scared of women like that.

Men like George Borne...

"Thank you, George," Kate replied with a charming smile, taking her seat across from him. She noticed the glass of wine in front of him and nodded when the waiter offered her the same.

"How is Grace, I hope she's doing fine?" He asked the obvious to see Kate smile. The general had been a very strict man, stopping any and every man from coming close to his daughters. The were the towns jewel at the time.

"She's perfectly fine." Kate smiled.

"Does your father know you're here, he might send one of his soldiers again?" George laughed at his stupid joke but Kate didn't say a word to him, neither did she laugh.

"I understand you wanted to discuss something important," George quickly changed the conversation, leaning back in his chair.

"Yes, indeed," Kate said, her tone turning serious. "I wanted to talk to you about your upcoming movie. I believe you haven't finalized the lead actress yet?" The waiter appeared with her glass of wine and poured it into a glass for her.

George's eyes flickered with amusement. "Actually, we have a few good actresses we have chosen for the lead role." George took a sip of his drink. "Why are you suddenly interested in movies and lead roles? I remember you hated those."

"I recently started liking them and I want to start a business in the movie industry." Her words interested the man sitting across the table as he raised a brow to stare at her.

"A business?" George asked taking a sip of his drink.

"Let's cut to the chase George. I'm willing to invest a good amount of money into the new movie, for something in return." The elderly man on the table smiled at her request. When Kate Sui had wanted to see him earlier, he had thought it was about her neice and the request he made to her.

Knowing their family and status in the society, George knew they wouldn't be able to keep him away from her, but to his surprise Kate was talking about something else.

Was she here to beg him to let her neice be in the movie? He thought. But Anna is still in the hospital and from the information he heard from Noah, it doesn't seem like she would wake up any time soon. Noah had talked about shifting the movie back or giving her role to another actress.

"What are you talking about?" George asked Kate.

Kate leaned back, "Imagine what you could do with additional funding. The resources, the marketing, the scope. It could take this movie to a whole new level."

George sat up a little straighter, thinking about her offer. "I think we have more than enough money for those things. Even if we wanted funds, our investors is more than willing to provide them."

"Perhaps you could invest in the next movie." He tried to be polite with her. "If you're doing this for your neice, you don't have to worry..." He said to the woman.

"Who is talking about Anna?" Kate barked shocking him. He has seen a few headlines about the family, but he thought it's one of the stupid headlines celebrity makes up to keep them trending. He had found the idea to be stupid but seeing Kate's reaction right now...

Kate fumed She didn't know why people still thinks she cares about that girl, it's high time she introduce Nari so that everyone can finally know she had a daughter.

"She's the only neice you have, correct me if I'm wrong." George turned genuinely curious. Everyone knew Anna Sui was the only Sui heir or was there a secret heir? Oh this would be a juicy revenge on Anna.

Anna may think she has Noah Declan man, but knowing his history with women he'll eventually get tired of her and she'll be alone again. He can finally deal with her the way he wants.

"I have a daughter named Nari and though I'm late, I would love her to be a part of the movie." Kate said amusing the man.

"How much are we talking about?"
