Why did her grandfather even kill the woman because she refused to love him in the first place?
He had done something to wrong. So cruel for his selfish reasons.
She had been an ass to Noah all this time. She had been mad at the wrong person, he was right all along. Though her parents were killed, she didn't see a need to blame Noah or his family for it anymore. Her grandfather killed them, and that's the truth he has refused to accept.
His ridiculous list for a married woman is the reason he lost his family members.
He had already married someone else that gave him three children yet he was chasing after somebody else's wife.
General Sui hasn't been so innocent either and this is the reason they were scared of her going back to Noah. Because she would learn the truth about everything and not judge based on a one sided story.

Anna sat at home all day wondering how to apologize to Noah for everything that happened. She had been stupid to judge him rather than both families. Just as the Elder said, they are both victims of what both he and her grandfather had done in the past.
She would have to call her aunties and explain to them. Surely, they don't know about the whole truth. They could both be a victims of the one sided story too.
She couldn't believe her grandfather would hide such from her. She had to apologize to Noah for taking her anger out on him, he had tried to explain to her but she turned a deaf ear to his words.
Anna left the Elder in the lounge alone and headed to her room. Vincent was happy she had been so understanding.
Though elling the stories of his past brought back a lot of memories that could trigger some trauma he had left behind. But he was glad he did.
The way he had seen his wife that day...
He couldn't forget that day in his life. It was quite unfortunate, Noah and Beth had seen her that day. The juice in his tongue suddenly tasted bitter and Vincent spat it out.
He wanted to kill the general that day. He had got an information that it was the general in the car, and found out late it was his son and family that were in that car. Before he could call off the operation, the deed had already been done.
He had been happy that day, taking revenge on the man that killed his only happiness in this crazy world. A woman he has loved since a child.
To this day Vincent blames himself for not being able to protect his wife enough, maybe if he added more security. Or maybe if he hadn't allowed her leave his sight like other times.

During the time of the evening, rather than waiting on the maids, Anna decided to prepare something good for Noah since she was less busy. It would be her way of apologizing to him for her shitty attitude recently.
It's a good thing Noah didn't sign the divorce papers, she wondered what she would have done now that she found the truth. She couldn't thank elder Vincent enough so she had asked him to wait for dinner.
Vincent loving his granddaughter in law very much decided to help her prepare dinner. She could stay mad at Vincent till he resolved whatever issue he had with her family, but that is long gone.
No matter what she does, her parents will never come back alive. It's best they all forgive each other and move on from the past once and for all. She couldn't stay angry forever, especially since she didn't have any memory of who her parents where or what they used to look like.
"Where does this go?" Vincent asked genuinely. It's the first time he has loved cooking in his life, and all thanks to his wonderful daughter in law. "You wash them properly before using." Anna smiled.
Vincent nodded and threw the freshly cut mushrooms back into the bowl and left it for the maids to wash them very well.
While they talked and laughed about foods, Noah arrived just in time. He returned home earlier than usual today for fear Anna must have killed the man already.
As always Lurch went ahead to take his master's Coat and bag. From miles away he could swear he heard his grandfather's loud laugh coming from inside the mansion.
"Where's my wife?" Noah asked the butler. "She's in the kitchen master with your grandfather." Noah started walking, but he didn't take the stairs. He headed for the kitchen shocking both Lurch and the maids around.
"It smells so good." Vincent said with a broad smile. He couldn't believe his daughter in law was such a good cook.
"Here have a taste." Anna blew the hot soup on the spoon and fed Vincent. The old man sipped the soup and smiled. "It taste divine." He beemed with joy. "I've never tasted something this sweet before."
"Stop flattering me." Anna's cheek turned pink as she spoke. "I'm glad you liked it."
"When did you two start getting along?" Noah deep voice was heard from the door. He had arrived a few seconds ago as stunned as the maids at his wife spoon feeding his grandfather. The same man she's meant to kill by now.
The same man that killed her parents. Indeed this old man had some skills up his sleeve. How was he able to convince this woman to forgive him, something he couldn't even do.
"Noah." Anna called.
"Come here son, come try this. It taste so good." Vincent called his grandson.
