Chapter 112 RESTRAINING ORDER 1

1007words
I can't believe that man placed a restraining order against us, this is serious." Grace sat on the sofa staring at the court documents in her hands as she sipped the tea the maids served.

"He thinks he's so smart. His order can work if he finds Anna first." Kathy stepped in. "He even threatened to ruin the business if we tried to contact her." She snickered even more.

Behind her snicker was a nervous woman. Kathy knew Noah's words weren't mere words and he would do what he had said. She can only hope her neice is smart enough to hide from that crazy man. They know more than anyone Noah will go to the end of the world to find her.

Kathy couldn't understand how her neice found this treacherous man.

"Where's Anna right now?"

"Wherever she is father must have sent enough money already for her upkeep. I called earlier and told her not to come back yet. We need to keep her as far away as possible." Kathy said nonchalantly. "And I'm not telling you about her location, I know you support that man secretly Grace. Don't do anything stupid." Kathy added in a warning tone.

"I won't go against my family, you don't have to worry about that." Grace smiled. "After we Anna away from him, what next?" Kathy hadn't thought of that. Keeping Anna away isn't the only important thing, though it is important for the restraining order Noah has placed on the family but keeping her away is not enough.

Anna would have to sneak to court to cancel that order. But that would mean she would have to come back to this city first. And if Noah finds her first, they're doomed for life.

Who the hell even places restraining orders on family members?

"What's important now is that we make him sign those papers, not hide Anna away." Grace said. She knew her family took her as the dumb one and barely listen to anything she says, but it didn't mean she wouldn't air out her thoughts.

Most decisions made by Kathy and general Sui are just unreasonable. It's almost like they want Anna to be as lonely as they are. This is the same thing their father had done when they were young girls. Every man they brought home was a problem or not fit to be a part of the Sui's family and now they've ended up alone.

They were too scared of heartbreak to find love again.

"You know if she comes back Noah will find her first."

"So what? He'll make our job so easy. Anna will only think of making him sign the papers rather than hiding away from him."

"Anna will never make him sign anything. That man will make her fall more in love with him and get her pregnant to keep her with him." Kathy sighed. She had thought about this very keenly, paying attention to every details.

If Noah and Anna stay separated for a long time, it means they're automatically divorced. Who knows Anna might find another love wherever she's at.

"I just got a message from Shen that his daughter is back." Grace said placing the court documents back on the table.

"What are you talking about?"

"I was told Janjan returned with a man. He seems to be interested in her and the Shen could be inviting us for a wedding celebration soon" Grace stated.

"A man?" Grace nodded staring at her sister.

"Who knew that girl would find a better man than our Anna first. She's so lucky." Kathy finally placed her butt on another Sofa. Anna was not lucky when it came to love. Kathy thought to herself.

"The man who proposed Marraige to the Shen's heiress, he's also a Declan from what I heard." A disdainful look appeared on Kathy's face.

"How disgusting, we need to warn their family about that young man. The Declan's are terrible people, they will ruin their family."

"We're not doing that, it's none of our business. Let the young girl marry whoever she wants." Grace shunned her. "But come to think of it, if the Shen's girl is back, doesn't that mean Anna is too?" Kathy frowned at her sisters words.

"Rubbish. Rubbish lies. I called Anna myself and she said she wasn't back." She spat getting really irritated by her sisters words. There's no way Noah would find Anna before them.

"Then why would Noah Declan place a restraining order for a woman he hasn't seen? He would rather sue the family for keeping his wife than placing restraining orders." Grace smiled at the puzzle she just cracked and mused at the dreadful look on her sisters face.

"Anna cannot lie to me." Kathy shook her head in denial.

"If she is, she has to make him sign those divorce papers quickly." Grace said meaningfully.

A knock was immediately heard on the door with the butler stepping in. "Your magazine came in early today madam." The butler announced handing the magazine over to grace before stepping out of the room.

Grace went through each pages, while Kathy thought of the possibilities of her neice being with Noah already. She couldn't shake off the feeling that Noah had already found Anna. If he was, he'll tell Anna the real truth behind the death of her parents. But will she believe him?

"Hmm, Mack Yong is now a cleaner at an entertainment industry?" Grace poured her sipped tea back into the glass still shocked at the information she just heard.

"Too bad for him, the last time I checked they were sued for fraud." Kate responded.

"To thing we wanted Anna married to that man."

"If anything, Mack is better than that monster Anna's married to. I would pick Mack everyday over than man." Kate said firmly.

"Even if he had hurt your neice and publicly humiliated her?" Grace couldn't believe her sister.

"I would never let him close to Anna, but he's still better than Noah Declan."
