"What do you want me to do with such information?" Noah pulled his wife closer to stand beside him. Mack watched both people, though his face showed no emotion, his heart stung. All he wanted was revenge, especially on Anna.
"I sold this organization to you a month ago..."
"The organization wasn't bought by me." Noah interrupted.
"Did you read your documents thoroughly as asked?" Noah asked turning to Paul, he said, "Did you make sure he read everything in the document?" Paul nodded
"Yes sir." He responded.
"But..."
"We have no discussion Mr Yong. My wife now owns this place. This is not a good way to find a job." He smiled mockingly.
Mack moved his hands through his hair, his life, that of Nari and his coming child. His parents, they can't survive out in the cold for long. Hell they'll die if they stay in that infested apartment for a day more.
When he had money, he thought it was cool cutting people off and acting like the king of the world. He never knew he would lose everything he owns in the blink of an eye.
The Yong family have gone bankrupt,' was all there was on the news. The world bullied and discriminatrd them. He had come here in hope of seeking assistance from Noah Declan and he wouldn't stop until he achieved his goal.
This place, is his last hope.
He stared at Anna who stared back at him with hate in her eyes. This woman is always known to have soft features but right now if looks could kill, he would be dead. She hated him and he could tell.
If he knew Anna was plotting his revenge, he would have been a hundred times smarter but it turns out she had outsmarted both him and Nari. Daring the biggest shot in the country is the highest achievement.
"Madam." Lola walked towards her boss. "I'm sorry if I'm interrupting anything." She apologized quickly.
"What is it Lola?" Anna asked.
"It's time for another photoshoot and video making. I promise it's the last." Lola said softly. Anna who was next to Noah stared at Mack, and then at Noah.
"Go ahead." Niah said calmly with a smile, she nodded and walked away. He stared at her till she was out of his sight and once she was he turned to Mack.
"I didn't think you would have the boldness to show your face here after everything you did to my wife." Noah said in a dead tone. Though he finds it stupid to just kill someone without torture first, this man with audacity before him is the first man he has longed to put a bullet through his hair.
"I'm deeply sorry Mr Declan for everything I did to her. I... I had no idea she was your wife." Mack fell on his knees to apologize dropping every pride he still had in him.
The almighty Mack who once upon a time everyone feared was now on his knees for Noah Declan. Paul who was standing at a corner couldn't be happier with everything going on.
He had been the one to find out everything about his madam and tell it all to his boss.
He had no idea Anna wasn't just dating this man, but she's now his wife. Anna is the wife of the wealthiest man in the country.
He had thought he was hurting her by leaving, but he only gave her out to a man like this. He has heard things about Noah Declan. The man no eyes have seen and even if they have, they would probably not know he is the one.
He was the most private person on earth, but how did he end up with a known person?
"Please have mercy on me and Nari."
"If only the mercy is in this room right now." Noah said coldly.
"The only way I can think about forgiving you is if you and your family apologize to my wife publicly." Mack could apologize and confess everything that had happened, he seemed desperate at the moment. But the other woman would never do it.
And that is why he wouldn't stop punishing them for everything they've done. He'll punish them to the depths of hell and back.
"That's not an issue Mr Declan, we'll do just that." Mack stared rising from where he knelt. He didn't care about the people filming around, he cared less if they posted anything about this. He doubts they would, not when Noah Declan is in the picture.
Noah didn't wait for him to respond and walked over to where his wife was.
Mack on the other hands found his way back to the slump he came from. Apologizing to Anna publicly shouldn't be a big deal for them as long as they would get their lives back.
Now he knew the source of his problem, he knew how to solve it now. The only thing he has to do is convince Nari to apologize too. Somewhere at the back of his mind, he knew she wouldn't do it, but maybe after a few persuasion, she would.
Mack wore his mask and entered a boss heading back to his house. He was happy at how progressive things are even if they were still somewhat stagnant. At least he knows the solution to his problem now.
Noah Declan has demanded for an apology for his wife and apology he will get.
When Mack arrived back home, he heard a few voices coming from inside the little house they now live in. He pushed the door open and stepped in only to see his parents and two people in the standing at a corner staring at the unconscious Nari that laid on the floor.
"What happened here?" Mack asked staring at the Nari.
"Oh Mack." Veronica rushed up to her son. "She was complaining about her stomach and the next thing she fell and started bleeding and..." She trailed her eyes moistening.
"And what?" Mack stared at the woman on the floor and then back at his mother.
"We— we called a close physician after asking a few people around, but before she arrived, she had already lost the child." The tears in Veronica's eyes rolled down to her cheeks.
"How's she doing now?"
"She's fine. She needs rest." Veronica responded.
"Thank you very much for attending to her, we'll need a little space now." Mack said to the two women in there and they both nodded. "Please give her this." She placed a bottle in Veronica's hands before stepping away.
During the time of the evening, Mack and his father decided to got out for a work after the stress of the day.
"How did it happen? She was perfectly fine this morning when I left."
"I thought the same too. We had breakfast together after that, she and your mother exchanged a few words and the next moment she started complaining about her stomach, then we saw blood and that's the end." Mack would have thought Nari took something but she had no money for such drugs.
The doctor had informed him about her pregnancy being risky at the first stage. It's the reason he wanted to find a job and quickly. Mack felt useless at the moment. He didn't have the money to protect Nari from losing his child, he has lost his first child all because of Anna and Noah.
"How did it go, did you meet him?" Mack turned to his father and nodded.
"It turns out he's the one that turned us this way."
"What?" Mack nodded at his father's shocked exclamation. "Why would he do that to you?"
"Well, it turns out you were right all along. He's somehow married to Anna and maybe wants to take revenge on us." Mack stared nonchalantly. He had stooped as low as kneeling down before Noah. But just as Anna pretended to be weak and let them think they have an upper hand, he would do that way and sneak his way to the top.
"He's a very powerful man father. He's the cause of our bankruptcy and will not stop till every one of us apologize publicly to Anna. I guess we'll have to do that soon if we want to leave this swamp." He said.
After losing his child today, Mack has decided to take his revenge on Anna and Noah. He'll destroy them inwardly and make them pay for everything they've done to him.
"Apologizing publicly is not an issue. In a month or two, no one will remember anything that happened a few days ago. We'll be fine as long as we get our lives back." Mack nodded at his father's words.
He was glad his parents understood him and didn't demand much from him.
"I cannot believe Anna would do this to us." Henry was still in disbelief. The Anna they thought to be powerless has been the reason for their downfall.
