Chapter 87 FIRST BREAKFAST AT THE DECLAN'S MANSION 2

"What are you doing standing here?" She turned to look at Noah and Elder Vincent standing behind her. Anna smiled seeing the familiar faces here. She didn't know whether to cry or hug them both as they were here.
"Don't tell me you want to skip breakfast?" Noah asked and she shook her head.
"I... I was about to step in." She said. "Where have you been?"
"With Grandpa, I had to make sure he doesn't harm the doctor here to check him."
"You!" Vincent yelled at his grandson who chuckled lightly. This boy-turned-man likes to tease him with every chance he gets.
"I already told you I wouldn't harm the doctor anymore. I'm taking my health seriously especially since I'm yet to see my grandchildren." He stated with a smile.
"Let's go in child and get something to eat," Vincent said to Anna, ignoring Noah completely. He was done with his grandson.
Vincent held Anna's hands as they walked proudly into the dining room with Noah tailing behind them. There were a few people in the room, already having breakfast including Cara and her family. They didn't return home after the celebration last night, not when Anna was in the mansion with Noah.
Cara hadn't slept the whole night pacing back and forth as she wondered what Noah could be doing with Anna. She had let her imagination get the better of her and had stayed up all night.
As Anna's eyes scanned everyone at the table, she noticed her best friend Janjan sitting with Noah's cousin and she narrowed her eyes.
"Good morning everyone." Anna greeted.
"Good morning dear." Evelyn was the first to respond, especially since the girl had gifted her her favorite thing in the world. Flower.
"Good morning dear," Lionel responded with a small smile.
"How was your night sister-in-law?" Chalamet asked with a cunning smile staring more at Noah who didn't glance at him.
"Sister-in-law? Why would Noah settle for less?" Hannah laughed and only Cara responded to her laugh.
Anna ignored the pained woman and stared at Janjan as both girls interacted with their eyes. Janjan pointed at Chalamet with pleading eyes and Anna understood what her friend wanted. She would have to do something about this later. For now, she needed Noah's family to accept as she waited for Noah to make the formal introduction.
Vincent drew out a chair for his daughter in law to which she sat as he sat down beside her. Noah took a seat close to his grandfather and Hannah tugged her daughter to go seat next to him. She didn't like that Noah had come with this model girl Anna, she could only hope they didn't spend the night together.
Cara who had been drinking tea from her cup quickly rushed to sit beside Noah smiling at everyone. Once everyone was settled in, the family started eating again.
"Isn't life amazing?" Evelyn asked staring at Anna who stared back confused at her question.
"A few weeks ago we all discussed about you as Noah introduced you as his model and now here you are eating breakfast with us." She smiled and Anna returned it.
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you."
"For a woman of your status, you do have the time for online gossip and trends Evelyn." Hannah cut in but Evelyn smiled. On a normal day, she wouldn't take such disrespectful words from Hannah but she was happy. Especially after a successful birthday party.
"My son now owns an entertainment company he would be launching it soon, it's only normal I learn a few things about the entertainment world," Evelyn said proudly and Hanna forced a smile.
"There are so many things to learn in the entertainment world mother. Not about some low-class models fighting." Beth said to receive a glare from her brother but she ignored him quickly.
"Then you know nothing about the entertainment world." Noah cut in. "Not every fight is real, industries plan then to push their models out there." Anna felt touched that Noah was coming to her rescue, but she still felt like some things were not meant to be responded to. Especially his sister's words.
"Anna is from a pretty decent family." Janjan came to her friend's rescue too.
"Really? What family is that?" Evelyn asked suddenly interested in the model girl.
"The Sui's," Janjan said proudly.
"The Sui's?" Evelyn tried to search her memory of where she had heard of such name. It sounded familiar but she couldn't remember where she had heard the name.
"I don't think I've heard of that family." Evelyn gave up.
"That's because they're nobodies in the society. What is even a Sui? Who bares such name?" When no one responded to Hannah she then turned to Noah.
"It's been so long since I saw you Noah, how have you been?" She asked mustering the sweetest smile but Noah didn't respond to her. He rather chewed on his food slowly till he swallowed.
Cara who was sitting next to Noah signaled her mother to inform Evelyn about their plans. Hannah cleared her throat from the embarrassment she had just gotten from Noah. Then she spoke, "I and Evelyn have been talking for a while now." Hannah started staring at everyone on the table.
"What is it about?" Lionel who has been quiet until now asked with narrowed eyes. He could already see where this was going, he had warned his wife about this, and he was shocked she hadn't listened to him. But she didn't even listen to him so he wasn't surprised at all.
"Oh, Mr Declan is about our children. Noah and Cara." Hannah said staring at Evelyn.
"What about them?" He asked.
"We have decided to join them together. Their marriage plan will begin in a week."
