Chapter 75 BABYSITTING 1

1050words
"Do you think Noah would like this?" Cara asked her friend as she tried on her outfit. She was in a turquoise dress that revealed her womanly curves. Her red hair was now dyed blonde since Noah liked that celebrity, Anna.

If Noah likes Blondies, then she would be blonde just to show him how much she loves him too. No woman can love him as much as she does. No one.

"If we're being honest, I don't know what my brother likes, but let's hope he likes it," Beth said to her friend who smiled back at her. She added a pink blush to her cheeks staring at her reflection through the mirror.

Cara had begged her parents to let the Declan's know of her interest in Noah, but they refused, saying they weren't cheap. They had rather asked her to stay in the Declan's mansion and seduce Noah but her plans didn't work.

She had been badly humiliated the day she saw Noah's side piece, but not anymore. She wouldn't let another have what is hers. Tonight she had planned to look her best and buy her future mother In law the biggest gift in the building.

Cara applied a red lip gloss on her lipstick, she smacked her lips together, picked up her purse, and stared at her reflection through the mirror.

As she admired how beautiful she was, her phone suddenly rang. "The gift arrived in time, madam." The caller said and Cara smiled.

"Hide it away from all eyes, I'll be there shortly." She said and hung up.

"Beth it's here." She rushed to her friend.

"What is it again, you never said what it was you bought," Elizabeth asked adding the finishing touch to her face before looking at her friend.

When it came to looks, Beth had it better than Cara, but it didn't make Cara less beautiful. Cara is a beauty, but Elizabeth just had an outstanding facial feature.

"If I tell you what it is, it won't be a surprise anymore," Cara said to see her friend nod in agreement. She was right, plus Beth already knew Cara was trying to impress her family. Especially Noah.

"Vermont said he'll be here today," Beth said as she rose from where she sat.

"Good for him."

"Chalamet will be here also to pay homage to Mom, I hope that won't be a problem?" Elizabeth asked her friend who suddenly frowned on hearing the name Chalamet.

They had been in a relationship before, and it didn't end too well. But Cara had moved on from it, but the hate she had for Chalamet remained the same. She loved him, but he cheated on her.

"I don't care about him," Cara stated and stepped out of the room with Beth tailing behind her.

When both ladies stepped out of the mansion, they headed to where Cara's gift man was.

"Miss Cara." The man greeted her with a bow.

"Do you have it, Hilton?" Cara asked and the man brought out a little gift box from inside the car. He handed the package over to Cara and she took it proudly. She has spent a fortune on this gift and she hoped it would be well received.

"Woah," Beth exclaimed staring at the beautifully packaged gift box.

"It looks expensive." She said.

"It is expensive Beth. Now Hilton, come inside and come help with a few things, I'll see you after the party." Cara said and the man nodded. It is an honor to be invited into the Declan's mansion, not everyone had this opportunity.

"Just tell me what it is Cara don't do this to me." Beth cried dying of curiosity.

"Never," Cara stated as they both stepped back inside the mansion. Just as they arrived at the entrance of the mansion, they noticed a black car halt at the entrance of the mansion. Both girls turned curious to know who had arrived for the party this early.

Though a few guests lived in the mansion for the celebration, the birthday party wasn't hosted until at night. Unless...

Chalamet Declan stepped out of the car, a smile hanging on his lips as he stared at his notorious cousin and her friend he dated once. Then, she was a little spoilt girl, but right now, she was all grown. He smiled at Cara's glares.

"Aren't you going to give me a hug?" Chalamet asked staring at both girls. Beth went in to hug her cousin while Cara stepped back into the mansion. She would not let anything destroy her day today. Today was a special day for her, a day to be her happiest day.

Even if it was Evelyn Declan's birthday, Cara felt like it was hers.

Back at Noah's mansion, "I love you so much Anna, thank you." Janjan hugged her friend tightly. Anna had just informed her about her plans to employ her as her P.A. She couldn't be happier.

"You're welcome Janjan. You know I'll do anything and more for you." Anna smiled and Janjan returned it.

As both ladies talked, Noah's car arrived at the entrance of the mansion and he stepped out without waiting for his chauffeur to open the door for him. He had returned this early to escort his wife for shopping as they planned. He couldn't miss this for the world.

They were both busy people, so he valued the little time they shared together.

"Welcome back Master Noah." Lurch took his master's coat.

"My wife?" Noah asked handing his bag over to the old man.

"Madam is perfectly fine and is waiting for you with her friend," Lurch announced.

"Friend?" Noah asked and Lurch nodded.

"Her friend Janie." Noah frowned slightly and then his face returned to the usual indifferent face. Just when he thinks he could spend a little time with that little woman, something or someone gets in the way. If it's not Lurch, then it's that stupid Janjan. Who in the world even bears the name Janjan?

He picked up his phone and dialed Paul's number.

"Sir," Paul said from the other end.

"Come, Paul, I have a job for you," Noah said calmly as he stepped in.

"I'll do anything, sir."

"I know. I want you to babysit a woman..."
