Nari took her eyes off Anna and turned to Mack. "We'll talk about what happened tonight later. For now let's focus on the problem at hand."

"Tell Tom to announce my net worth immediately." Mack told the man and he bowed before leaving. He has been waiting for the right time to announce his net worth and since the world was now watching his father's birthday party through Nari's live stream he saw now to be the right time.

He couldn't kiss Nari yet or do something romantic with her since they haven't announced their engagement yet. But he would control the media with something else.

"Thank you all for coming today, in honor of my husband's 60th birthday." Veronica stood on the podium to address the crowd. As her eyes moved around, they fell on the girl in a blue dress who smiled as she talked to another girl beside her.

She wondered who even invited Anna here in the first place. She was sure she is the reason Mack and Nari had issues. Until this evening they have been peaceful to each other.

She couldn't deny it, if Anna was her daughter in law, she was certain she would have angelic grand children, Nari is better than any other women too. Nari is beautiful, even if she isn't as beautiful as Anna.

"I and my family are so grateful to have you here." While she kept talking, Henry Yong who had sighted Anna from afar walked to where she was. She is the girl he had chosen for his son, but that foolish boy Mack had lost a good women.

"Annabelle." He called and her gentle blue eyes met his.

"Father, it is so good to see you." Anna smiled as she hugged him. Henry Yong was like a second father to her. He was always so supportive and always defended her against his nagging and controlling wife.

"I'm sorry for what happened to you and Mack." The old man apologized and Anna smiled.

"You don't have to apologize for that asshole father. Whatever it was, I'm over it now."

"I hope you find a better. Someone who would treat you better than my son." Henry said patting her shoulder and then walking away to greet the next people. Anna stared at his back for a while till Lola tapped her.

"Let's go have dinner." She heard Lola say.

"Is it time yet?" Anna asked and Lola narrowed her eyes at her. Even if both ladies had a star and manager relationship, Anna and Lola had grown a bond that was beyond that. They were more than just boss and employee, they were good friends.

"Don't tell me you haven't been listening?" Lola asked to see Anna purse her lips.

"I told you to pay close attention, so we know when to strike." Lola nagged to see Anna roll her eyes.

"Yes mummy." They smiled at each other as they stepped inside the dining area. There were lots of tables arranged in twos, threes and fours up to six seater per table. It was a beautiful arrangement. Everything in the dinning room looked grand and beautiful.

Anna and Lola found their way to a two seater table so they could converse without being disturbed. The plates arranged on the table were brands of the highest quality, showing off the Yong's wealth.

"Ha, he has announced his net worth to distract people from the news." Lola scoffed.

"Shhh, people might hear you Lola." Anna said to see her little manager cover her lips with her palm.

"It's just that this people are ridiculous." Lola took a glass of drink from the male servant that worked past them. They are really bold to show their faces before Anna after everything they had done.

"And to think I once thought of them as family." There is this sadness in Anna's eyes each time she thinks of the relationship she once shared with Mack and Nari. She used to think they were her heavenly sent family after she lost her parents.

She spent years of her life with them. Grew up with them without a knowledge they were both trying to destroy her. If she has any regrets in mind, it would be the day she saved Nari from bullying and made her her best friend.

"I used to believe the news online about you. I used to curse you out with my friends, but now I know not everything they put out online is the truth." Lola confessed and Anna smiled.

"I have one of my trolls sitting with me." She joked and they both laughed.

"Yes before I forget, we were talking about getting me a new P.A right?" Lola nodded.

"Well don't bother about it anymore, I already found one." Anna said. She has determined to give Janjan the job, that way they'll have more time to spend together.

"Who have you chosen?" Lola asked.

"She'll resume next week, you'll see her then." Anna couldn't wait to tell Janjan about the job. She couldn't wait to see her reaction.

While everyone offered their gifts to Henry Yong, Nari stared at her phone every now and then checking what people had to say about her and Mack's relationship and the odds were not in her favor. She frowned.

She never thought tonight would be this disastrous. She never knew one day the people that praised her would drag her to filt.

"The net worth announcement is not working Mack what do we do?" She asked Mack who was focused on the gifts being given to his father. He had other things in mind that were more important than whatever the internet thought of him.

He just made a business deal with all of his money and was yet to get a reply. Mack had no idea what was happening. He couldn't possibly just lose his $20 billion just like that right. It wasn't possible.

Other times before making a business deal he usually consulted his lawyers, but this time he had no idea why he didn't.

"That is not important now Nari. It's time to sing a song for father as promised before the engagement announcement." Mack reminded her.

"Do you think this is a good idea?" People were already calling her different names on the net, accusing her of stealing Mack away from Anna.

They claimed it hasn't been up to a month since Anna and Mack's seven years relationship ended and she was already there. Mack's net worth announcement didn't change anything, it only made it worse.

The rumor of them being together is spreading like wild fire.

"Go on, everyone's waiting for you. We can't change the plans now." Mack explained. Anna was right, if people were to find out about her pregnancy, it will surely be the end of her. Nari clenched her hands into a fist as she walked to the center of the large hall to present her gift to her father in-law.

She took the mic from the mc and walked over to where Henry Yong sat. "Father, my gift for you is a song. The song I wrote myself for you." She started and murmurs could be heard among the crowd.

"Nari can sing too?"

"Oh she's super talented."

Nari smiled. At least the people in here haven't heard of the choas online. Or maybe they have but they just didn't care.

Nari started singing the song with the sweetest voice she could use and as the ended the song she turned around to see Mack kneeling before her with a diamond ring in his hands. The crowed erupted and everyone cheered at the aww moment.

Anna who was prepared before had didn't react to their display, but she didn't smile either. She only clapped when others did and sat back down.

"Is it time now?" Lola asked and Anna nodded. Lola signaled her team and they released the news she wanted out.

"It's done." Lola said and Anna smiled. It's only a matter of time before they would find out about what has happened.

While the Yong's celebrated in their mansion, the whole world ridiculed them. Everyone called them different names and cursed them.

'Nari, that bitch I wish she dies...'

'And to think we supported her all this while...

'I feel so bad for Anna. All these time she was being bullied by these evil people...

'I always knew that Nari is a snake...

'And Anna took the blame for everything they did even if she had been innocent all these time. We owe Anna Sui an apology...

'Mack had threatened to destroy Anna after he cheated...?

Anna's phone started buzzing with calls and messages, so did Nari's but she couldn't check since she wasn't with her phone at the moment. As she merried with Mack, she noticed whispers between the crowd as everyone murmured to themselves.

The eyes and lips that praised and smiled at her before started to turn sour. Everyone stared at her differently as they murmured something to themselves.

The women in there glared at she and Mack.

"What shameless couple." One of the women who couldn't hide her mouth suddenly said out glaring at Nari.

"You're a hypocrite Nari I wish you the worst on your marriage with him." Another woman said.

The internet was already on fire, no one in the country could escape the news.

"What are you talking about Jane, this is not the reason I invited you here." Veronica came to her daughter in laws rescue.

"You're as evil as her." Came the woman's curt words. "Did you join them to plan for another woman's downfall. How could you Nari, we all thought you were a good person?" Jane spat and everyone checked their phone to know what was happening.

"I cannot be in the midst of evil. I'm out." Jane picked her bag and walked away, so did everyone who had attended the birthday party. One after another they left.

"Nari who said nothing quickly grabbed her phone to check what was really going on, she collapsed immediately.

"This is our cue to leave." Lola suggested and Anna nodded. She followed Lola out of the mansion. When they got out, Noah had already arrived.

"Are you ready my love?" He opened the door for her and she smiled.

"You came just in time." Anna held his hands for support and stepped inside the car, when Noah and Lola were settled in, the chauffeur drove off.

"You did a good job my love." Noah said and she smiled.
