"Jack, let go," I whispered urgently.
I fought to control my breathing, pushing against his chest.
But he only pulled me closer, one hand cradling my head as he deepened the kiss.
"Mmm..."
"Tell me, sis," he murmured against my lips. "Who's better—me or Joel?
Who do you like more, more, more?"
Jack's breath tickled my ear, his smile audible in his voice.
I shot him an exasperated look, but he took advantage, capturing my mouth in a kiss that made the world disappear.
My knees buckled, my body melting against his.
He caught me with one strong arm, steadying me.
But we stumbled against the door, creating a noticeable thud.
The knocking instantly grew more insistent.
"Jack!"
"Shit! Is something wrong with him?"
Hearing their worried whispers, panic shot through me.
They might break down the door any second.
But Jack continued kissing me with hurricane intensity, completely unconcerned.
